Humiliating and lengthy process when screening for a job. Asks for all personal information. Passport inf, Driving License Info, Bank Details, National Ins Number, Income and outgoings in times of none employment. 5-year employment check. References. HMRC Tax information. The process of checking your details can take well over a Month. I would never recommend using this service to any of my business contacts. Awful lengthy and dehumanising process

The process was quick and easy and they efficiently contacted my references and fed the information back. No issues as far as I am aware.

The team was supposed to complete my reference checks to start my role, however this was never accomplished by them and instead I was only cleared once my checks were taken away from them and brought in house with my new employer. The team caused me both financial and emotional stress from their incompetence. They never acknowledged this and did nothing to improve or support me even after I lodged a formal complaint. I ended up with 17 pushbacks overall and all of this was avoidable and unnecessary. They refused to communicate with my employer and due to not operating with case handlers assigned to a file no one ever had any understanding or prior context of my file. Every call required me to give them all of the information and context all over again only for each person I spoke with to have no clue what a resolution was and ask me the same questions I had already answered before.

This reached its worst when one of their team emailed me one thing whilst I was one the phone to someone else who told me something different.

I had a professional experience. Contacted and guided through process at the start which was appreciated.

Very easy to use. They tell you when something is not filled in properly. You can monitor the progress.

Procius Employment Screening Experts – This is the most unprofessional and utterly incompetent company I have ever come across. Please do not used them. They get pay for not doing nothing. Experts in nothing they can't even chase one reference.

Procius – This is the most unprofessional and utterly incompetent company I have ever come across in my 35 years working career. I do not understand why companies use them. This company is not fit for purpose. I provided them with all the documentation they asked for and because, of them my start date was delayed by 2 months.
I was working in recruitment at the time of this process so I know what is expected from the candidate and the reference checking company. We would never have treated candidates it is shocking manner. Procius just did not care or help me at all.
They do not answer emails for days and I spent serval days trying to get through on the phone with either no answer or the quickest they answered the phone was 1 hour 47 minutes!
I had to do all the chasing and even went to their offices to give in my documents to be told a few days later they had not received the documents!
My referees emailed and sent in the post my references and still they claimed they had not got them. My advice to anyone going through this company is do not hand in your notice until all of your reference has been cleared and you have it in writing to say so from Procious. I lost two months salary because of them.
This is not they way to treat people and it is unacceptable and unfair, they are messing with peoples’ lives.
I do think this is brand damaging to the companies that use Procius. I know of candidates who gave up and joined a different airline as they found the process with the referencing all too much and gave up. They do deserve one star and would of rather given them zero stars.

I have started my screening process in January and still not clear, I'm supposed to start the 24th of May and I still don't have the confirmation from Procius, documents been sent several times and everytime I call they say they are going to send my profile to an agent to look into it. I spoke last week with one of the Agents, his name was Alan I have never met someone so rude, I was trying to explain my situation and all he was saying was if I didn't let him speak he would hang up on me, literally after waiting 1H and 45m he was threatening me by hanging up. He said he was going send the documents to BA to see if it can be approved and will get in touch with me, never heard anything back. Called again and an other agent replied by you already spoke to Alan and said we are waiting. I have been waiting 3 weeks for one bloody document, the university have sent the reference twice and they say they haven't received anything, I have received a copy both times but procius "cannot" find it.

I paid my accommodation a couple of days ago and because of their incompetence I am going to lose the money as the agency doesn't refund. I have been waiting since October for this job and Procius had 5 months to have everything ready but they didn't, they literally left everything to the last minute. This is unacceptable and unfair, I have been writing all my old jobs so they can send everything on time but procius didn't update anything. I don't want to he pushed back I waited way too long and I already quit my previous job, what I am supposed to do now?

When you call them they don't help when you send emails they don't reply. What kind of joke is this?

Terrible company.
My airline used these . I had to do all the leg work and call to get them to update my file. Calling you hold for anything from 45 mins to 3 hours. Every call I’d double check are all the other documents in order but of course at the last minute these would be incomplete. I’m now looking I to setting my own company there has to be a reason these people are so stupid. My 12 year old could do this better.

This company is not fit for purpose. Utterly incompetent. I provided 2 referees as directed; both referees have returned their references 3 times!!! yet this company states they have not received them. When you call their phone rings off the hook, your emails to them remain unanswered. If you do get through you never speak to the same person & they make promises they never keep. Your reference never updates unless you call them & plead with them to act, its unbearable. I feel like giving up. They are denying me the opportunity to work! EMPLOYERS PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT.

Absolute shambles of a company.

No emails answered, calls ignored, unbelievably slow.

This company needs to be investigated. Absolute disgrace of an organisation.

Constant conflicting information. Everytime you speack with a different persons its a different requirement. Awful to get in contact. Emails not replied. Cant understand why anyone would want to use this company at all. TERRIBLE!

Procius helped me secure my dream job - I have read the reviews and it is unfair they get criticised as they do not set the complex rules and standards! The reason they do what they do is to ensure employers and regulated industries are not placed at risk. If you go through checks with them make sure you tell them everything to avoid issues!

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT go through this joke of a company if you can help it. The only reason I had to deal with them was because my employer uses them.

Impossible to get through to someone when calling, emails are either ignored or take days to get responded too, you can never speak with a specific person regarding your query and instead you need to repeat yourself constantly.
