Very poor

Very poor! I’m looking to buy some sunglasses, so visited their website. Needed some advice, so did the webchat and emailed. Apart from having to wait together a response, when I did some of it was helpful but annoyingly got contradictory advice from different people. So the pair I want I was told I could order, but couldn’t see it on their website. Got in touch and was told it was a custom order!! But these cannot be returned! Really hopeless Oakley well done, maybe should buy a different brand!5

I'm without a travel bag this weekend after 6 weeks of waiting for a replacament

I ordered an 'Endless Adventure' large travel bag in January 25' having owned several Oakley bags. However, loyalty doesn't mean jack with these guys...

Regardelss of the wheels literally coming off my last 'Big Mission' trundler, I thought I'd give them another go for my luggage of choice.

The new bag arrived in January with a loose handle, so I arranged an immediate return to ensure I have a bag for travel this coming weekend/Mid-March!

The replacement has been in transit for weeks and is stuck in Polish customs!! I have called/emailed endlessly but am getting nowhere ahead of my trip this weekend.
This global company has shocking service for the money they charge on their products, I would HIGHLY recommend reconsidering your Oakley purchase.

I'm now without a travel bag this weekend after 6 weeks of waiting - you'd think they would send me a replacement from the UK or supply the correct customs documents to process this delivery following two weeks of it being stuck in Polish transit.

Absolutely awful service Oakley!!

Oakley quality and service issues

As a customer of many years, I have owned multiple pairs of Oakley sunglasses and also have Oakely spectacles.

I am astounded at the recent lack of quality and service that now seems to exist within the company.

I ordered a pair of polarising mirrored sunglasses on 7th Jan this year. I received the glasses the next day but unfortunately found a scratch on the mirror lense. I then raised a ticket for replacement.
After a multitude of issues with Oakely internal process failures, I was told I would instead have to receive a refund. This then required 10 chase up calls/emails over nearly 1 month in order to receive my refund, which never happened.

On the 3rd Feb, I unexpectedly received a replacement pair of sunglasses, no refund. Way past the 14-day UK statutory rights limit.

On checking the item, I found them to be in worse condition than the initial pair, a scratched lense, along with many scuffs on the front of the frame rim. Appalling quality control, which surely should be 'normal' + extra checks for a replacement?
Yet more calls, another case raised, and another trip to send the parcel back, and then to be told I'd need to wait another 15 days for a refund.

After escalating again, I eventually received a refund on 12th Feb. This was 35 days after raising the initial issue. 14 calls/emails, lots of time and frustration, 2 pairs of defective expensive glasses, only to be back where I was.

I will not be purchasing from Oakley again. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of quality, the broken process for replacement/refund, and the fact that all I repeatedly had were 'nice words of apology'. Yet another company that hides behind a thin eggshell of primary service with absolutely no substance inside.

Brought Oakley sunglasses at Bangkok…

Brought Oakley sunglasses at Bangkok airport for son. On returning my son didn’t like them. Not a problem or so I thought. I offered to pay any difference the in exchange rate but NO Oakley customer service only suggestion is to take them back to Bangkok ! No shop will exchange / no problem I will send them at my cost to the on-line returns and pay any difference in the new pair my son chooses. STILL NO
Let me make this clear I have a brand new pair of Oakley sunglasses with all receipts in original box and all packaging. THEY WILL NOT EXCHANGE because I brought them in an airport ! Pathetic

Avoid them at all cost…

If Only i had read all the reviews previoudly to my order i would have never made this purchase. I ordered custommed sun glasses black iridium polarized, what i received were just plain black glasses. custommer service is terrible. i have sen't deveral email with photos of the item received and yet still saying its what i have order. when they are not, going in circles explaining on the phone over and over the same thing. I'm waiting for a refund. will never be buying again from this company.

Stunning incompetence

Stunning incompetence - Ordered prescription glasses, provided my prescription at order - four times over the next few weeks they contacted me to request my prescription, it became a running joke! After waiting another week I called again, this time to be told they couldn't complete my order! Awful customer service and truly stunningly poor communication - This is a major brand, I really don't think they want to be selling direct!

