100% would recommend this to anyone, instructors are extremely patient, adaptable and caring to all the students, they help you to understand your limit and how to push past it. Extremely motivational and part of what makes me enjoy Phoenix so much 😀

Phoenix is a great place to train, it’s like a family. I was made to feel welcome at the sale and it was a fun relaxed atmosphere to browse. Staff there to ask questions and process orders and payments. Went like clockwork.

My son started at phoenix martial arts Knottingley in April and his confidence has increased tenfold. Before he started karate here he was very shy and used to hide behind me when meeting new people. He has grown into confident young man not afraid to share his opinions. His younger sister who is completely his opposite in confidence joined in July and her behaviour and discipline have become a trait we can be proud of. Where she lacked self discipline and didn't listen she is now set on the right track thanks to the amazing people who form the team of instructors at phoenix Knottingley. There is excellent dojo facilities with plenty of room for spectators and the coffee machines offer a good cup of hot chocolate at a reasonable price. All in all an excellent martial arts club.

Love the personal touch provided by all who work here.
They teach good values as well as skills for life.

I started at Phoenix Knottingley a few months back and am loving it! I've always not been keen on exercising due to self motivation, doing this is just as much fun as it is exercise. The motivation others give you, friendships and overall atmosphere is amazing, I can't imagine not going now.

My 9 year old son has been attending for over 3 years now. His confidence has grown so much since starting his martial arts journey. He absolutely loves training, the instructors are the best and will help in anyway they can, even with anything outside of the academy (school,bullying etc.). He's already planning reaching Black belt in karate before moving onto kick boxing.

The patience and professionalism of the instructors is a amazing. Always find time to listen and encourage whether you are a black belt or its your first ever lesson.
This is not just a martial arts academy this is a family with every body always willing to help every body else. I would recommend anybody that wishes to get fit, learn discipline, make good friends and have loads of fun along the way to join this family.

Kids absolutely love attending kickboxing sessions at Pheonix Martial Arts! Staff are friendly and helpful and always understanding of personal circumstances.

My daughter is 5 years old and joined up in September and it’s been the best thing she’s ever done. Her confidence and concentration has improved massively in such a short period of time.
The coaches are amazing and caring with the children and I would highly recommend them. Lovely environment every time we go. 5 stars !!

I’ve never aches so much in my life though, gone from as sedentary as a person could possible be to the most active I’ve been since highschool - but loving it!

When my daughter and i first went to phoenixmartialarts for a taster night my daughter fell in love staight away after the hour session we signed up it was very easy and straight forward she is 15 but trains with adults they all make her welcome and the trainers are very watchful and caring in her few lessons she over heated but they took excellent care of her now after 8 lessons she is eager for each week to come around i would recommend parents take there young children along theres all different age groups it keeps them fit and also teaches them self defence Frank

Have taken my son here since 2019. Good for his fitness, self belief and general well-being.

A really good environment for children to learn self defence skills and grow in confidence. Instructors are friendly and positive.

Both of our children (7 year old girl and 6 year old boy) are part of Phoenix Martial Arts. It has given them both such a confidence in all walks of life, they are both excelling at school and in other activities such as dance, swimming and other sports which we put down to the confidence and discipline they have built from Phoenix Martial Arts. They love attending their sessions, and without prompt continue to work on their skill and fitness at home. I would recommend Phoenix Martial Arts to anyone looking to build their own or their childrens fitness, skills or confidence. It is also reassuring knowing our children are developing skills they can utilise to protect themselves and others if ever required. The skills they are developing are not just physical, but also good attributes to help them grow into good people.
