Clothes are great production and shipping take a long time and there were additional tariffs to ship to USA. they are very responsive to emails but do not initiate communication. Will definitely order from them again.

Ordered a wedding suit — never received it. 90+ business days late.

Perte's website promised 20-25 business days for this item. I'm at 90+ business days and counting, with no suit delivered.

A wedding suit isn't like ordinary merchandise — it has one use date. Receiving it after the wedding is as pointless as getting the cake or the bride's dress after the ceremony already happened. Perte's failure to deliver on time meant I had no suit for my own wedding.

I purchased based on the timeline stated on the item page. That timeline was false. When I followed up, customer service gave me another date (the 23rd) that also came and went with nothing delivered.

This isn't a case of a customer canceling on a whim — I paid, I waited well past their own stated window, and I still have nothing to show for it. The company didn't hold up its end of the transaction. If they won't acknowledge that, it says everything about how they treat customers who trusted their advertised timelines.

Very disappointing experience. I contacted the company before placing my order to confirm whether the shirt would arrive by the a certain date and was specifically assured that it would. I relied on that information and placed the order, only for the shirt to arrive a week late.

What made it worse was the complete lack of communication. I was corresponding with them right up until a few days before the expected delivery date, when they suddenly stopped responding, leaving me completely in the dark.

If they had simply been honest and told me it wouldn’t arrive in time, I never would have ordered it. Poor communication, misleading assurances and an incredibly frustrating experience.

Wouldn’t recommend at all.

This is a total scam. I ordered a suite for my wedding on July 31th 2026. I did not receive any communication during the 20 business day window.

I reached out to support and was told they needed another 30 days to complete the order.

I went back and forth as well as giving them the extended time but was told at the end of the extension that they needed even more time.

At this point it will not be here even remotely close to on time for my wedding.

I asked for any proof the product even exist and the support team just flat out ignored my request.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY ITS A SCAM

I placed an order for three items on 22 August 2026. Every single item was clearly advertised on the Perte D’Ego website as “READY TO SHIP”.

Nearly four weeks later, nothing has been shipped.

What has made the experience particularly poor is the series of explanations I have received from the company.

On 26 August, I was told their fulfilment timeline was 2–3 business days and that tracking would be provided once the order was ready.

When that timeframe passed, I followed up. I was then told the order was “currently in production”.

I pointed out that all three items I purchased were advertised as “ready to ship”. After initially failing to address this, they eventually acknowledged that the items were indeed listed as ready to ship, while simultaneously telling me that “production is slightly delayed”.

Those two things simply do not reconcile.

I continued to follow up and was repeatedly given apologies and promises of further updates, but no shipment.

Now, almost four weeks after ordering, I have been told there has been a “large volume of orders” and that it will take ANOTHER 4–5 business days to fulfil my order.

If an item still needs to be produced or fulfilled weeks after it has been purchased, it is not “ready to ship”.

I have now requested that the entire order be cancelled and refunded.

For a customer, the issue here goes well beyond a simple shipping delay. It is the discrepancy between how these products were represented at the point of sale and what has actually occurred afterwards, compounded by weeks of conflicting explanations from customer service.

A thoroughly disappointing experience.

Honestly one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had in a long time.

I ordered from Perte D’ego on July 20 specifically because I wanted to take the pieces with me on my summer vacation. I knew they were made to order and that the website mentioned around 15 to 20 days, so I obviously wasn’t expecting next-day delivery. But my order arrived on September 9. That is 51 days after I placed the order.

By that point my vacation had already started, so the whole reason I ordered the clothes in the first place was gone. I live in Germany, and by the time I’m back these are basically clothes I’ll have to wait until next summer to properly wear.

What makes the experience even more frustrating is that on the SAME DAY I ordered, I realised I had forgotten to use their 15% new customer discount. I emailed them immediately and asked whether they could either cancel the order so I could reorder with the code, refund the difference, or offer some kind of credit. They simply referred to their “very strict cancellation policy”.

What I find especially ridiculous is that they are apparently extremely strict when it comes to customers cancelling an order, even on the very first day, but there seems to be much less urgency when it comes to actually sending that order within anything close to the stated timeframe. If you are going to enforce such a strict cancellation policy, then at the very least your own fulfilment process should be reliable enough to justify it. Waiting 51 days for clothes advertised as taking around 15 to 20 days is not reasonable.