Utterly shocking customer service

Utterly shocking customer service. Parcel was claimed to be delivered and a photo of a parcel outside the house by UPS was shown, however the parcel was NOT there when my partner went to look. I only knew about the delivery when I happened to check the tracking. My partner was in and the UPS driver did NOT even attempt to knock or ring either door bell.
A proof of delivery photo should be showing the parcel in the hands of the customer with the front door open proving that this has been effectively delivered. Showing just a random photo does not prove anything.
Oakley literally washed their hands of this after my lengthy email and didn’t even respond for weeks. Just shocking service and all I want is my jacket, it’s not like I’m after a refund, just the item paid for.
Just utterly lost for words

Oakley's that fail in sunlight

Had the surface of my Oakley sunglasses delaminate, The surface looks like it is bubbling as if they were exposed to acid, I would never have expected this from Oakley, I was told they are 'over two years old so they are out of warranty, but great news we will sell you a new lens for £100'. To have this happen from sunlight on a premium brand of sunglasses is unacceptable, If these were a cheap set I would have to admit 'you get what you pay for'. I paid full price for a premium brand and was offered a paltry discount on a new lens.
I had a set of Oakley's replaced in the 90's as they used to have great customer care, now you will receive very sympathetic emails but no replacement outside the two year warranty.
Sunglasses that delaminate in sunlight for a premium price, no thank you. I have three sets of Oakley's, oh, no now it's two, I will not be buying anymore.
Thanks for the offer of a £100 lens, sorry, that is not customer care, thst is charging a premium price to replace a poor product with a defect.
Goodbye Oakley!

Faulty product and the most terrible customer services. Never buying Oakley again!

I would rate this zero if I could or minus 5 in fact. I have just received a pair of custom cycling sunglasses and one of the spare nose pieces (the one I actually need) torn and come apart in my hands. I figured I would jump on their chat option and ask someone to send me a new one but noooo it’s not that easy.
The first agent said they would send me an email that would detail how to first return the damaged piece so they could send me a new one. Slightly surprised by being asked to return a bit of rubber worth less than a couple of pounds max for sunglasses in excess for £250, I did ask why but had no explanation. I then asked for the complaints process (as I am sure they have to tell you if you ask) the agent said they didn’t know the left the chat! They also did not send the email hence not replacement ordered.
I restarted the chat and started again but also asked for a transcript of the previous chat as per my right but was told this was not possible. I asked 5 times how to complain and who could get the transcript if the agent could do it and they just said they didn’t know! So here I am with my new sunglasses that I can’t wear and as they are custom I also cannot return them. To say I am upset is a massive understatement as I was looking forward to using them this weekend and showing them off. All I will be doing now is telling everyone what happened and not to buy Oakley!
I have bought Oakley previously I do like the cycling glasses but now I am aware of how dire their customer services are, I will never buy from them again.

Bad Customer Service and Booking System

Came to the Oakley Store in Kings Street, Covent Garden, London, UK for a 2pm appointment to have a prescription check. Arrived 10 minutes early. Was greeted in store and asked to wait to be served. At 2.15pm the store attendant came back to me and said that there has been a double booking for the 2pm appointment because they just installed a new system. They are currently attending to another 2pm appointment and wasn't sure when or how long it will take for them to finish taking care of that 2pm appointment. Was then asked to come back at 5pm. I rejected the offer and asked whether I can wait for "the other 2pm appointment" to finish and come after that, but the store attendant said it would not possible because they already have "other double bookings that comes after that". Didn't want to complain about the staffs who work there, but rather complain about the "new system" that allowed double bookings. I ask to meet the duty manager but they said that Ricc was busy with other things. So disappointed to receive this kind of service from Oakley. Especially from one of its flagship stores located in a prime area. Please take this as an input to make your system better.

A company which treats you with contempt

I order a £10 glasses cleaner. They delivered via Evri which obviously never arrived. Tracking showed it was lost in Evri warehouse. It was there a week. As soon as I contacted Oakley to send a replacement the tracking suddenly showed as delivered a week ago.

