Ohsnap would not lock down after a short usage. Other customers had complained about this. Why not fix the problem. Get rid of the defective batch.
Instead you offer a warranty that the customer can purchase. How complicated can this thing be that you cannot get it right the first time!!

TLDR: Oh Snap should please review their quality control with their order fulfillment processes, a more active customer service team, and a much easier way to return unwanted / damaged product that isn't going through a customer service person that responds every 5 days.

I have been a kickstarter of Oh Snap and avid customer since 2017 that being said, this completely changed how I view this company.

I got the Case + Snap Grip for my iPhone 16 pro max. The product was still in pre-order status so it wouldn't be shipping for a month. A month and a half later my item arrived and it was the wrong color item and the trim for the side buttons were completely missing. After weeks of back and forth with their customer service asking me to send them more and more pictures, I still haven't received my correct product and have no instruction on this incorrect and broken item.

"After numerous attempts at giving this company a chance, their product still remains defective. The first two replacements were due to snapped plastic within the transitional piece that allows the unit to prop a phone up. These were both after less than two months of use. The third replacement I needed, was due to a crumpled interior plastic support that would no longer allow the mount to encapsulate within itself. At this point they had a new model, the Snap 3 Pro. Which they sent instead, as my third replacement. Due to issues with the adhesive on this model, my phone nearly flew out of the window of my car on the freeway, but luckily I was able to grab it, and noticed the Snap 3 Pro still attached to my mount. Magnet good, adhesive bad, plastic bad. After receiving two replacements of adhesive, the issue was still not solved. The center of my mount busted out last week, and in an attempt to get a replacement for my Snap 3 Pro, I was met with some resistance from Rhaine Pineda through the support channel. Before being introduced to Rhaine, I was forced to fill a form and then also forced to request a newer model of the device, as there was no option or support for the Snap Pro 3, which I found out in a subsequent email that stated "Snap 3 Pro is no longer supported since the launch of the latest Snap 4 Luxe nor we have any stock for replacement. I hope this clarifies your concern." That response is the result of this review, while I feel this company stood behind their product in the past, it should not be my responsibility to pay for the evolution of their product, I'm requesting compensation for the initial purchase, or a replacement that is current available through their brand's current generation."

The product didn't arrive. When I wrote them to replace or refund it they wrote back once asking for my address and then that was the last I heard. I wrote them back asking what is going on and they said they won't be fixing the problem in any way. Lost my money.

The snap4 does not work as intended (will not stay stuck on the phone). Customer service is very little help and will ghost you if you have any questions. I had to open 4 support tickets to get one answer.

Shizt product period...the materials are low grade, the magnet is weak, the product is way overpriced, the mount is tiny and useless because of design and just a piece of crap product all around. Cheap and stylish.

Flimsy, overpriced grip. Uncomfortable.

Evil, lying, false advertising company. They put up a popup on their homepage where you "get 25% off if you enter your email" but then put you to a next screen that requires your cell phone number to send spam texts. Email is fine. Spam texts are not. I was going to buy, now I won't. I put in my email and hope I don't get spam there now. I will not agree to spam texts. Now that I see other reviews here, I'm glad I didn't buy.

Edit: I received spam from them ever since!

I would urge people to NOT purchase their very overpriced charges OR a bundle. I have purchased numerous items from this company and ordered the charges in a bundle. My first charger didn't work at all, they did send me a replacement. I then had TWO BOTH get extremely hot...dangerously hot. Obviously I do not want to use their charger. I requested to return, well they won't take them back unless I return the bundle. I use the grips and gave one as a gift. So now they refuse to help me... won't give me any type of partial refund. They simply do not care. It upsets me more that these are dangerous in my mind. Says a lot about a company.

Ghosted by customer service. I ordered the luxe 4 car kit and while the luxe 4 phone piece works great, the car kit fell off within 15 minutes of use. I followed the mounting instructions exactly as the video showed. When I reached out to customer service, they gave me the run around for a while and then just stopped responding all together. The website only shows positive reviews and they filtered my review. I paid almost $70 for basically nothing. And don’t even think about the warranty. It’s useless if nobody will contact you.

Ordered Nov 29th with "2-3 business day" shipping. It's now December 18th, no word from the company on shipping or status, etc. Another Instascam.

As another review indicated, I ordered the luxe 4 snap and it arrived broken. When I reported it, I was told I would have to wait until other preorders were issued, as they were treating my replacement as a “new” order. If a company sends you a broken product, you shouldn’t be at the end of the priority line. While customer service responds quickly, they have a super backwards policy as it relates to replacement of their broken grip. I give two instead of one star for quick responses, but the responses are unsatisfactory. Recommend taking that into consideration when adding your $40 phone grip to cart

I have been an Ohsnap customer for several years, including being a Kickstarter backer. I have kept hoping they would get better as they grew, but I am not sure that is their goal.

I have seen improvement in their customer service speed, but, in all honesty, I would prefer to NOT have to deal with their CS team. That typically only happens when things go wrong. And many, many things have gone wrong.

I have had to receive multiple replacements for every single item I have purchased from them. Not just one or two replacements, but up to 6 replacements on some items. It's great that they replace them for free, but it's ridiculous that they still have not figured out how to make items that are worth what they charge for them.

The newest issue is the Nap 4 Luxe. I pre-ordered, and when I finally got it, it broke within a day. I immediately submitted a warranty replacement request, only to discover it will take more than a month to replace it.

They have slick marketing, but their products are really just junk. They would be better off creating better products than replacing mine every time they break.

I ordered the ohsnap lux and car mount. While the ohsnap proves useful and effective, can’t say the same for the car mount. Might work for lighter phones or warmer climates but definitely not for recent phones which may be a lot thinner but heavier.

Recommendation?
Find a different product with the same function. Not worth the price

Probably my 3rd time I cannot leave a review on the website. They require to verify your email, but never send it to you. Even if you log in with an account that has purchased the product, you are required to verify the email again(?). I assume they pick and choose what reviews are shown on the website. (Not in any junk folders, 3 days and counting)

idk if it the company itself or the shipping company fault, I ordered the ohsnap 3 Pro on July 13th 2023. Now its august 14 2023 and still haven't received it over a month.

I never heard that I need to actually glue this to my iphone case instead of just snap with magnets. Whait what? It feels really tiny and cheap. I wouldn’t trust to hold my iphone 14 pro max. Seriously, you guys positioning yourself as pop socket killer I saw a lot of ads on some video podcasts but this product is faaar from pop socket quality. It was 1 second to decision made to return it. I’m also upset that I need to spend my own money to cover delivery back. I spent $32.65 and it stated that I’ll get back $22.34 what the hell!? It’s a scam!?

Customer service could not change my shipping address even though the item wasnt even shipped. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

Horrible company! This pop socket alternative SUCKS, it doesn’t charge with my apple certified MagSafe charger, is sporadic with battery packs and trying to get it into to stand mode is challenging. It doesn’t “click” when doing stand mode. I’ve contacted customer service and the website says error when trying to return. Also it’s been proven to not charge as fast as Normal wireless charging. Not only that but their Facebook team is rude af. I paid $50CAD for this crap