On top of all of that, I also had to pay more than €50 in customs fees. At that point, returning the order hardly even feels like a reasonable option anymore, because I would already be more than €50 out of pocket just from the customs charge. So after waiting almost two months, missing the entire reason I bought the clothes in the first place, and paying substantial extra fees, I am now basically stuck choosing between keeping clothes I cannot properly wear until next summer or returning them while already having lost more than €50.

I genuinely regret ordering from Perte D’ego and I would not order from them again. If you are buying something for a particular trip, occasion or season, I would seriously think twice. Their cancellation policy may be strict, but apparently their delivery timeline is not.

The custom shirting and customer service from the brand was top notch, huge fan of the Modal fabric and supporting Indian brands. I’m already back for my second order, will update when it’s delivered, for now 5/5!

The suit is perfect. No other words. Perfect

Terrible service. 2 months later and i still havent recieved my shirt and they have ignored all my attempts to contact. DO NOT GET SCAMMED!!

I ordered a custom blazer for my fiancé to wear at our wedding, and I am beyond disappointed with this experience.

Before placing the order, I specifically contacted their customer service to ask whether there was enough time for them to make and deliver the blazer before our wedding. I explained that I had a firm event date. Their customer service was initially very responsive and assured me that there was enough time, so based on that assurance, I placed the order, paid hundreds of dollars, and submitted the requested measurements.

I followed up again approximately a week later and was reassured that everything was still on schedule.

What I cannot understand is that roughly three weeks after I placed the order, they contacted me with questions about the measurements I had submitted weeks earlier. This immediately concerned me because it suggested that these issues had not been identified until several weeks into the timeline. Then, the following week, I received yet another measurement question.

Each time, I emphasized how important the deadline was. This was not an outfit for a random event. This blazer was supposed to be my fiancé’s wedding attire. I repeatedly asked whether it would actually be completed and delivered in time, and I was repeatedly reassured that it would be.

Now it is Saturday. Our wedding is tomorrow.

I emailed them Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and today, Saturday. They have completely stopped responding.

I have no shipping confirmation, no blazer, no meaningful update, and no response. My fiancé is now without the wedding attire we planned around, one day before our wedding.

Had they told me at any point that they could not meet the deadline, I would have understood and purchased something elsewhere. Instead, I relied on their repeated assurances until there was essentially no time left to make alternate arrangements.

What makes this experience particularly concerning is that communication was excellent before and during the early stages of the purchase, but when the promised deadline arrived and there was clearly a problem, communication disappeared entirely.

At this point, I cannot recommend ordering from this company, particularly for a wedding or any other time-sensitive event. I paid hundreds of dollars for a custom garment after receiving explicit assurances that it could be completed in time, and as of the day before my wedding, I have neither the garment nor an explanation.

If the company resolves this, I will update my review accordingly. But this is an unacceptable way to handle someone’s wedding order.

Very common issue with them is shipping delays. 6 weeks after ordering and still don’t have anything so have done a chargeback.

I really hesitated a lot before buying my wedding suit from Perte d'Ego, but I can say now that it's one of the best decisions I've made ! Okay, communication is not always easy and you have to be very patient (you'd better anticipate), but it's definitively worth it. The broderies (100 % custom made) are amazing, the fabric's quality is great, what else could I ask for ? Thank you very much Perte d'Ego.

I was delighted by my first order. The items I ordered fit exceptionally well, and the quality is excellent. My order took a few weeks to arrive, but that amount of time is to be expected for made to order clothing. My order was shipped via FedEx. It took only a few days to be delivered once it actually shipped. Honestly, the impressive quality of the items more than made up for the lead time. I would be happy to order again.

T-shirt (and blazer) ordered, order would be 20-25 working days according to the site which gave me enough time before I went away although I checked a couple of weeks ahead and was still in preparation. Needless to say I didn’t get the t-shirt in time to go away with, nor a lead time.
I couldn’t get proper updates as to when my items would be ready despite numerous requests, customer service and care is horrific, some requests answered but still garments not finished, always left hanging on. After more than 2 months I wanted to cancel, I was allowed to do so but only if I received store credit. I decided to agree to this although I honestly never want to do business with them again. Despite asking, with no response, the credit hasn’t been applied and I’m still waiting to find out when I’ll get it.
I certainly wouldn’t recommend, I would advise to steer well clear.

