I have been very pleased with our recent install of a Solar/Battery solution undertaken by Pure Energy, an accredited NICEIC & MCS supplier. They provided considerable confidence that one was in very capable hands throughout the process of agreeing the specification, quotation & payment, managing all aspects of the install itself and providing aftercare and guidance.

The team kept us well informed and could easily be contacted to discuss any aspects of the install, including technical queries and the process of grid connection and applying to export excess energy.

The end result looks great with a tidy & professional job done fixing up the panels on the roof, installing the supporting equipment (inverter, battery & controller) inside and undertaking the lengthy cable run and connections to the external supply meter.

Thanks to Pure Energy, the process of getting such an install undertaken exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

Our Solar installation was carried out by Pure Energy mid January and now it has had some long term testing I can say they did an absolutely brilliant job.

Sales Rep Andy was very friendly and knew solar well, he recommended a great setup for our needs. The install team of Mike and John'o were great with Arron doing a fantastic job of final commissioning and setup.

Louise and the others in the head office kept us up to date including contacting the national grid for some changes we needed to feed in.

Overall a very happy customer and happy to recommend.

From initial email contact, i cannot fault them. Communication has been great. Everyone i have had contact with has been incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I was taken aback by the speed at which this has been completed. Cannot fault them. Would happily recommend anyone that is considering the installation of Solar to speak to them.

Got referred to the team at Pure Energy from a family friend. The team have been really good from start to finish and the aftercare has been second to none couldn't recommend them enough.

We needed help to sort out our solar system, installed 11 years ago. John Weir came to see us and carried out survey of our system. The view was that our inverter was faulty and it was possible that we had some panels not working as they should. John explained that Pure Energy could update the wiring to our panels and install a new inverter. In addition to that John explained the benefits of installing batteries to allow us to store low cost tariff electricity and solar to use the following day which should drastically cut our running cost. We agreed a price and placed an order. We asked if we could have this done asap and within a couple of days we were contacted and asked if they could come the following Monday. The fitters turned up on time with all the equipment and the project completed in a professional manor in a day. We did have a small issue, so the fitters returned the next morning and resolved the problem.
The service received from both the office support and the installers was excellent.

I upped my review from 2 to 3 stars after they contacted me to resolve the outstanding problems.
The number of problems I have had and the effort it takes to get them resolved is unbelievable. My latest problem is one of the panels stopped generating 9 months after install. It took over a month to get them to investigate. They promised to come and fix it but it is now 5 months since the panel failed and still no visit.
They get two stars as the system works. I nearly gave a single star due to the grief and stress over many months with a variety of other problems as follows.
I opted for panels installed in the roof rather than on top as we were getting the whole roof replaced. The flashing is such poor quality we now have leaks in the roof! I raised a problem with the flashing the day after the install as the roofers wanted it replaced, but even though I spoke to someone at Pure Energy and I was told someone would call me back, no-one did. When I called them a month after the install as I could hear the flashing flapping in high wind, they told me by phone they would fix it. Then when I chased after a few weeks of no contact they told me they would no longer be fixing the flashing.
It took them 5 months and lots of chasing by me to get the DNO so I could export.
They had to fit a limiter to my export and accidentally set it to 0.368kW instead of 3.68kW.
When they did my install and in the subsequent visit to fit the limiter, they postponed several times, notifying me on the day or the day before.

This company used to be known as New Age Innovation. Firstly the good part, they installed a new inverter and battery system for me a couple of years ago. The installation was good and the installers efficient and professional. Unfortunately, at the time they told me that they would be monitoring my system for faults and offered me a 5 year warranty. Unfortunately neither of these things turned out to be true and after finding out myself after a month that my inverter was faulty, was then told that there was only a 2 year warranty offered. They were very keen to point out that “they weren’t saying I was lying BUT… I was the only one who had reported this issue” where have we all heard this before cough cough… Horizon… cough cough. I wouldn’t trust this company as far as I could throw them. Be warned.

Great all round experience. All the team were excellent. Very knowledgeable from start to finish.

Nov 27 decided to get a battery pack to use excess power from our solar panels after considering fully we decided on Nov 30 to cancel the contract and sent email and recorded delivery letter. We have had no replies to any written communication and despite numerous further phone calls no refund of our deposit of £1318. Lots of excuses NO ACTION.

