Happy with the service

I was hesitating to order prescription glasses from Oakley as I’ve got astigmatism in my left eye (-2.75) and I wasn’t sure if I will get used to them, as in the past I’ve replaced lenses in my old Oakley sunglasses with prescription lenses via Reglaze Glasses Direct and I couldn't get used to them.
I love how Oakley frames wrap around my head so I spoke with opticians and they said that it should be fine if Oakley themselves do the lenses.
So I’ve ordered the prescription glasses via Oakley but unfortunately I couldn’t get used to them either and Oakley gave me a full refund.

OAKLEY UK LOOK UP CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have never in all my days, experienced such incompetence!!!
Wanted to replace my lenses, contacted Oakleyuk, sent an image of my frame number,
Oakleyuk reply with a link to the supposed range applicable to that frame.
Order the lenses for my birthday! Lenses arrive!
They don’t fit!
They are too thick for the frame, take pictures and inform OakleyUk, it was here the level of crazy reaches a new level,
More pictures sent, (there’s no way in hell these will fit) after some rather rude emails, and at no point any admission of a mistake, and while addressing me by my surname only?
OakleyUk arrange a next day collection using UPS, 2 days later I informed OakleyUK that the parcel was still waiting, as was I?
Seven days later from the promised next day collection, the parcel was collected, around 2pm, by 5pm I received and emailed from Oakley .they had cancelled the collection? It had already left?
Oakley informed me that another next day collector had been arranged? But for what? It had already left?
I informed Oakleyukcustomer service! More surname only replies?
Another week passed, by now I’m dreading poking the monkey cage any more in fear of a guano throwing fest of pure idiocy !
Oakley send me an Email……When did You send the parcel, do you have evidence to back this up?
So Still no lenses, still no apology, still no refund, Nobody to contact, Nobody at customer services able to help let alone solve a dog puzzle and no hope of a refund? GET YOUR SUNGLASSES ELSEWHERE AND SAVE YOURSELF A HEAP-LOAD OF BOTHER

UPDATE…returned parcel was lost in their system? Due to them cancelling the collection? I had to give proof of postage?
Eventually refund was offered, not yet received? No admission, no apology, and no resolution, I still have an Oakley frame, without lenses Happy Birthday to me lol

Website lies. Corporate greed. Couldn't care less.

I recently had an experience with Oakley that left me feeling disappointed. I came across an item on their UK website that was advertised as having a 50% discount, but when I tried to purchase it, the price was different. I even refreshed the page multiple times, but the discounted price was still there. As a loyal customer who has bought several Oakley products in the past, including sunglasses and apparel, I was hoping to receive the item at the advertised price. However, the customer service representative I reached out to told me that they could not honour the sale price. This is frustrating as, in a physical store, I would expect them to honour the advertised price, and it seems unfair that the same policy does not apply online. I am disappointed that Oakley did not follow through on their advertised discount and that I could not purchase the item at the promised price.

Based on this experience, it seems clear to me that Oakley does not care about its customers. It is disappointing to see a company prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. As a result, I cannot recommend Oakley to others with good conscience. Rather, I would advise potential customers to choose a competitor who values their customers and is willing to honour their advertised prices. It is my hope that Oakley will take this feedback to heart and work to improve its policies in the future.

Terrible Customer Service
Ordered a pair of sunglasses from Oakley, they ended up some totally unrelated pair of prescription sunglasses from a different brand altogether (Persol). After multiple back-and-forth emails with customer support and 2 phone calls I ended up returning the unrelated glasses back in return for a 50% off code (as the original pair i ordered were now out of stock, and discontinued). I tried to use this code on some glasses i wanted that were also low in stock, but due to a site-wide discount that i couldn't opt out of i wasn't able to use my 50% off code, when i called customer support and told them about this and asked what i was meant to do if these ones also ran out of stock before i was able to buy them, they just told me to buy a different pair (i do not like any others than the 2 i want to buy). Absolutely useless & clueless customer support, some of the worst i have ever had to deal with and i say this as someone who prefers not to contact customer support and just swallow it, but these guys are terrible.

