Amending my previous rating
Amending my previous rating, to account for the end of my support troubles. While the business’s support response times, initial lack of status updates on the parcel, and communication do still leave quite a bit to be desired, and I do believe that there needs to be more transparency, (by all means, it appears that they should have more staff — I understand the financial difficulties or behind the scenes logistics that may prevent one from doing so) I did finally manage to secure a refund as my package was indeed lost in transit.
I am satisfied with the end result of my negotiations and support discussions with the support team. I simply wish that things were clearer and the response times were better. If it didn’t feel like I needed to approach the matter with notable pressure to get a response, this would not have been such a kerfuffle. From a quality standpoint, the merchandise that I have previously ordered and received from Object Show has been of great quality and craftsmanship and is otherwise a great way to support small, niche / indie creators and their art.