Pieces arrived in perfect condition. The artistry this team accomplished is unparalleled. We are so honored to wear these for our wedding. Team was communicative and apologetic about a shipping delay. Hope to purchase more pieces again one day.

Undoubtedly, PERTE D’EGO is one the most reliable Indian brand ever. I dealt with it many times, how so fantastic this brand based on several standards.
1- High quality of their products such as Cotton, linen, blend Cotton & Linen, silk, modal and etc.
2- Diversity and sustainability. They make with love from generous hands in backstage to hands of customers.
3- Accurate skilled and professional hands of workers, it is so hard to find defects in their products even if we use microscope or lenses for that.
4- Insightful look by PERTE D’EGO regarding size guide or measurements schedule. I found all sizes in inch are so appropriate in dealing with international measurements. It is not easy to find more options in that way by other luxury brands or premium brands. Therefore, it fits well body shape or too close to exact measurement of the customer. Based on personal experience that, PERTE D’EGO is more accurate to understand various measurements of international customers.
5- I found the cotton of PERTE D’EGO is amazing and it is incredible comparing with many cotton fabrics I have used before. I feel real quality of Indian cotton. Further, they use Indian cotton fabric as it is one of the best cotton in the world if not the best.
6- Opennes and comprehension outlook in their products, indeed. They focus on diverse designs for multi cultures including Indian culture in order to satisfy taste of international customers. PERTE D’EGO is really so tasteful brand at all. 🙏🏽.
7- Clear instructions and information which are mentioned in their website. For reminding based on personal experience regarding custom cost that, PERTE D’EGO is irresponsible for custom tax as they mentioned in website.Custom Tax cost is related to each country including the country of customer. Custom clearance and taxation based on each state and tariff rate. It differs from country to another country. It is better to contact with our country custom tax office. Sometimes PERTE D’EGO team makes the cloth ready even before determinant date. Further, They use DHL company in order to facilitate the freight process.
8- The approach of this brand is known for renewal and freshing in their products between vintage and modern designs.
Last but not least, best quality needs a time to be made by hands. And the best therapy is the shopping and shopping in PERTE D’EGO is best therapy, indeed.

My fiancée was very apprehensive about ordering a custom suit from here due to all the negative reviews. However, before she ordered in May she made sure to communicate with them that her wedding was in August. We were told the entire process would take 25 days, from the time production started to the day it would be shipped. Our wedding is 9/4 but she told them it was mid August, just to be safe. Well, we ordered thinking we had some time in case it took a little longer than the guaranteed 25 day period. It is 8/10 and there has been 0 communication and 0 record of shipment. Do not order from these people unless your event is like a year out. Insane

Completely scam company, my husband ordered some shirts 2 months ago and they never arrived, also the tracking link doesn’t work, they say Made in Italy and it’s actually not true, fake advertising, be aware

I ordered a suit for my wedding, a full 2.5 months in advance (the item says to give a max of 20-25 days for your order on the website). About 2 months in and a few weeks before my wedding, I started emailing Perte D'ego. They were very responsive, first assuring me it was in production and will be here by the end of the month (a week before my wedding). We got to that point, still no updates. I emailed again, and they said it was scheduled to ship in the next 2-3 days. 4 days went by and I emailed again - no response.

My fiance emailed them about 5 days before the wedding and they threw a tracking number on the order, assuring us it would be here in time. We are now 3 days out from the wedding, and I still have no shipping updates.

Although their stuff looks cool, I would highly recommend against this company. I have since disputed the charge with my bank, and already been refunded my money (from the bank), as they have broke several promises and offered nothing in return.

The customer service team responds quickly, but with empty promises. They should not say 20-25 day shipping if it won't even be here within 90 days (still has yet to ship at 75 days and needs to clear customs).

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Zero accountability. My order for our wedding never came after them promising over and over again that it was “in process” please save yourself the stress and heartbreak.

They will tell you anything to get the order then string you along with what seems to be zero intention to actually send the product. I can’t count how much time I spent begging them to communicate or show me the work in progress or anything.

Shame on scammers like this.