Sylas - Prizm Sapphire Lenses poor quality

I bought a pair of Sylas sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses and they look great but they don't work! They dull the brightness, as do any cheaper sunglasses, but they definitely don't 'enhance colour, contrast and detail' as the product description claims. They didn't stop any glare when driving and I couldn't see the road.
However, my husband's (same price) Oakley Prizm sunglasses worked extremely well, even driving towards the setting sun. So, I emailed Oakley to request an exchange as I clearly have a duff pair OR the type I bought aren't the quality you'd expect from Oakley and... they didn't care. I received the bog standard reply that I can pay to return them for a refund within 30 days if unworn. How does the customer know they don't work until they wear them?! And if they're faulty/don't work, then why do I have to pay to return them? Shoddy quality and poor customer service.

Amazing pair of prescription sunglasses from oakley. I had a few problems my end and a bit of confusion but not the fault of oakley. I would highly recommend especially if you need prescription lenses. 👍👍

Shocking Online order serviceb

Made an online order for a £309 pair of prescription Oakley sun glasses . My payment went through but have received no acknowledgement from Oakley . The my account system comes up with errors for me to track . The US customer care team have referred my request to the UK team without bothering to at least confirm my order . This experience is absolutely shocking when compared to every other organisation that offers online orders .

Truly the worst company i have ever had the misfortune to deal with

Shabby service, customer telephone number doesn't work, tracking doens update, online chat is useless and no response from email.

Placed an order for new lenses, was emailed confirmation, sent tracking information and nothign. Tried calling, tried online chat, emailed and nothing!

Other brands of sunglasses available, so disappointing as i have three pairs (I do a lot of biking running etc thats how i justify it lol) Reminds me of Ratners :0)

Edit i made a claim via paypal, miracul;ously they emailed me thanking them for enquiry. Waited another week, basically no apologies, nothing. Do you want us to sned them or not? I replied with a yes a 50% refund as we all realise there is huge mark up on their items and some compensation would have been nice, again nothgin then mriaculously they were sent before i could cancel. Now if I wish to retun them its at my expense! I am beyond cross at such a crappy company.

I hope they treat their staff better than their customers!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

DO NOT BOTHER SPEAKING TO THEM!
None will help you, they are all circling back the discussion, no offering any solution and they will also steal your gift card details as this happened to me.
I could make an order online for Oakley ski googles and they asked me my gift card details and then they said the would call me. They never did call me and they also claimed the gift card as their and they used the £50 voucher to a John Lewis transaction.

A police investigation is on the way!

They are horrible. Cannot believe that none can help and neither management is there to see all these bad reviews.

If I could give zero stars I would! My wife ordered me a pair of Jawbreakers for a Christmas present from Oakley's UK website. The glasses were ordered on the 20.12.23 with an estimated delivery date of 22.12.23. The delivery date came and went so we clicked on the tracking link that took us to an Evri website. To our surprise the tracking number was not recognised. After serval attempts trying to contact Oakley, we were told that it was UPS delivering. We checked their website and the glasses were stuck in Italy. We gave up for Xmas and tried multiple times to contact Oakley via email & phone during the period up to NY,but got absolutely nowhere. We finally had an email on 04.01.24, telling us the glasses had a customs problem and had been returned to their depot in Italy!! The email also stated it would take up to 3 weeks for them to provide a refund!! Their customer service throughout was extremely poor and they have turned a loyal Oakley owner (4 pairs) into someone who never go anywhere near their brand again. I wish I would have read these reviews, before my wife place the order, they are not exaggerating. My advice is don't order from this website as you are likely to be very disappointed.

Worst pair of sunglasses I have ever…

Worst pair of sunglasses I have ever had the misforune to own! I paid £125 for this garbage, they mark exceptionally easily and bend out of shape with the slightest pressure. They are clearly made from low grade materials and they simply trade on their name without a care for their customer. I reached out to customer services who basically couldn't care less!! Avoid Oakley at all costs and spend your money elsewhere!!

