Awful shipping and awful products. Bought ohsnap grip 3.0 and essentials card case mods. Doesn’t stick to MagSafe cases on iPhone 14 pro max. Feels cheap and flimsy. When you use the grip, it’s so far away from the photo button that it serves no purpose

About 2 years ago I switched from the Love Handle to the Oh Snap Grip 1.0 and I loved it! I placed a couple orders for the grips and accessories for myself and my husband in 2021. Last year, 2022, I went to buy some replacements and found out they changed the grip, and none of the accessories I had purchased were compatible with the 1.0. I wasn’t happy, but loved the grip so I bought a new magnetic holder for my car and more grips. My white 2.0 grip broke a few weeks ago and I went online to buy a new one only to find out they changed it again, with all new accessories needed AGAIN, and now, the grip is more like a pop socket, which I cannot use. So now I’m out several hundred dollars and having to switch back to the Love Handle. I reached out to customer service about this and got no reply from them. I would not recommend this company as they have not shown any loyalty to their current and past customers. Upgrades are great, but making their customers buy all new items for the newest upgrade is not ok.

I really liked the first 2 versions of ohsnap. The new version 3 is very cheaply made and no longer works as a kickstand (even though they claim it does). It's next to impossible to reach customer service (the company blocked me on Instagram when I reached out), and when I finally got someone via the website, they just keep ignoring my complaints and tell me how great the grip is. Many customers are expressing dissatisfaction with the new product in Instagram and they are being ignored and brushed aside as well. Very disappointing for a start up company who used to have an excellent product

Updated: after pulling teeth trying to get this company to demonstrate how the new product works, it appears like my previous complaints may be assuaged. It is not a ‘pop socket’ but seems to have the option of being used like one. You can see a demonstration of the gripping positions here: ohsnap Dot com/pages/snap-3-pro-tutorial the ability to stick to a fridge is still unknown. They claim it works, but that would be physically impossible if the camera bump is thicker than the grip. I’m going to give it a chance and will update the review.

The review for the company stands at 3 stars for now because the social media response to these complaints was poorly handled and they eventually turned on comment moderation to prevent people from pointing out these issues. Also because they repeatedly direct people to join the mailing list for updates, but the mailing list is 90% marketing delivered multiple times a week. We have social media and that is where many of us prefer to get this kind of information. It remains unclear why they are so cagey about all of this.

I really, really loved my Ohsnap grip 1.0. I literally sold my entire friend circle on it. Shortly after I bought into the ecosystem though they released the 2.0 system and all the old stuff was incompatible. Fine, I said. I’ll just keep using my stuff until it is time to upgrade and I’ll move to the 2.0 system.

But, lo and behold, they have now released the 3.0 system, barely a year later. And this time, it’s a whole entirely new product. No more strap. It’s a pop socket now. But I have never, and do not now, want a pop socket. I specifically want a strap. Full stop. And to make matters worse, the new grip is thinner than the camera bump on the phone, so one of the best unsung features of magnet grip is gone: It won’t stick to your fridge anymore.

I’m extremely disappointed in this company. I loved what they used to make, I even didn’t mind them modifying the design, though the timing annoyed me. But they didn’t just iterate it into something fundamentally the same but better, they literally removed everything I liked so much about it.

I won’t be buying this new product, or any new products, unless they offer a strap version that sticks to the fridge.

The 2.0 ohsnap sucks. The elastic band snaps in 1-2 months. They sent me a replacement, its wearing out already less than 2 weeks later.
The 1.0 was pretty good, the elastic stretched but it was decent.
The mag charger thing doesnt work if your phone case is too big.
Bad product due to rapid wear, but they could fix that and id be happy to then give it 5/5..

I was a long OhSnap Grip customer since 2020, my first purchase was for my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. The 1.0 grip works well, until it snapped in less than 6 months. Of course I complained and they sent me a replacement. I was amazed how long the replacement lasted. Then I upgraded to S22 Ultra in July of 2022. And of course, that OhSnap Grip replacement impressed me so well that got me sold to their revolution to the OhSnap 2.0, boy I was OUT for disappointment. I've had 2.0 for 1 week before the band snapped. Of course, they apologized and sent me a new one (covered under warranty), then the replacement that I got, 3 weeks later, the band is on its last stretch. In just less than a month, both the orig 2.0 order and its replacement sucked so bad? It's a normal use like its predecessor. I don't go around and jabbing it with scissors like a crazy person. Like, seriously??? I'm in SERIOUS disappointment. What am I supposed to do? Request for another warranty replacement? I'm sure that ship had sailed when I receive the replacement after a week of use. I'm done. I really am done. The 2.0 just lost me as a customer. Will never go back again.