So the only way I could get a replacement was to complete the most awful form known to man. Submitting Identity, completing documents that you are willing for the police to search your house for the item. Etc etc

Seriously do not ever buy from a company that treats you with such contempt.

Two £200 pairs of sunglasses missing.

Ordered sunglasses that were supposedly delivered by Evri but never arrived. Had a fake proof of delivery of the parcel being held under a letter box with a note saying handed to customer.

Contacted Oakley with great difficulty, there is no way to phone them and a replacement was organised.

I have waited in for delivery but now have an email saying delivery was attempted when it wasn't. It has another fake proof of attempted delivery this time, that is a photograph of the floor and a GPS tag that is not on my street.

Order a £200 pair of sunglasses and they use the cheapest delivery firm possible and make it difficult for you to contact them.

Rubbish

Really disappointing. Ordered 2 Radarlock replacement lenses, Ruby and Jade prizm. I have a Fire lens but the coating has come away on the nose. The new Ruby one looks the same as the Fire !!! I have Ruby in Custom Fuel Cells and they aren’t the same. So…. Got in contact, but think the only way to resolve this is to send both back. I would keep the Jade, but I now feel annoyed as I was looking forward to my new lenses, and now I can’t. Really hacked off.

Ripped off by Oakley Cancun

cancun airport from the Oakley store. Was told in the store a massively inaccurate exchange rate and they were £50 more than I was told they would be. When i got home I checked the online price in the UK, they were actually £100 cheaper in the UK than what I paid. Contacted Oakley Customer service who genuinely do not care. Took a long time to reply and when they allegedly investigated they said they aren't responsible for that store. The store was Oakley, they only sell Oakley, the receipt says Oakley, the bank charge says Oakley.
We've been buying this brand for years but won't again.

Sunglasses arrive, absolute rubbish, cheap and nasty in every way except the price
Takes over an hour to arrange return by phone , apparently computer was slow !!
Items returned and waiting on refund , you will wait the full 15 business days after they receive them before they refund money, when you contact customer services they cut you off, again due to slow computers seemingly , as yet refund not received as my 15 days isn't until Monday, disgusting customer service in every way , avoid at all costs , they are living on a name they threw away long ago when they went as cheap as they possibly could

Disinterested in their customers

Disinterested in their customers. Had an issue with glasses de-laminating. I appreciate issue arose outside formal warranty period, but was hoping for some level of good-will considering it should not happen. Never responded to two follow-up queries trying to get replacement part references.

I ordered a new pair of sunglasses and they are faulty. I’ve emailed twice, sent a message on social media and tried ringing. I’ve not spoken to anyone. Oakley is not cheap, I would expect better customer service from this company. I’m currently £170 out of pocket.

Oh Dear!! Not good

I've owned five pairs of Oakley glasses, one pair of prescription and four pair of sunglasses over approximately 15 years some bought myself and some as gifts, I make a point of looking after them very well but sometimes they can get damaged, this is when you find out that the aftersales and spares are actually poor or non-existant.
Now I have a collection of 14 pairs of sunglasses consisting of Oakley's and RayBans the quality of Oakley's I've found has never been very good, the coating on the lenses peels off after a very short time and looks untidy, the temple arms are extremely flimsy and break, the nose pads and temple socks soften and fail, the product code printed on the arms wears off leaving no identification of model or product to refer to.
To add insult to injury, when it's time to try and get help or spares, not a cat in hells chance!! They pass you from pillar to post, just try...always a new name, very rarely the same member of the support team. They continue to ask you for information and photos of your model of glasses then hand you to someone else who again asks you for exactly the same info. then when you tell them, they pass you to another member of the support team, it's never ending.
Talk about poor organisation, Oakley in my experience appear to be one of the most dysfunctional companies I've ever dealt with, until I looked at Oakley reviews I thought I might be the only one with issues, not so.
Needless to say, my hard earned money will never be used to purchase any product manufactured by Oakley again as there are many, far superior products available elsewhere.
My advice is check reviews before any purchase.
