It’s apparent there is a clear divide between the service private users get to the service and treatment families receive who rent their properties.
Yet the chances are my rent is more than a mortgage and i too work full time 6 days a week, i and my child matter as much as anybody else.
After three visits I’ve come to run a bath, the basic of needs and not much of an ask to have running hot water? And again the water is freezing cold.
So why isn’t my boiler being fixed to last? New parts have been replaced yet every couple of weeks it breaks down and we can’t enjoy our weekend plans.
I have a weakened away planned which is a very rare treat, and I can’t bathe and wash my hair to get ready. My son can’t wash ahead of going to his Nans.
5 star ratings from private customers. 1 star from renters? I’d be interested to know what this company is paid by Housing Plus Group? They must be malign a fortune off their backs yet give us a poor service as though we are scum of society.
Us renters we are skilled staff like you are, NHS nurses, farmers, mechanics, post office employees, carers, council employees, drivers. We matter too!!!!!

Failed to attend second appointment by pheonix engineer today , despite a text at 9.00am saying engineer was on way to us
Rang them at 1.40 pm to be told firstly we where not booked in for today
Then made excuse saying an engineer had attended and put a card through
This is a complete lie as we have looked out front every car door we have heard , and both being smokers have been smoking out front to watch for the supposed engineer
A complaint has been forwarded to our landlords whom employ these failures
As a failure in duty of care towards tennents
If roles where reversed our door would come off to allow access
Absolute shambles

Brilliant, had a different company fix my tank few months ago they didn't fix it. Then these guys came fixed it right and now my oil tank doesn't leak very friendly explain what they have done so you know. Great company thank you
Gas boiler serviced 23/5/23. Engineer arrived within the agreed timescale and was very pleasant and efficient. Even showed me how to adjust the heat temperature flow to the radiators.
Easy to make appointments and always very accommodating. Staff very pleasant.
Overall very pleased with the service provided.
Phoenix conducted a large and complex job with great professionalism. Serious issues with the initial survey (conducted by another company) were addressed with minimum hassle. The work was completed to a high standard and there was good communication with the office to ensure that issues were managed effectively. I strongly recommend their work

These bunch of clowns are a joke.
I'm stuck with them because they sub contract to the housing association I rent from.
Waiting since beginning of March for them to repair heating.
Its now mid May.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Incompetent.

Our solar panels were completed on time and efficiently, however, the highlight for us has been really great customer service. Phoenix have been proactive in their communication with us throughout the install process and we also have received really good after installation service when we rang about some noise from the solar panels (engineer sent out 2-3 hours after calling to check the issue). Would be happy to use again in future should we need further work / maintenance undertaking.
From start to finish, what a great service, Quote done swiftly, design explained professionally, Scaffold went up on time and as planned, installers where polite and got on with the job, job complete to a very high standard and the whole system explained, great communication throughout the full process

Friendly engineer who explained exactly what he would do before he started. Repair was completed and sorted within an hour! I now have heating and hot water again! Thank you Phoenix Gas!

Lovely engineer who knew what was up with my boiler straight away.

I wrote a review for this company on 1/3/23. The response received from the company on this forum is completely fictional and i have emailed to tell them so. I had an am appt given to me, no engineer called, i was home, i had no missed calls from him! Fo not use.

If you want your boiler installed efficiently and hassle-free then do NOT use this company!
The engineer was rushing to get the job done quickly.
I felt it was all about the money and not about quality workmanship. He even spoke about competing with a colleague in regards to this.
The gas engineer caused a major gas leak due to not using the correct protective equipment. Cadent said it was a schoolboy error. We were also told the boiler could not be moved into the loft and had to stay in the same place which was incorrect. The radiators did not heat through so another gas engineer had to return at a later date to install the correct pipework.
When we rung to complain about the above, there was no apology and felt utterly patronised.

This is a poor operation,1st letter for boiler service did not turn up,2nd letter they came a day early after 2 phone calls, finally boiler serviced, rugby council need to look into this complaint and act on it

I have been trying to get a boiler quote . Rung 4 times . Put on hold . Said they would ring back . Did not . Well if this is the start process I will take my business elsewhere . Very poor

Phoenix Gas have been Absolutely Brilliant! Our old boiler broke & leaked through our kitchen ceiling! So we looked around for the best deal on a new Vaillant boiler. Trevor came out to give us the best price quote and the next week Mick & Lee fitted it professionally & hassle free! We highly recommend this company. Thanks a lot Team, we're very happy!

Not really worthy of any stars.
We were due to have solar panels installed today by Phonenix but received a phone call at 8.30 am to say they had cancelled.
Phonenix are not interested in customer satisfaction. Even their area manager ignores emails sent to him trying to resolve the matter.
We had no say in selecting this installation company (the work was outsourced by EON) but if you do have a choice, avoid Phonenix!
