I was to sail September 12. to the 19. to Greenland Disko Bay and Beyond. I was at the Airport in Copenhagen Terminal 2 on the 12. of September at 4:30 am with the intend to check in at at the Air Greenland counter to fly to Greenland and board the Ocean Albatros, which I sailed in March 2026 to Antarctica. I was not able to find the Air Greenland Counter nor any staff members to help me with the check in procedure. I made several calls to the phone numbers provided on the travel documents, but no one answered. I do not have any incoming call logs indicating that someone from your organization made any attemt to reach out to me to nor did I hear my name to becall over the PA system.

j'essaye de joindre Polartours de façon urgente depuis 5 jours (premier contact le 18 septembre 2026, on est le 22) à cause d'un changement de vol retour une fois le bateau de retour à quai à Ushuaia. J'ai besoin de leur conseil pour approuver (ou non) ce changement de vol. Aucun moyen de les joindre (mail sans réponse, lignes téléphoniques sans réponse). C'est très inquiétant et très désagréable.

Our experience with Polar Tours was great. Everyone we communicated with was prompt, efficient, and friendly. They answered all questions and offered needed guidance in a timely manner. Our trip aboard the Rembrandt van Rijn was amazing! It ticked all the arctic boxes and every day was awe inspiring! Sailing aboard the Rembrandt was a fun and unique experience.

Celia helped prepare us in a perfect way for the voyage. Her guidance was crucial leading up to the trip.

The landscape, the ship, the crew and the outstanding quality of the guides. The guides were extremely learned and experienced, and were permanently searching for more excellent experiences.
The only slight pitfall was the lack of information on the morning of departure about when the whole group would come together. Reality did not match the written information previously received

PolarTours is by far, the best Arctic and Antarctica expedition company I have ever come across in 46 years of handling travel. My husband is thrilled to be going to Greenland soon, after having returned from Antarctica this March 2026. Bruna and Celia are extraordinary agents.

We had the most fabulous trip on Rembrant Van Rjn. All the crew on board from the Captain and his crew to the guides under Geordie but not least the fabulous Christina and her great chef were simply the best!
Every member of the crew were welcoming, friendly, informative and helpful- they could not have done more. Geordie has a great affinity with the older sail ships being the most enthusiastic guide, full of experience, knowledge and adaptability. We had some great hikes in remote places seeing stacks of birds, some foxes as well as plenty of glaciers. The glaciers were a major highlight especially when we patrolled the fast ice on board and in the zodiac.

Die Auskünfte waren sehr professionell und so genau, dass wir innerhalb von kürzester Zeit meine doch etwas speziellen Wünsche klären konnten und ich für die Antarktisreise eine Reservierung platzieren konnte. Genau die Kabinen auf genau dem Schiff, welches ich wollte… Ich bin begeistert!

I went on an Antarctic cruise with Polartours, and it was truly an unforgettable and perfect experience. From the very beginning, the communication with the company was excellent — Celia and Bruna answered all my questions and concerns, guided me through the entire formal process, and additionally helped with organizational matters (such as choosing insurance), for which I’m very grateful. It’s very likely that without such great communication and quick responses, I wouldn’t have decided to go on this trip.

The entire expedition went exactly as it had been presented to me. I have absolutely no complaints — there were no issues with the guaranteed hotel, luggage storage before the cruise, transportation to the ship, or the organization of the entire expedition.

I sincerely recommend traveling with this company to anyone who dreams of a smooth, trouble-free, and truly amazing experience :-)

First time going to Antarctica. Polarours specifically Celia was amazing at helping me choose the right boat. I chose the ultramarine and had the most beautiful experience with the 7th continent. I booked my Antarctica trip through PolarTours and I’m very grateful to Bruna and Celia for all their help throughout the booking process. Communication with them was generally great, they were very responsive, helpful and easy to reach whenever I had questions. They were even available by phone around Christmas time, including on Christmas Eve, which I really appreciated.

I do have to admit that at the very beginning I briefly wondered if it might be a scam. PolarTours is a relatively young company and I couldn’t find as many reviews as for some other companies, which made me a bit cautious at first. On the website it also mentioned that we would have a few days to make the payment after the reservation confirmation, but then on the same day I received several calls and emails saying that I needed to pay immediately because it was the last cabin available. At the time that made me a bit nervous, but in the end it actually turned out to be a good thing because we didn’t lose the cabin.

Overall, everything worked out really well and the whole trip was fantastic, so I’m very happy that I booked through PolarTours.

She provided me with all the paperwork and information I needed. She kept me up-to-date on the checklist of forms that needed to be completed. C’était la plus belle expérience de ma vie. Les paysages sont extraordinaires et incomparables, nous avons vu de nombreuses baleines, pingouins, phoques. Le bateau Océan victory est très confortable. Peu de remous même en mer agitée lors du Drak. Service à bord impeccable, tout le monde est au petits soins et restauration au top. L’équipe a prévu de nombreuses activités et toujours la pour répondre à vos questions. Une histoire que nous n’aurions pas pu vivre sans le dévouement de Celia Smith et sa persévérance à nous trouver une cabine de rêve en dernière minute! Nous ferons tout pour refaire cette croisière des que possible.
