great service,clear explanation and timely communication

I have been with this company for over 8 years now, and the service has been consistently outstanding. The team is professional, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to provide support and guidance. I truly value their reliability and commitment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others looking for high quality insurance services.

We had been using them as brokers to insure our company for several years in a row, so they were ok when they didn't have to do much other than send us the renewal papers and get free money. After the one time we had a delay and did not renew on time, it was impossible to get anything done from them. I kept emailing and calling them, sometimes they were replying and most of the times not, but end result was the same: nothing done and disappearing, never to reply to any emails again. Imagine if we had not been their customer for years in a row!
I suggest you look elsewhere to find a serious and professional broker. You cannot rely on them. Not sure how they are still in business with so many people mentioning the same repeating pattern in reviews, that they don't get back to you.

Our account manager has a very good understanding of our sector and is very responsive to our needs.

Policy Cancellation Nightmare - Lack of Communication and Business Interruption

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with RSA/NIG regarding the cancellation of my Motor Trade Policy NM006484920. This entire process has been a nightmare, characterized by a severe lack of transparency, internal communication failures, and significant negative impact on my business, Auto Oasis Ltd.

My policy was abruptly cancelled via a letter dated July 16, 2025, citing only "General Condition 5" and stating they "no longer wish to provide cover." This vague explanation has been completely unhelpful.

Since then, I have been in a constant loop of trying to get a clear reason. Their helpdesk initially suggested an unsigned credit agreement was the cause, which I promptly addressed. However, I never received confirmation of this resolution. To make matters worse, my insurance broker, PIB Insurance Brokers Limited, had no knowledge of the specific cancellation reasons, and even RSA's own helpdesk, upon further inquiry, seemed completely unaware of the details. This clearly indicates a major internal communication breakdown within their organization.

Despite the policy being cancelled, payments continue to be debited from my account, and the credit agreement remains active, which is unacceptable.

The most critical issue is that without a clear, documented reason for cancellation and my no-claims bonus information, I am unable to obtain new insurance quotes. This has effectively held my business hostage, causing immense stress and severe business interruption, leading to serious operational and financial issues.

I formally lodged a complaint, and they promised a response within three business days, but this deadline has also passed without any communication.

This experience has been incredibly stressful and damaging. I urge anyone considering RSA/NIG to be aware of their poor communication, lack of clarity, and the potential for significant business disruption if issues arise.

PIB have provided our Professional Indemnity Insurance for several years - with no problems and at competitive rates and provided excellent service, advice and back up as required.

Excellent service, very experienced and always looking for best value (we are a charity), responsive and friendly, it is a pleasure to work with them.

Used this company 2 years in a row. I had to leave this company this year giving me quotation 4 hrs prior to renewal. This did same last year only gave me quotation 2 days prior.
Now it’s been over a month since I left them. And I haven’t received my no claim discount

Always receive excellent service from Julian Cawthorne and Rebecca Atkins and the undersatnd our busines and therefore our insurance needs and are diligent in researching the market to get us the best deal.

Reasonable price for the policy. Staff were extremely on the ball with emails and paperwork. Certificates were issued quickly. All ☎️ calls answered promptly

The person I dealt with (Janice Fong) was extremely helpful and polite as well as being very knowledgeable about the products. She helped and guided me through the system and it was a pleasure to deal with her. In a previous year I had a similar experience with a lady called Jaki Ainsworth. Both persons are a credit to the company for customer relations.

These guys are really professional, efficient and find great prices too.

This place is just a joke, I’ve been trying for a week for a quote for insurance and they just keep promising emails and phone calls back and I didn’t get ONE call or email, what a waste of time, I called them multiple times a day Monday to Thursday and just kept getting fobbed off, if you don’t want to quote JUST SAY! Waste of time

Calling the main number just elicits a response that it is the wrong department, there are a lot of individuals working there and there process is to pass customers from one person to another. Unfortunately, don’t receive call back as agreed. Gave up at the end.
