I found the Understanding Autism Level 3 very useful, it was to add to other qualifications I have gained.
It really opened my eyes to my own condition and made me more aware of others and the struggles they experience.

I have just completed the Level 2 Certificate in Introducing caring for child and young person. The course was excellent and very helpful especially when you have not got a lot of experience with children. I learnt a lot. My assessor Lynne Batchelor was very helpful with giving good feedback on my assessments with guidelines of good reads. A very worthwhile course and I hope to continue with more courses in this area.

I had a great experience completing Functional Skills English Level 2 with PTS. The course was intensive but very well structured and delivered over a few focused weeks, which really helped me stay on track.

All the credit goes to my tutor, Frances Renphrey, who was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable and encouraging throughout. She provided excellent additional resources, and if you take the time to work through everything she gives you, you will pass.

What was especially important to me is that PTS offers the option to sit the exams using pen and paper, rather than relying on complicated or "fancy" technology, which I found made a huge difference to my confidence.

I would highly recommend PTS and Frances to anyone looking to achieve their Functional Skills qualification.

I took Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties and I absolute enjoyed how it was organised and how flexible it was to those with other responsibilities. 10/10 experience.

Level 3 - Principles in End of Life Care has helped me not only to enhance my skills and knowledge in my voluntary role but also to gain a wider insight into how someone can remain empowered at the end of their life to ensure they have a good death. A subject that has been taboo for too long and needs to be spoken about openly.

My course materials were not up to date - many broken links in, and it was missing some changed and more up to date practices. The word processing programme also didn't work well enough to be able to add bulleted lists, numbered lists etc without the whole question going out of formatting. To not be able to copy and paste in to the document was very patronising and frustrating. I know that everyone's worried about AI answers, but there are decent programs available to check. Not being able to work offline was a real problem when eg: the network went down at work. The marking, and the human contact, I can't fault - very positive. It's frustrating that it was functional things that let the side down.

My course “Counselling skills Level 2” was very well structured and the feedback my tutors gave me was very constructive. I do recommend 100%.

I completed the course Level 2 Mental Health First Aid and I really enjoyed this course, the modules were easily accessible and broken down into sections. The assignments were small questions and easy to answer. Marilyn was my tutor and she provided quick and constructive feedback that I could use to improve my next assignment. Would recommend this course if you would like to boost your knowledge and skills.
