Truly awful company
Iven been waiting since September for a small part to installed on my heat pump. I think waiting 6 months is much too long. No updates for Phoenix and no idea if this will ever get resolved.
The tell me that its on order!!!! Is it coming from Mars!!
If you want a company that provides dreadful to none customer service use Phoenix

The reply below is not true. Ive had no contact from the company or the manager whatsoever. this is now 2 1/2 years since the initial installation, which is unacceptable under any circumstances. I recently had an inspection from E.ON. Their plumber went to the local DIY supplies shop, bought the part and fitted it to the bottom of the unit. Something Phoenix were unable to do in two and a half years!

Signed contract for installation of gas boiler, told given a date within 2 weeks. Had to ring after 3 weeks to be told not installing gas until late 2023. Asked to speak to Manager was told they would be back within 14 days, five weeks ago - still waiting on call. Very poor customer service by management. Double-check everything before you sign.

Had a new boiler fitted on Thursday, by Monday it had stopped working and because it's a bank holiday I'm in limbo, been waiting several hours for an engineer to phone...
I had a letter sent to me for an appointment for Monday 8th November at 9am. Unfortunately I got called into work and had to leave immediately. I called and explained and my appointment was rearranged for Monday 15th November and I was given the afternoon slot. I took the afternoon off work unpaid for this as I know it’s important that I allow access. It got to 4pm and no one had showed up so I called again just to query how long I would have to wait to be told my appointment had been changed for Thursday 18th November?! The person I spoke to told me it had been changed to this on Saturday 13th November. I hadn’t been told about this change and he couldn’t see that I had been contacted either. I couldn’t do this date due to work and I have to give notice. We then changed the appointment for Monday 22nd November which to confirm is fine but I don’t appreciate the fact I received a card this evening at 17:56 to say to say that I failed to give access to my property?!! So are Phoenix just telling engineers to go to peoples homes even though firstly wasn’t told about the appointment and secondly that I couldn’t do this one? Absolutely awful company. The only plus is the person I spoke to on Monday was lovely and very helpful. I have wrote a complaint email as your office is now closed so would appreciate someone to respond to this.
Hello, I have just had a service engineer out to look at my Central heating system, I am a tenant of SSHA. I wish to let you know that Colin the engineer did the job impeccably ,from the word go, he obliged to my request CovidS sensitive application,he was very considerate, Friendly, positive and clear explanation of the gas system,Most professional and explicit good manners, work done and I have gained knowledge as to how my system works, Thank you Colin you are Excellent at your Job, congratulations Phoenix on having a First class engineer in Colin representing your company, Sincere Good wishes to your future .Judith Rogers, 25A Moatbrook Avenue, Codsall.South Staffs.
Old cylinder and tank system removed...Logic combi fitted by Mick, Only four star, but I give Mick 5 star, Mick was very helpful and professional on a very difficult changeover one system to another...Nothing was too much trouble for Mick. Mick went the extra mile when difficulty arose...The only reason for 4stars is that old electrical wires had been snipped and left untaped and unidentified.Also the old thermostat left in place and a few other things, I thought the agreement was to remove the old system entirely, but hey-ho a good job done nevertheless...

If you want to use is terrible company I recommend you record the vist on your phone , like I wish I had done when made out to look a lier ,when they left me with a leaking gas safety valve, even my local councillor was in shock ,wish companies could be honest with their customers rather than blaming it on this or that ,dont expect an apology either, I could have ended up dead due to their incompetence.!! Not even a sorry ,that shows lack of care it's all about the money "shock horror kirsty @Phoenix this review was about your investigation if I wrote the workmanship on here your be on the local news ,so no knowledge of the terminal disabled person that your company made to look a lier via your senior management, you been caught out plain and simple, but liers always do sadly!! Oh almost forgot to add when your engineer walked mud into my house all up the stairs and over my fresh sheets on my bed ,your management said it's my fault because I never asked him to wear shoe covers, I cryed that day believe you me ,it was like having burglars in the house no care or regard of a person's house .I'm sure you do remember the boiler and gas fire service in under 20 minutes ,dont blame it's the company in Ireland either, that's just passing the buck and clutching at straws, if I have to write a review a week for rest of my life i will

Friday evening our boiler started overheating when you turn on the hot water tap, you get no hot water and the temperature gauge goes all the way up to U9 and the boiler then cuts out. I tried for hours resetting the boiler, switching off at the mains with no joy. Being a housing association tenant, I rang their emergency number and it was 30 mins plus before I got an answer. Nearly 6 hours to arrive and during that time the boiler started working again. Engineer stated if he had of known it had started working again he wouldn't have come out. Shortly after the engineer left, the boiler started overheating and cutting out again. It's now Sunday evening and we've had no hot water since Saturday evening. My mother is 76 and is a very vulnerable person. Damn despicable organisation and being a housing association tenant we have no choice.

