Overall very good but..
The selling phase was marred by hard sell tactics and initially excessive prices that were unnecessary. The products and warranties are very good and sell themselves, the communication was good and the installers were terrific.

No show!
Had an initial visit booked today to survey and quote.. however, they didn’t turn up!! If they can’t even keep their word on the first visit, there’s no hope for the rest of it! I’ll be on the hunt for a local company. By the looks of other reviews, they’re far too expensive anyway.

Solar Battery Fitting
Ben was a very personable, customer focused individual. He arrived early, worked discreetly around us as we conducted our morning routine of getting children out the door to school and nursery. He explained what he was doing and gave me a quick run through at the end of the day on the product.

Excellent service.
The salesman, Adam, was very knowledgeable and courteous and answer all questions we had.
The installation team were second to none. The were very professional, polite and friendly. The standard of work was exceptional and all waste generated was cleaned and taken away at the end of the job.
A very pleasant experience from start to finish.

The engineer and roofer were efficient…
The engineer and roofer were efficient and polite. On completion they removed all their rubbish and packaging. The engineer explained how the system worked and helped download the app onto my mobile phone.

Fast, friendly and efficient
So after my panels fused again I was very impressed Project Solar sent someone very quickly to replace the fuse and cable to allow the system to operate again.

Extremely poor customer service
I’m really disappointed with my experience with Project Solar and their third party supply chain.
From the outset, expectations were set in our initial meeting that simply weren’t met, and communication throughout was poor.
Despite giving multiple opportunities for scaffolding to be installed, I was messed around for 3 days and then when I finally decided to cancel, I was then called by the owner of the scaffolding company to be gaslighted and belittled.
What was promised was not delivered, and it caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration.
Customer service should be about resolving issues and valuing clients, but unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience here. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so improvements can be made for future customers.
Based on my experience, I would be hesitant to recommend this company.

Chris and Derek where fantastic
Chris and Derek where fantastic. The job took longer than expected but through no fault of theirs but they stayed professional throughout. Danny and Lewis where also highly professional and great even though the setbacks stopped them from completing the job. All in all project solor staff including the ones I spoke to at the office and the salesman Shane where amazing the whole time.
