We recently purchased a used MG from Palmers in Hemel Hempstead. Our salesman Jayden was so helpful, polite and his manner was friendly. Not once did we feel any pressure to buy, the process was straightforward and Jayden phoned when he said he would. Hopefully any after service will be just as good. Thank you Jayden for your help.

Finally got our second key for jeep renegade after 8 months, was not dealerships fault, it was the Idiot salesman that sold us car, & he was full of broken promises, no longer works there, thank God, salesman Mark sorted for us, & in 2 weeks we had new key, Thanks very much

I recently did some business with Palmers of Watford and unfortunately, as sometimes happens, things did not go as planned. The matter was dealt with promptly and fairly and I can thoroughly recommend them as an ethical company. My particular thanks and appreciation to Lee Perkins.

Matt was very helpful and informative of all our enquiries. He didn’t rush through anything and made sure we understood every step of buying our new dream car.

Diagnostic check booked - two hour plus round trip to get there- car dropped off in the morning, returned at nearly 4pm to find they'd done nothing and they couldn't do this pre-booked work.

Useless really. Nothing good to say about them - would never go there again.

Car working beautifully

Sales adviser took our money for a deposit for a car and then weeks later advised car wasn't available. Agreed a replacement car and now month later have advised can't source the car, that they advised we had and advised if an estimated delivery date. Have fraudulently taken our money as no actual car available. Have repeatedly tried to make us go with an automatic that we have categorically said we do not want. Have zero knowledge of their own affinity scheme. Very unprofessional.

I do not usually write reviews but feel like I need to warn people of the service I received purchasing a car from Palmers Hemel Hempstead. After saving up for over two years to purchase my dream Alfa Romeo, I finally bought my car from them in December 2023 with 28,000 miles on the clock and was provided with a full vehicle check sheet by the dealership which stated the breaks were below 50% worn. 5 months later and only 4700 miles driven, the car was due its annual service so I gave it back to dealership and I was shocked to here that the breaks were now at 90% (all 4 of them!!!) and that I needed to pay over £1500 to have them replaced. As you can imagine I strongly reputed this and stated that they must have lied to me on selling me the car as to the condition of the breaks and that I had only bought the car from them 5 months ago, providing the vehicle check sheet that was issued with my purchase. They refused to take any liability and would not even discuss with me a reasonable solution, despite the car still being under warranty and only recently purchased. As you can imagine I have zero trust in the company so collected my car and had to bite the bullet with replacing the breaks with an independent garage which was able to give me a much more reasonable price, in fact the garage I used said they had a similar client complain about the utterly distrustful company which is palmers Hemel Hempstead. Very sad that my dream car has now been left with a very sour taste and a life long ambition of owing an Alfa Romeo has been greatly tarnished. STAY CLEAR OFF THIS PLACE!

After 12 years having bought a Jeep Compass from Palmers, I bought another Jeep from the company….. an Avenger this time. Palmer’s Salesman, Sebastian, was extremely helpful and patient in explaining the new technology of the car which had changed dramatically over the years. I have no hesitation in recommending Palmer’s Group, particularly their Salesman, Sebastian, to anybody who wishes to purchase a new car.

Quite poor customer service, hasn’t changed since the last time.
They don’t pick up their phones after you have called them back after missing a call.
Emails ignored.
It really just shows you.

My wife bought a new car & was told it was pre registered to fiat to make up fiat sales.when we went to pick up the car we received a green slip from previous owner so now my wife’s car was 2nd hand.we were told previous owner had never seen or driven the car? It had just 15 miles on the mileage.becouse previous owner had bin disabled we had to tax the car ourselves,£100 odd pounds she had not expected. We had no hand book with this new car & when she rang to request one she was told they didn’t have any but would order one,when she said she would ring head office suddenly a shelf of them was found! & one was delivered to her.the manager was dismissive to her when she complained about being 2nd owner to a brand new car.this is her7th fiat she loves them but since palmers has taken on fiat it’s gone down hill . Fiat in stalbans were fantastic but now only sell 2nd hand so we went to palmers in hamel Hempstead.sales person lied about reg to us & it was an unpleasant experience all round18 june

This is an update to our experience with Palmers Hemel Alfa Romeo in March. Following our disastrous service we received a phone call from the service dept advising that the parts we ordered were now in stock, we had no knowledge of the parts, after a few phone calls we discovered that the timing belt and water pump that needed replacing under the service had not been done as the parts were not in stock. We were not advised of this.
We have since taken the car to another Alfa Dealer to deal with an issue regarding the tracker and after the garage(who were amazing) ran diagnostic tests discovered that a software recall which should have been done at service had not been completed but Palmers Hemel claimed they had done it. Palmers at Hemel Hempstead are dishonest to say the least. The matter is now pending and in the hands of the other dealership

My family and I purchased a Jeep Rubicon on Friday 05th July 2024. The dealer Sebastian Golebiowski was fantastic and made the experience of purchasing the vehicle very smooth and efficient. His guidance and expertise was very valuable. We are very happy with the Jeep.

I was completely impressed with Faizan’s professionalism and customer service. As usual Kiran is always there for support. Their customer service is second to none. I will highly recommend Palmers to anyone. I have been their customer for more than 10years now and each time l visit, l always see improvement with their services.

I am changing my reviews based on updated service levels, following - up on my review, their team acted promptly and resolved the issue, and made necessary repairs to the driver-side light which was an issue from the day of purchase which I did not check.

I appreciate all the efforts done by Dan and Nick at Palmers and acting promptly.

Especially Dan has been a gentleman and kept his promise to resolve this matter in utmost professional manner. Thank you.
