Three days after placing an order on their website, I received an email saying one of the items was out of stock and it could be over a month before it might be available again. (I’d like to know why the site even allowed me to order something that was out of stock in the first place.) The email asked if I was willing to wait or preferred another option.
I replied to that email, but I still haven’t received any update. My account and order won’t load on their website, and the chat feature just says it can’t provide any additional information about my order.
Their customer service has been terrible. All I’m trying to do is find out the status of my order. If I don’t get some kind of response soon, I’ll have to file a complaint with my credit card company.

Awesome product, easy install and looks great too.

None of the bolts that slide in the channel would fit everyone had do be ground down to fit

I’ve sent a few emails regarding missing equipment can’t seem to get a response.

Have an easy way to tell you of problems I think the product is good but have problem opening with button have to open tailgate and pull cord . The message you sent me was send video of trying to open , to where? It’s really pretty simple when button is pushed it clicks but does not disengage lock

Package showed up undamaged. Went together very easily and looks great. Loving it. Will start to consider accessories for camping, etc., in the future.

I was in contact with someone who could help relace a damaged part out of the box when they have since ghosted me after several attempts to get in contact with them again.

I purchased the openroad4wd verticle awning brackets, I took a shot hoping they would solve the problem I had with my original brackets vibrating and bouncing like a diving board creating stress points and noise along the prinsu type roof rack.
They more than solved that problem, the brackets not only removed the vibrations and noise the design allowed me to integrate the the awning to both the rooftop tent and the roof rack.
I would highly recommend this product and look forward to purchasing other openroad4wd products based on my experience with these brackets and the advice and expertise I received before the items were delivered from customer support and service, emails in reply to my questions were detailed and timely and addressed any concerns I had.

I’ve had a great experience with Openroad4wd and their aluminum truck cap on my Tacoma. I’ve had it installed for a while now and have been able to put it to use in real-world situations hauling hunting and fishing gear, and I’ve been very impressed with it.

One thing I think is worth mentioning is how easy the assembly was. My 12- and 15-year-old sons helped me put the entire truck cap together and install it on the truck. The instructions were easy to follow, everything went together really well, and the whole process was much easier than I expected.

Once installed, the truck cap looks great and gives me the secure, covered storage I was looking for without the price tag of some of the more expensive options out there. And I have to say, it’s pretty bougie too! It completely changed the look of my Tacoma and gave the truck a serious upgrade in the looks department.

Customer service and communication have also been excellent. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been friendly, responsive, and easy to work with.

Overall, I’ve been very happy with the quality of the product and my experience with Openroad4wd. Easy assembly, good instructions, great functionality, excellent customer service, and it makes the truck look pretty dang bougie. What more could you ask for? I’d definitely use their products again.

Great roof top tent, sturdy well built and very ergonomic. I would recommend adding another mattress on top of the one that is provided for better comfort but it’s well on top of the truck and x hinge design gives you that extra foot room.

I liked the customer service. The team was very informative and communicative. It did not take long to get what I wanted and get answers when I had questions. I did not like the fact that I did not have the bility to call anyone. I also did not like the way the items had very limited instructions. I had to guess my way through alot of the installation. Maybe I got a package where the instructions were missing. The instructions I received after the install were much mor informative. Needless to say I have to take some stuff back apart and change a few things

We purchased the OpenRoad 270° awning and are very happy with it. Customer service was great. The only caveats that I would tender are 1) source your own fasteners or use liberal anti-seize. Also, the installation video could be more professional. I have brought both of these items to OpenRoads' attention and they were receptive to my constructive suggestions. Buy it, you will not regret it.

I have a 270 awning on my 2019 Ram 2500 adventure truck, replacing an trusted ARB awning, I have arthritis in my hands that made the ARB to difficult to use.
The Openroad 270 is amazing, fast easy to deploy and slow. Every time people see it they stop and ask about it.
Had a small problem and the service was prompt and complete!
Build quality and construction are near perfect, most every functioning component meets or excess my expectations. How many products can you say that about?

I have the RTT, 270 awning and shower awning. Everything has worked great. I am enjoying them completely. Great quality and better customer service!

I have purchased both a roof top tent and awning from them, and have had very good results with the quality and durability of both products. I have also had good experience working with the openroad support team when asking questions about their products.

As an avid user of Openroad products I’m a definite believer in there outdoor and offroad products and accessories. Never any trouble and if so it’s always been made right. Not only is Openroad products top notch there also affordable.
