Overall did a great job and was excellent value for money. On the down side, it does feel a bit cheap. The caps on the wheels tend to fall off, although they are only decorative. The machine took a lot of pulls to start from cold; not too sure how it will be after months in the shed. Possibly the same for other makes, but the process to change from the aerator cutters to the spring rake was fiddly. The collection bag is not very easy to put on, and with its small capacity was not worth using.

We bought a ParkerBrand multi-tool strimmer in July and it has already stopped working.

What has been most disappointing isn't just that a relatively new machine has failed, but the amount we've been expected to do ourselves to resolve it. We've been asked to take parts of the machine apart, check the spark plug and air filter, follow different starting procedures and try various ways of getting it running. We have done everything requested and it still doesn't work – it continually floods and will not start.

Now, rather than simply replacing a machine that is only a few months old and still covered by a two-year warranty, we've been told we need to arrange to send it back.

I don't think a customer buying garden machinery should be expected to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot a fault themselves on a machine this new. A two-year warranty was one of the reassurances when buying it, so I expected the process to be much more straightforward when something went wrong so soon.

Having now looked at other reviews, unfortunately our experience doesn't appear to be an isolated one, with other customers describing similar frustrations around faults, troubleshooting and warranty/returns.

The multi-tool itself seemed good value when we bought it, but after-sales service is where a company really proves itself. Based on our experience so far, I couldn't recommend ParkerBrand.

I'll update this review if ParkerBrand resolves the issue satisfactorily.

Fast despatch and delivery, heater is as described and so far performs well, it heats a large garage sized workshop up very quickly and does not need to run for long, it was well boxed up and the price was very good too, I would recommend this company and this product based on my personal experience, much appreciated guys.

They make some of the best small engine products for home use. Reliable and easy to maintain. Short delivery times. Act in a way that encourages you to buy through good discounts.

I replaced the chain and bar on my 16" Parker Brand chainsaw but after trying to tighten the fixing nut the threaded stud is instead rotating and being pulled out. I contacted Parker Brand and they wanted pictures etc which I duly sent. 3 subsequent e mails later and still no response so I guess the machine is now scrap. Their web site says 'Our company puts family values into the heart of what we do'. Maybe family values aren't what they were ?

I have had a few Parker Brand chainsaws over the years and have always found them to be extremely good value for money, reliable and well up to the jobs I have needed them for (felling trees, cutting up logs etc).
The only reason I have replaced them is just through heavy use wear and tear, or accidental damage.

Does the job, good price

The fuel outlet and return washer has been slightly redesigned in a good way, as that was why i had to purchase a replacement.

I would strongly advise people to check exactly what they are buying before ordering from this company.

I purchased a cabinet from their website, only to find out afterwards that the product they advertised and sold to me isn’t actually a product they can supply. In my view, this is completely unacceptable and a huge waste of a customer’s time.

What makes the situation even more frustrating is how they have handled it. After mis-selling me the product, their proposed solution was to offer me 5% off. Frankly, I find that insulting given the circumstances. I did not order a product expecting to then discover it isn’t actually available and have to waste my time sorting out their mistake.

The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I am extremely disappointed with both the original misleading advertisement and the way the situation has been dealt with afterwards.

If you’re considering buying from this company, check very carefully that the product you’re ordering actually exists and can be supplied before handing over your money.

Outstanding after-sales service.
I’ve purchased several items of equipment from Parker Brand and I’ve always been impressed with the speed of delivery and the competitive pricing.
Recently I reached out to Parker regarding a generator which I bought about a year ago. In view of the time elapsed since purchase I was unsure if Parker would be responsive. But in fact they responded very promptly indeed and my interaction with their customer service and technical teams was a very good experience. Craig and the whole team were very helpful, patient, friendly and professional, and they answered my questions and resolved my issue very efficiently.

I will continue to buy garden and DIY equipment from Parker because I’ve always found them to offer a very complete service, with good prices, fast delivery and outstanding after-sales care. Highly recommended.