I have had my solar panels for over a year with this company and would definitely recommend them. Dan Minter contacted me when I made an enquiry and gave me a quote. He was very patient and not a pushy sales, he answered all my questions, concerns in details and waited for me to make my decision with minimal phone calls and emails. On the day of installation, the team was great, they got on with the work and was tidy and all was working well. There were little hiccups like birdproofing wasn't thought to be included when it should be but all was sorted very quickly, hence I didn't want to write review straight away and then forgotten. Until recently I changed Internet provider and noticed my app for solar panel was not working and so I contacted Dan as was worried something was wrong. Dan was great and replied straight away sending my problem to the technical team to help me resolve my issue. 👍 Temi who gave clear instructions over phone and reset my system in about 20mins. This is my long overdue review. It is a bit long but want to share my happy experience with this company especially Dan at not being pushy and very helpful. I highly recommend them. Just get a quote and you'll see how they're different.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company for solar installation. It’s been a week since my install was completed and it’s a case of so far so much better than just good.
They were very patient with me during the negotiation stages but when I finally made up my mind the installation took place just over a week later. Everything they promised happened on the day and it was only a day!
The guys who came were incredibly neat and tidy workers and were at pains to hide the cables and make sure everything looked good in addition to functioning properly.
The backup has been faultless too with lots of phone calls and clearly they have been monitoring my new system from afar.
Only time will tell just how efficient my system is but I couldn’t be more pleased at this stage (which is also an incredible relief after all the deliberation of spending so much money).
The only word of caution I’d give is it’s quite daunting being faced with so much data and so many considerations about how to get the best out of the system. I was able to spend my time researching on the net etc but you may find yourself wishing there was someone to hold your hand in the early days. Don’t be put off it’s really worth the while.

I have had an ongoing discussion with PURE regarding their provision and installation of batteries. I'm glad to report that the issue has been resolved in a satisfactory manner. I've particularly appreciated the constructive advice and support of Louise through this process and the exellent installation attention of Aron.
Advice to all? (imv) - just be alert to issues regarding broadband coverage, speed, and performance in the process of installing solar and batteries.

From the very first contact with Pure Energy they individuals were extremely polite and pleasant. At no time was there pressure to busy or sign up on the spot to this product, a estimate was given for us to consider before agreeing to proceed.
Once agreed the installation was just about one month - very quick !
With on two days of installation there was a follow up phone call to make sure we were happy with everything.
Finally the the two installers were very professional and completed the fitting in a prompt and neat manner.

From our first meeting with Gary, we were made to feel confident in this company. He came across as knowledgeable in his field and we trusted him to guide us in the right direction with our solar panels as we had limited knowledge of the pros and cons.
Installation was ahead of scheduled time and the workmen, Pav + Nicola, who came on installation day were very pleasant and got on with the job in hand. A few tiles, broken from the scaffolding, were replaced without issue, and our solar panels were up and running in 3 days.
The app seems easy to follow and was well explained to us by Nicola.

The prospect of spending thousands of pounds on a solar energy system, when you don't have a full understanding of solar power is extremely daunting. Where do you start? Who should I trust?
I spoke with 3 or 4 companies, who all had pretty good reviews. One of which was Pure Energy. Gary Ash made an appointment to visit me, and from the moment he started to give me an in depth view of how the system worked, I felt confident that he knew his trade very well. There were a number of options available to me, each with their own merits. I opted for a full SolarEdge system including 20kw battery storage, and 16 panels. Once I had signed the contract, and paid a deposit, I was contacted by Louise to arrange a site survey, and installation date. The survey was carried out by Nic & Pav, who again reassured me about the process. The two day installation was almost completed, but the delivery was one panel short. After they had left, I took a look from the bottom of my garden, and was not happy that two of the panels on the flat roof on top of my house were very visable, so I sent a photo to Louise, asking what could be done. The business owner, Harry, called me apologising for the delay, and told me that he would be arriving the next day to finish off, and take a look at the panels in question. On his arrival, we discussed the panels, and he agreed that although solar panels are not the most attractive addition to a roof, he felt that they could be reconfigured. This however, would be an extra day's work. I was waiting for the sucker punch about extra charges, but without prompting, he said that there would be no additional charge, and would arrange for this to be done ASAP. He called that night offering to carry out the work the following day, but I was not going to be home, so he arranged for the next day. At 8am, Brandon & Sonny arrived, and took all the panels off the side of my house, and rearranged the racks to accommodate the extra two from the flat roof. Nothing was too much trouble, and the installation was completed to my OCD satisfaction. Follow up calls from Paige & Louise to confirm everything was working, and to see that I knew how to use the app (another plus point) were really helpful. Overall, an exceptional experience. Everyone at Pure Energy should be proud of their efforts. I now have Green, cheaper Electricity, and would not hesitate to recommend Pure Energy to anyone considering Solar Panel installation.

We found this company through a neighbour who had a solar system installed.
We contacted the company and a surveyor called Gary came to visit. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and explained everything very well, no questions were a problem. Pleased we made the right decision to go for the larger storage battery to enable us to draw down cheap night time energy into the battery and also store surplus solar energy .

Once all agreed a date was arranged. The installers were great, they were efficient and tidy workers and once all installed were very good with the handover, explaining everything we needed to know regarding the system. Since the installation we have already noticed a difference to our bills…an excellent choice of company.
