I've always had fantastic plants from this small business. I seriously have nothing I could complain about.

I was reading through some of the other reviews and at least one has to be a fake one or maybe some kind of joke because last time I checked root rot isn't contagious lol it can't pass from plant to plant. Root rot is caused by over watering. If you had one with rot from a business you've had one, it absolutely cant 'spread' lol

Anyway, I have no complaints. Always great plants, shipped on time and in great protective packaging.

I have ALWAYS had amazing service and plants from A Plant Prescription. Any review that says otherwise is just flat out lying.
The owner runs the shop (both on line and brick and mortar) 100% by himself and is closed on Tuesdays (to *gasp* have some personal time and package his on line orders) so he may take a couple of hours to respond, but he always does and even better, always works to find a fair solution.
I have NEVER seen a single person who has had a probelm that has not been solved, which is why I wholeheartedly recommend this shop to any and every one.

Received my second monstera after the first had root rot, which spread to several of my plants that have since had to been binned. Waited more than 2 weeks for a replacement only to be disappointed further.

My new one has arrived damaged with a low variegation and very poorly potted.

Extremely disappointed as my few orders of smaller plants were fantastic.

Is root rot contagious? Unfortunately yes, root rot can be transferred from one plant to another. The fungal spores are airborne and can also be transported by insects as well as dirty gardening tools.

I purchased a variegated monstera from Plant prescription. They were very friendly in the shop, but less than a week after taking the plant home it was developing blotches on its leaves.
I have one other large monstera which I've kept healthy for years but this plant was sickly almost from the beginning.
After contacting the company, to their credit they fully apologised and offered to replace the plant with a new healthy specimen. They explained this was a one-off problem caused by their growers.
Despite this, I had a great experience at this store - they are very knowledgable and helpful with houseplants and I would return and shop here again.

I paid for next day delivery at checkout and didn't get a confirmation email, after several days I contacted the store and eventually got my plants over a week later, with no refund on 'next day' shipping. Fortunately the plants were immaculate or this rating would be lower.

I ordered a variegated monstera back in August when plant pres. had that deal. Shortly after it arrived (which was not next day like it says, btw, just call it delivery fee if it's not next day) the plant started rotting. I repotted it and found loads of slimy and rotten roots that I then treated. A friend of mine who'd ordered the same plant at the same time had the same experience. I contacted plant pres on 21/08. I was told on 02/09 (friday) that I'll hear back regarding some kind of refund or replacement on Monday (05/09). I haven't been contacted since. My friend who'd also had the same issue, and likewise contacted them about it has already received a partial refund a couple weeks ago. I'm a bit tired of waiting with the slow communication and am deeply disappointed. The plant was 60 quid (inc postage) so really not cheap and has been nothing but a nightmare. I regret buying it. I was going to wait until the matter was fully resolved before leaving a review but it's been a slow process and I've been previously left on read with my concerns not replied to, so I've reached the end of my patience. The final straw was seeing that the rot has spread to some of my other plants.

Overall experience was excellent, the plant was packed very well and arrived without any damage. The plant is beautiful so in total I am very happy with my purchase and I love my new philodendron.

I’ve ordered multiple times from A Plant Prescription and each time I’ve been blown away by how amazing the plants have been. They’re always bigger than I expect and so healthy and lush. The prices are mind bogglingly good, almost always cheaper than other places and delivery is always fast. Plants are always well packaged and adjust quickly once unpacked. I honestly can’t recommend them enough

Ordered a variegated monstera for pre-order after i missed them selling out! It arrived a couple weeks later and i am so happy with my purchase! One leaf was ripped slightly but it is still very healthy. Such good price to!