DO NOT BUY!! I have never left a review on trustpilot in my life but this company has pushed me to it. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I used to have a pair of great oakley goggles that I bought in store many years ago and I have always recommended the company to friends and family - never will I do so again!! I bought two pairs both with 50% off. They never attempted to deliver and I was told over a week after the supposed delivery date that they were on the way back to the warehouse and that a refund would be processed 15 business days after they were checked in the warehouse. Phone lines do not work, online chat is useless and the email system is a joke. I have been passed to so many different people: Jocelyn, Roberta, Marcos, Martina…. Each email comes from a different person who claims to be dealing with the dispute. They offered me 30% off to repurchase a pair. After many emails back and forth they offered me 50% off ONE PAIR excluding any special edition goggles. After explaining this did not cover what I had originally purchased they offered 50% off for everything. This is now 3 weeks past the delivery date and many hours of wasted time. I gave up on re-purchasing after asking where the goggles are manufactured as I was concerned about the quality of the goggles after reading other reviews. They refused to give me the information I asked for. One man (Marcos) told me they are all made in the US. The next woman (Martina) then told me they are made in Italy, after which she emailed me saying they are based in Italy and have manufacturing worldwide. I imagine they are now mass produced with poor quality but still at the outrageous high prices they were before when they were good quality. I requested the refund to be processed quicker than the 15 days as I have now been waiting 3 weeks and the goggles haven't even arrived back at the warehouse so likely to be another 3 weeks before get my money back. An absolute joke of a previously reputable company. Such a shame, please avoid.

Bought a pair of sunglasses on sale at…

Bought a pair of sunglasses on sale at 50% off. A week later I receive an email saying there is a delay with the order. I contact them to ask when I will receive the sunglasses only to get a response saying that my order has been cancelled. Still waiting for the confirmation of refund. The payment is showing as pending in my bank statement and although the email suggests it's been cancelled the funds are not available in my bank. They offered me 30% off full priced items as a token gesture of their shocking service. Lesson learned. I will never buy from Oakley again!

Probably the worst customer service ever!

Just where do I begin with this review…

Ok, so how does 69 emails sound back and forth with various Oakley staff over a couple of months? Endless descriptive long emails, addressing my points and asking to speak to a manager and just being fobbed off every time.

I have purchased 5 pairs of sunglasses and 1 new lenses in 3 months and all had issues! 2 replacements and still not perfect.

Oakley once was the best in sunglasses, but probably the worst now! The quality is shocking for the premium price you pay and the customer service is just absolutely diabolical!! (The worst I have ever experienced!).

I have also found out that ever since Luxottica took over Oakley a few years back the quality has dramatically gone down hill, however the premium price tag hasn’t!

The staff at customer service either throw a 30% voucher at you - which I’ve had a few now, and this time I don’t want anymore promos to buy any more rubbish from you or they just send replacement which takes 3 weeks and when I asked them to check replacement sunglasses before being sent out the 2 sunglasses still arrived damaged slightly.

Just absolutely the worst experience EVER!!!!! Avoid buying directly from Oakley.

TIP! If it says made in USA on Oakley sunglasses - Then these are the original good quality ones! It use to be all American made until that rubbish italian company Luxottica took over and now mass production is in china!! Say no more…

Oakley Jawbreaker nose clamp defect

My Oakley Jawbreaker’s are only 6 months old and the nose clamp has corroded and snapped. Oakley’s warranty response was that they are not covered although they are meant to have a 2 year warranty. I’ve got/used Oakley’s for years but the quality of the latest products is very substandard IMO. Be warned.

Poor Quality Lens Coatings

I have been a long term fan of Oakley Sunglasses, purchasing over 20 pairs since I started with my A Wires & E Wires.

