I'd like to give 0 stars as this bunch of useless employees don't deserve it.
They haven't got a clue what they're talking about and no one knows the score.
How can the CAA approve that such nutcases dealing with sensitive paperwork and decide whether being trustworthy or not gaining an airside pass.
No airline with common sense should deal with them.

I've worked in aviation for 10 years now and since transfering to a new airlines, I had to endure the incompetence that is Procius. Knowing what is required to obtain an airside pass at my airport of employment I thought that this would be a simple process, I was wrong. For some strange reason procius insisted I provide personal references despite having more than the required 5 year history (one of which they lost and had to be re-submitted at my referees times and cost), they also demand you request a statement from HMRC to verify what is already stated by professional and personal (again not required for my application) references. The whole process took over 3 months to complete due to their inability to work without being prompted and requests for various documents, all probably to justify their existence and incompetence. It's just a good job I wasn't working during the COVID Lockdown, as it took so long to process my application I'd probably be out of a job otherwise.

Such a pain, their process is very stressful, even filling out the online forms it asks for information like EXACT dates and periods and it constantly asks you to be exact with the ranges.

How the hell are we supposed to remember the EXACT periods of unemployment we have had, you have to essentially HUNT this information down and try and guesstimate it and hope its correct, it also REQUIRES you to have two personal references who must provide EXACT information on your dates of employment to the very dates of the month.

I wanted to give up on this process multiple times because it's just such a pain to have to deal with alongside my actual job, it makes me feel like I'm a criminal being investigated or something.

Absolute shambles of a company. How a company can use Procius to fact check references and trust them with personal data is beyond me.

I have recently had Procius verify my references and honestly what a nightmare.

Everything was going smoothly, or so i had thought. They contacted me saying they had gained my references, but needed to check on some things (no idea what).

Then they asked for more information about one of my references, it's worth adding this one is from over 5 years ago. They wanted my bank statements and proof that i worked there, not a clue why when they had already provided a reference to them.

I've now had about 7 emails and 4 calls with voicemails left demanding the information or they will report back to the company who hired them that i am being uncooperative and difficult.

The problem is as i have told them, i simply don't have the paperwork to provide them.

If you are thinking of using this company to outsource background checks. RETHINK! This company reflects back on yourselves and is likely to be detrimental to your business.

The worst company ever. They not checking their emails and constantly sending you the same email. If there was -5 review, they would get -10...

The most unprofessional bunch of people I ever had to deal with. Absolutely unable to do their job. I had my background checks done for the role of pilot at an airline in the UK and they kept losing sensitive data and personal documents I had to send them.

They also kept calling me non stop! And it was from different people in the company who were not informed on the progress by their colleagues, so I would get multiple calls for the same reason. My referees also kept getting calls for information they already had provided!

Absolutely unprofessional, rude and a massive waste of time!

Please steer clear of Procius if you can.

I provided a very detailed reference for a close friend - it was impossible to provide anything else because their extra long form implies (wonderfully passive aggressively) that my friend wont keep his new job if I do otherwise.

Precious (or whatever) now tell me that my reference is 'incorrect', how is it possible that my opinion on someone's character is incorrect? I can only assume they have some kind of Minority Report style Precrime department.

Completing this reference is proving more taxing than my actual job and I dread to imagine the amount if harm done to candidates and employers by the 'service' provided by these people.

My profile got messed up so much by Procius to the point I don’t even think they knew what they was doing anymore!

I have been having to do all their work for them because clearly no one on the team has a clue when i’m being told one thing and someone else telling me I shouldn’t of been told that.

I have been without work and pay for 5 months! Resulting in loads of debt!
Only leaving me with 4 months left of work as my contract ends in November.

I got cleared 3 weeks ago and did my security training and was hopeful i was getting somewhere...
Until my ID pass get rejected because procius ain’t capable of attaching the supporting documents to send to the ID office.