Paid like 50 $ (CAD) for something that lasted 1 month top. It snapped. Make yourself a favour and get a phone loops. The magnet didn’t work either

After spending more than $120 on the ohsnap ecosystem about five months ago, I ordered two of their newer products only to find them incompatible. The company's reply was to offer me a 20% discount to replace all of the products that I already purchased from them recently! Oh, and the 2.0 products are all a little more expensive than their 1.0 versions. I WAS a fan, but their "upgrade" left 1.0 owners out in the cold. They also charged me for return shipping of the incompatible items, and I'm not even sure they'll give me a refund at all since the items were opened, which is how I found out they were incompatible! Terrible service.

Them ohsnap grips don't last long, the elastic gets worn out. Mine lasted less than 6 months and the more you use it, the more it gets loose then snap. The snapcharge is very worrying to use, the back of my phone gets pretty hot to the point where you would go back to using your old and original phone charger. I've used 3 in less than a year, I think it was a waste of money.

Agree with all below users. Its not easy to use. And return policy is not free. You have to pay shipping 5$ which normally cost only 1-2$. Thats a scam too.

Tried and tried to get this to work and it just failed! Don’t waste your time/money.

At first use, the holder seemed good. However, it does not work with NFC as advertised. Company do not respond to any contact and delete all negative comments and block you on Facebook which means you can't contact them vis their website either. Awful company and a mediocre product

Do NOT trust this company. They took months to ship their product, and then it did not work on arrival. After that, it took them weeks to respond to any support emails and they have continued to refuse to process a refund. Avoid at all costs.

This product feels cheap; it's not comfortable at all around the fingers, and it falls off the magnetic mount easily. I posted this review on the company's site, but they removed it!

The grips work pretty well.

I ordered the car power bundle after the Kickstarter which is where the problems started.

Firstly I was charged import fees by Fedex after delivery which I was not told about at the time of order, nor was I charged during the initial Kickstarter. I emailed to complain about this and that it was not mentioned anywhere during the order process, the reply I had was not worth the effort and since they have stopped shipping out of the USA entirely... coincidence?

Now onto the actual "car power bundle". It comes with an ohsnap grip, snapcharge and car vent mount.

The snapcharge sticks to the grip, but it slides off the car vent mount with just a case that doesn't even have a phone in it! How anyone has their phone attached to this is absolutely beyond me. There is no grip. I put a lightweight phone case with an ohsnap grip on it, attached the snapcharge and put it on the car vent and it slipped off. Absolutely terrible.

The fact they haven't claimed this Trustpilot profile is probably very telling in itself.

** After soliciting me for a review of my purchase via email, it never posted and the links to the reviews on their webpage don't work. No wonder why they show a 5 star rating - they won't let anything publish that's real, or at least none of the disgruntled people.

The function as a finger holder is so/so at best. Although the stretchy material may hold up (I'm unsure as I returned it after a few days of use), it feels quite flimsy. I was willing to accept this until I could not get it to function with any of my wireless chargers - we have 6 different brands/styles in the household. The only reason I wanted to purchase this product was to keep the case on with this device and wirelessly charge my phone at night (just like everyone else probably wants to do). Using it as a stand is so/so, the stick to my case was excellent - I had a hard time removing it for the refund - and the swivel is difficult. With the flimsy feel of the material, rotating it for different angles was not a comfortable feeling - I was waiting for it to just snap. This was a less than pleasant transaction all the way around. When I wrote in to ask questions or get advice to upgrade to their wireless charger, every ticket I opened was marked as resolved without a response from them. It wasn't until I requested a refund through PayPal that I finally received a response. I would not recommend doing business with a retailer like this. It seems that they are okay telling you it works when it doesn't, okay with offering you a refund during the purchase and then not following through until you dispute it with your payment provider, and they are okay with over hyping the product. Yes, you created something to sell and marketing products and their highlights is perfectly acceptable. No, it is not okay to offer a hassle free process, offer discounts by text (greater than the purchase) within hours of accepting the order, and never answering a customer's request. If you need staff, get them. If you have a product that actually functions as described, you can market it that way. If you're okay with all of those negatives, this is the company for you. It certainly is not for me.

SCAMMERS! DO NOT BUY. Took my money and no fulfilment of order. Put my order in 1st November and when I asked they keep sending me a automated response response that all orders will be fulfilled by October 26-nov6 and someone will get back to be in 5-8business days. I HAVE SENT THEM MULTIPLE EMAILS WITH THE SAME AUTOMATED RESPONSE. Lost $200 ordering the device and accessories. F@%# THIS COMPANY!

Useless item, no customer support, another "kickstarter" product that is all bells and whistles.

Same old empty slogans and claims.
