The repairs to my car were great. It came back cleaned too.
My issue was with the curtesy car. I phoned and the driver who returned my car apparently put a complaint in.... there was no water in the windscreen bottle which was annoying when I needed it. So that wasn't checked. But worst of all the glove compartment wasn't checked and there was a condom in it !!! Ive been expecting an apology but nothing.

They were very professional and kept me up to date.
The repair was done to a high standard.
They said they would do a valet my car but looked like they didn't.
The boot was still dirty.
That's the only negative I have to say

I had initially intended to leave a 5-star review because the staff were friendly, professional, and responsive throughout the process.

When I raised a concern, it was taken seriously and resolved promptly without any issues. The collection and return of my vehicle were completed on time, and I appreciated that the car was returned cleaned.

However, there are a couple of areas where my experience fell short of expectations.

Firstly, I was asked not to smoke or have pets in the courtesy vehicle provided by OC Motors. As a non-smoker who does not own pets, I had no issue complying with this request. Unfortunately, upon entering the courtesy vehicle, there was a strong cigarette smell that became increasingly unpleasant during use. This was disappointing given the standards expected of a customer courtesy car.

Secondly, the repair work itself does not appear to be fully satisfactory. The repair involved a minor dent to the front wing corner and replacement of the headlight. While the dent has been largely straightened, there is still a noticeable bend in the wing. This has left an approximately 7mm gap between the wing and the newly fitted headlight, which is clearly visible and suggests the repair has not been completed to the standard I would expect.

The challenge I now face is that the OC Motors repair centre is located in St Neots, Peterborough (PE19 8TP), more than 70 miles from where I live. This makes it impractical to return the vehicle for further inspection.

As a result, my only realistic option is to have my local BMW dealership, which I regularly use, assess the issue and carry out any necessary corrective work.

Overall, I found the customer service to be excellent, but the condition of the courtesy vehicle and the quality of the final repair unfortunately prevent me from awarding the 5-star rating I had originally intended.

Excellent service and repair

I was very happy with the staff and the service of OC Motor Repairs. The details given for my appointment were very good and the staff were very polite on arrival. The repairs were done to my car and it looked amazing again. It was also repaired very quickly too which was also appreciated.

Provided me with a like for like loan vehicle (brand new), delivered to my home address and collected my damaged vehicle on a flat bed truck at the same time and as prompt and timely as promised.
Returned my repaired vehicle in exactly the same manner, no fuss, no bother.
I was extremely impressed with the quality of work undertaken (repairs to the rear bumper, lights and boot lid) as I couldn’t see any evidence of there ever having been damage. Well done and THANK YOU 🙂

From start to finish a very professional service. Updated with everything and advised along the way what was being done. Cannot fault them. Thank you.

Repair was not to standard. Promised would reorder part and book in for repaint, as there was a visible paint run on car door. 2 weeks later and 2 contact attempts later- nothing!

Sean collected my car no problems there and he returned it. I was kept up to date with the repairs and the car looked brand new again when it was returned so I was very pleased.( It was only 3 weeks old!!)

I highly recommend OC Motor Repairs. Their quick service included providing a courtesy car, and the friendly staff expertly handled my rear glass replacement at their Crawley hub. They completed the job flawlessly and returned my car spotless.

My car was collected. I was informed when driver was near by and when he arrived. On collection the driver was pleasant and informative. The courtesy car was clean and good to use. The time frame was just 6 days which was pleasing. On collecting the site was very tidy and organised and made me feel comfortable about where my car had been repaired.

You were punctual, have efficient, friendly staff who did an immaculate job on my car. Thank you

Getting in touch was at first not easy online.Very confusing when you can't talk to anyone.However once U managed that all communication was great and with an actual person ringing with information. Both guys that took away and delivered my car were really great too

My transit van was damaged by someone/something scratching it along it's full drivers side.

I went through my insurer Yoga who use OC motor repairs

After the usual online procedure sharing photos of the damage OC motors contacted me and confirmed that my vehicle was repairable. The service manager was professional and polite.

Sadly when it came to getting a courtesy van they failed. They refused to "out source " because it was just a paint job!

I had to wait weeks for their own van to be available. Very poor for such a big insurance repairer.

Eventually their van was available and my van was collected and delivered by low loader. Both drivers were professional and courteous.

When I inspected the repair it was very good but I was bitterly disappointed that a previous small scratch /mark in the same area of the main repair was ignored.
Considering that the whole offside of the vehicle was virtually resprayed, how unprofessional is it to leave minor marks.

I liken it to taking your car to a garage with a puncture and telling them it's not driving very well. They give it back to you saying engine is running fine !!!!!
Just check the engine and fix the puncture.!

I had no option in choosing the repairer but after my Google search of OC Motor repairs I felt reassured BUT after this incident I'm reluctant to recommend them.

Fantastic service, my car came back fixed & spotless.

OC handled the damage to my car in an exemplary fashion from the time I reported that someone had run into my car (in a Tesco supermarket!) to the day it was returned in its original condition. Communication was excellent and I was updated at every step. I was very impressed by their own repair centre in Teesside (the very same building I spent 20 years of my working life!) and the brand new loan vehicle. Highly recommend.

Came dropped off hire car and picked up my van 2 weeks later dropped of van first class service all round phoned with updates