Everyone i’ve spoke to have had a complete nightmare!
Was so close towards deadline as well causing me to nearly loose my job!
I am literally back suffering with anxiety!

Procius sort yourself out, i don’t wish this process on ANYONE

Impossible to get a hold of. Incredibly poor service. I can't believe such an incompetent company are given such an important job. Airlines need to realise the unnecessary difficulty these clowns are causing. Anyone else in this industry - please set up competition and put them out of business!

If I could give them minus stars I would. They refuse to communicate, keep demanding references FROM the company they've been employed to seek references FOR, and nobody in the company seems to know what's going on. They are also offensively intrusive.

Trying my best to provide a reference for one of my oldest friends and I've never had to jump through so many hoops to do something so simple as give a character reference.

The online surveys I was sent often didn't make sense, with questions like

"did they live in the UK? Yes/No"
followed by
"if you answered yes, please provide reason or reasons.

I'll give you a hint - I answered yes because they lived in the UK

I have had a dreadful experience with Procius, who were leading the screening process for my employment. The company is so fragmented that each department is unaware of what their colleagues are doing, even if they are working with the same candidate. Due to their incompetence, my start date has been delayed multiple times, resulting in a loss of earnings. I have contacted them every day to make sure I can speed up the process and confirm any queries they may have during my screening process. Unfortunately, the companies procedures are futile and employees incompetent, so delays perservere. I cannot understand why companies would outsource the screening of candidates to Procius unless they severely undercut all competition. Otherwise, they have absolutely zero merits. My deepest condolences for anyone who has the misfortune of dealing with Procius. I recommend taking up meditation/yoga to maintain your mental state during this infuriating time.

One of the most appalling customer service experiences I have EVER encountered - and I'm not alone in thinking this, every single one of my colleagues complained of their incompetence.

Firstly, not once did I ever receive a return phone call (just to point out, this was over a period of months with numerous attempts at contacting them, that I myself made). Whenever I would leave a message, as the person(s) dealing with my checks were not available at that time, the message was either not passed on or ignored completely.

There was no communication amongst themselves resulting in repeated requests via email for documents I had sent days sometimes weeks before.

I even made an attempt to file a formal complaint, sending this to numerous emails, and even this was ignored! I cannot fathom how a company so inept at performing such an important task has managed to remain in business. I truly find it astonishing.

I hope to NEVER have the displeasure of corresponding with this company ever again.

This company needs to be investigated by the fraud squad. There is no way it can be still in business after such diabolical services. Some form of under the table back handers going on somewhere..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

Honestly one of the worst professional experience of my life. No answer to my emails and call was given. I'm surprised that such a big companies are still using this guys for references system which is so sensitive part of the employment process. Really really disappointed.

Procius are incompetent. They have repeatedly requested the same information from me despite having supplied it several times and even after they acknowledged receiving it. I have complied with every request but the process is still on going after 4months. They don't reply to e mails and their behaviour is now verging on harassment. Appalling company.

Nearly lost my job!
Due to fact Procius does not even do the simple background checks!
Losing confidential paper work in the process,
they can't even do basic background checks.

second stage of checking they have not even started and made a formal complaint to my employer that I will not send confidential information to them.

I applied for a job at jet2. Way back in April. I was asked to pay 25.00 for my checks to be done by this shocking not fit for purpose company. Over the days I thought great. Moving quite ok. Over the weeks the process slowed to an almost stop. I made countless calls and emails. Chasing them. Again useless time wasted on the phone trying to get through.
Now the months went by. Right up to mid August. And the checks are still not right. By now my dbs had expired so had to pay more money I never had.
Now after this waiting. I am now facing the loss of the job I never started with jet2. And I put all blame on procius, the pass office and jet2. Who now want rid of me because the company the entrust to do the vetting has failed me. So well done procius. Be aware of the lot of them.

way too much information required for a simple crb check including questions that leave you open to fraud on an unsecured server will not be doing their "online profile" and if the company i work for sacks me they will be sued for every penny
