Subscription trap
I signed up for a one-time assessment (€3.49). At no point was it clearly communicated that this would turn into a paid subscription.
A few days later, €16.99 was charged automatically without a clear warning, without an explicit opt-in, and without any confirmation email or subscription details. I never received terms, renewal information, or proper notice of a recurring payment.
This kind of practice is misleading and not transparent. A legitimate subscription requires clear consent and confirmation, which did not happen here.
I have canceled immediately and requested a refund. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before entering any payment details.

I'm sorry to hear that the payment did not proceed as you had expected. You authorized us for future payments by paying for the trial period. You may not have seen this, or you may have overlooked it, but you could have prevented the payment by cancelling your subscription during the 7-day trial period. We explicitly mention all this on our checkout page and pricing page.
I've provided you with the link to the pricing page and shown you screenshots where we repeatedly indicate that your subscription will become monthly if it's not canceled within the trial period.

In-depth and intelligent!
The service is detailed in a way that doctors rarely are. What I learned helped me talk to my doctor and make better sense of my symptoms. I'm not able to follow the exercises given on the site at this time because of other restrictions but I look forward to getting back to it when my other issues are healed.

Good so far
Good so far. I took the quiz, paid to get the results. Now i have the app. When you join on a laptop/desktop, it's not obvious that you need the app to see the exercises.
i've done all the exercies as directed two days in a row and already feel some improvement. I suspect I'll pay to have the first month (£16.99 more) but if i'm ok, then I'll quit at that point.

Predatory auto-renew subscription of 12.99 a month
as others have mentioned this is a company that has ruined what is a good product (computer generated physio diagnosis) by tying into a predatory, non-transparent 'scamscription' model. They ask you to pay a one off fee for the diagnosis, but then rely on you inadvertently agreeing to a 12.99 monthly fee. The billing on paypal is also in the name of "hierhebikpijn.nl B.V." rather than physiocheck so it's hard to spot.
Such a shame, they genuinely have a good product but they ruin it with this.

It's true that the charges are being debited under the name 'hierhebikpijn' . Our head office and payment provider are located in the Netherlands. We've requested this change several times, but unfortunately, this isn't possible.
