After looking into your concern, we noticed that no order was placed under your name. Instead, our communication was through email regarding a sale price listed on our website. As with all sales, once the promotional period ends, prices do return to their original amounts, which seems to be the case here.

I bought an item which was very poorly photographed/misleading on their website. They weren’t prepared to refund fully. This is most unfair. We exchange corporate waffle, probably cut and and paste response?! A bad company to deal with.

Placed order on 8th Nov - not dispatched. Emailed last week - promised dispatch by Friday Nov 17th; was never dispatched. Definitely shop elsewhere. False promises and subpar service.

Packaging on gifts being tampered with in order to save on delivery costs
Hi there parents, please do not use this company. They are tampering with original packaging on gifts and placing other items inside in order to save on courier costs.
As a result, my nephew's Christmas gift (a scooter) will have a pair of men's socks in the packaging! I was completely oblivious to this until I enquired about the missing item today - by which time the gift had been wrapped and handed over to mum and dad to be put away for Christmas.
The excuses I have been given defy all logic from: saving on packaging, to avoiding damaging the socks, to the fact that the size of the box would have been extended and incurred extra costs if the socks had been simply placed ON TOP of the box rather than inside. And at no point did the company think to inform the customer they had done this.
No refund forthcoming either. That is not really the issue though be aware that breaking original packaging can void consumer return rights.
I have never in all the orders I have placed online, had original packaging tampered with. So to save a pair of socks being damaged a brand new product almost 30 times their value was ripped opened and said socks placed carefully inside. Second excuse was pair of socks if placed on top of the package would have massively increased the size of the packaging and breached a courier cost threshold.
The fact the company has gone to such lengths to save perhaps £3 from making good and rectifying this situation speaks volumes.
Avoid.

As a small business, we like to do everything we can to ensure we our customers receive the best customer service possible, and receive their orders in an efficient manor.
We have responded to your emails and want to apologise again for placing the smaller product inside of the bigger product as this was a gift. As explained, we don't feel it necessary to ship out a box which is bigger than necessary, this can be quite frustrating for customers when they receive a smaller product than what's inside the box. Our team felt putting the product into the larger box more convenient when it came to the shipping.
We have taken your comments on board and going forward will ensure something like this does not happen again.