Despite trying to change an appointment for my yearly gas service due to only being given 5 days notice, including the weekend, and I work and couldn't get time off. Then explaining that I was going on holiday and giving Phoenix the date of my return to rearrange another appointment, the very impolite and unhelpful lady on the phone informed me that the engineer would still call and put a card through my door stating that the engineer couldn't gain access. This they did telling me they will send a further appointment out and then I could face legal action. LANDLORDS BEWARE. Terrible service. People do work and DO deserve a holiday.
*Phoenix did reply to my review! I tried to arrange an alternative appointment well before the 32 days deadline but was told I couldn't arrange an appointment for 3 weeks in advance as I was requesting. I rang Rugby Borough council as soon as I got off of the phone from Phoenix and explained to them the situation/conversation and gave them the same available dates. They have put all the information on to my file and couldn't understand why an engineer should be sent out when I have notified Phoenix I wouldn't be in. They are now looking into this.

Worst company ever, COWBOYS AVOID!!!
The plumbers are great , did a good job. One radiator still leaking after supposedly being fixed. Wont have any communication what so ever with the occupants of the home. Constantly claim theres been a miscommunication even though I've not been able to speak to anyone. Claim the job is finished even though it is clearly NOT!!! Engineers not turning up til gone 10am, claim its travelling time... Builders turn up 11.45, take a look then announce its dinner time! I would not employ this company to load my dishwasher!!! Save your money an go elsewhere...RUBBISH!

Very pleased with what they did, everything was excellent. Cleaned up after themselves and very pleasant!
Horrendous, with terrible aftercare.
Left me with a boiler wired up to an upstairs light circuit even though at the time they fitted my boiler my kitchen ceiling was knocked out and there was a simple route through from the loft down the wall straight to the boiler switch on the original mains board, the one they removed was wired on its own circuit to the mains! It now keeps tripping. Wouldn’t rectify to the standards I would like. Insidental finding that they had done this wrong was when I had all my kitchen re-boarded & re-plastered and it tripped the lights and the boiler also went off. Went to investigate to find boiler on light circuit! Offered to re-do but on their terms and how they want to route the main wire outside round my external walls with horrible casing on and drilling into my new kitchen, leave it looking like an eye sore rather than the way I expected it had been done. Allowing them to do it their way would mess up work have already had done to get my house how I would like it! Apparently although they themselves accept it is bad practice what they have done, they tell me it’s not illegal. Therefore I either have them fix it their way or I’m stuck with it being wired up badly! Also to add had a call from a mobile number a couple months back l saying that they would get manager to call me again to discuss & see if there was anything else they could do but never did! Go else where, I don’t recommend!

We had a combi boiler installed from phoenix Gas which took two days as this included the removal of the old condenser boiler and water tank. The two gas engineers that carried out the work were brilliant and made no mess at all.
They were very polite and professional, we do definitely recommend Phoenix Gas for price, quality and excellent service.

Although ultimately i did not use Phoenix, that is no reflection of the excellent service I have received from them! The boiler at home packed up (January) and after a quick google, i contacted Phoenix and they had a rep around with 24 hours. Ryan was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. No hard sell, just straight sensible advice. The quote was available within an hour and it was better than i had anticipated. They confirmed that it could be fitted within 5-8 days. I received a follow up call to check i was happy. Decent company to deal with. I chose a local installer however, he was slightly cheaper but ultimately he could turn the job around a lot sooner which was my priority due to the time of year the boiler had failed.
Very prompt reliable service. The installers were very Covid sensitive and considerate.
The work was completed on time, a minor hitch was immediately sorted without hassle.
We highly recommend this company.

Excellent service from start to finish. The office staff were very friendly and helpful, thank you ladies. The survey was done promptly and the engineer arrived on time as arranged the follow week. All my carpets were protected and they got on with their work. Very polite and helpful, all the mess was cleaned up. I would recommend Phoenix Gas to anyone. Thank you.

Due to our boiler braking down we asked a couple of engineers to call to give an estimate . Several said they had no boilers in stock and another said it would be next year. As we had no hearing or hot water we wanted to use a reliable firm who would come out quickly to resolve our problem. From ringing Phoenix Gas they arrived the next day, explained the problem, provided an immediate quotation and we set the date for installation. I had curtesy calls during the week and the day before the engineers came. When they arrived they were smartly presented and prepared the house with floor and table coverings to protect our home. They installed the boiler within the 2 day time frame advised, they cleared up any mess and left the house clean and tidy. As soon as it was completed we were given full operating instructions and courtesy calls the following day and week later. Excellent service and workmanship. Thank you.