I complained about a pair of Crosshairs whose lenses started to peel back in 2021. I was offered a 30% discount against replacements from Oakley Customer Services, this was simply not good enough as several shops were offering 50% off anyway.

A month after complaining about my Crosshairs, would you believe my Nano Wires also started peeling. Followed by my Whiskers and now this week my Tailbacks are also peeling.

I find it appalling that such a well known brand should get away with selling unfit products over and over again. Clearly the coatings being used on the lenses is not fit for purpose.

Sunglasses are designed to be worn. Wearing them for a couple of weeks holiday (I tend to take two or three pairs with me, once or twice a year), I do not expect them to peel thus reducing their effectiveness and appearance.

My oldest pair are over 25 years old and are well travelled, they have not failed. It is whatever additional coating you are using, it is no good, it does not last and in my humble opinion is not fit for purpose. I will not be buying any more Oakley Sunglasses, instead I will be looking at Ray-bans, which I wore before being converted or Maui Jim’s…

This saga started in June 2023.I have a high prescription and wanted some wraparound prescription sunglasses. I felt sticking to Oakley lenses was the best way forward as they market their lenses as having special features and I was unsure of the quality of other lenses.

First attempt: June 2023
I placed my order,the order status was payment pending and after a few weeks I heard nothing.
I chased this up with several customer service agents via live chat (on the rare occasion this was available) and over the phone, I was told it would be escalated and was offered a 30% discount code to use for my NEXT order. I heard nothing, and again chased this up over the phone, I was told the transaction had been cancelled and someone had been meaning to get back to me to communicate this.

Attempt 2 July 2023
I still have no idea why the transaction was cancelled?. I placed my order again, using my wife's bankcard. Waited several weeks again, chased it up myself to learn that apparently I had put the wrong PD numbers down, which is why they couldn't process it this time.
#1 I had used the default value of 63 on their website.
#2 on their website, they state they will contact you if there is an issue.
#3 I think despite their brand reputation this is a terrible company when it comes to communication, customer service, basic competency. After arguing with the customer support staff member for 20 minutes, in the end I felt sorry for him, as he has the unenviable task of taking the flak for the mistakes of others. I know they messed up and rather than admit it, they said I had put the wrong PD number, which is not easily done as you have to amend it rather than select the default. As its their website you use to enter the details, unless you keep a screenshot, it's their word against yours. The customer is always wrong. Throughout these misadventures they keep offering you discount codes, that you can only use on non-sale items.due to my high prescription the cost of my lenses is 70% of the cost, so it is only viable for me to buy when they have an offer of a discount on the prescription lenses.

Attempt 3 August 2023
I tried again, this time someone from Italy contacted me to say they had received my prescription but some details were missing????.
First of all let me say Hallelujah praise the lord, for the first time someone had the decency /uncommon sense to contact me. I replied to him and took no chances. I manually typed out ALL the details of my prescription again, which were CLEARLY on my prescription. I sent 2 copies of my prescription in different formats and explained where the details were stated e.g too left in box under address etc.

Today, after several delays, my sunglasses arrived. The company still has 2 payments pending against my card. Looking at them, and trying them on. If you ask me was it worth it?, I would say... No. To be fair the frame fits well, the lenses are light weight for a prescription over 5, but all that spiel abt genuine Oakley lenses in my opinion is just hype. Vision is distorted, especially viewing details in the distance. My transitions lenses (same prescription) are sharper. I should have saved my money and months of waiting, and followed my Opticians advice. Got the Oakley frame and gone somewhere else for the lenses. In nearly half a century on this earth, this is the worst customer service experience I have had.

Poor Customer Service

Customer Service is seriously lacking. Build Quality on £150 sunglasses not great. Scratched very easily and the mirrored lenses started peeling off from the edges 18 months of occasional use. Contacted their customer service but they were so dis-interested in what I had to say. Made me jump through hoops discussing it only for them to tell me it's a 12 month warranty. They then offered to have them repaired however the cost equated to 2/3rds of the original cost of the sunglasses.
