Pretty poor experience. Nothing but posts about lost dogs and spam from service providers.

Also I used a tracking email and I am now sure that Nextdoor sold my email and other info.

If i could it would be a negative stars. Who ever makes the decision what is ok and not is a bias person. You cannot have your own opinion on stuff like what pipe is right or wrong. They infringe on your rights pretty close to breaking the law in not breaking it.

I tried to unsubscribe from Nextdoor, but they make it very complicated. There should be one button "unsubscribe from all", but no, you've got to individually unsubscribe from each category. There must be 100! Annoying posts. Fair warning!

Well I got back on NextDoor after leaving 8 years earlier due to it's liberal leaning censoring bias. I see NOTHING has changed. Just like the big social media companies did back in 2020-2022 per the mandates from the pedo, traitor, "big guys" regime to censor conservatives, NextDoor continues to do the same hiding behind the "guidelines" to justify it and leaving little to no recourse to defend yourself nor face your accusers specific allegations. Can you say NAZI, FASCIST tactics!

I only joined the nextdoor.com app to find a lost cat back in october.They blocked my business account.So I register with my legal name just to be blocked again.Saying that it was posting spam because I was sharing my neighbor's cats and I would ask, is this your cat.Apparently that is not allowed.So now the account is on read only. Weird

I signed up for NextDoor when I recently moved into a
new neighborhood in NC, in December, 2025. Within
two weeks I was indefintely blocked from using NextDoor without any explanation.
Have contacted NextDoor several times to learn the reason, without success. If I could give less than one star, I would.

You cannot state facts in this political enviornment without a moderator having a problem with your post even in political groups especially in Red areas. The area I live in is full of MAGA'S that are extremely averse to complaints about this administration.

I have no idea what I did, but everyone else seems to be able to say whatever they want. I did try to change my email address, something I do regularly for security purposes, but this site didn't like it. Thank you again, won't waste anymore time here.

this company represents itself as a “neighbourhood site” and claims to be welcoming to all. I and others have found this very far removed from the reality. It appears that local moderators and reviewers exercise power well beyond their remit and we have both been subjected to abuse and false and malicious reporting, as well as to breaches of privacy and confidentiality. It further appears that staff in Dublin take at face value reports received from these local volunteer moderators to the detriment of ordinary members.

I joined Nextdoor in Woodland Hills, California in July of 2025. In that short time. I was banned for a week, then banned for a month, all having to do with Trump. I was permanently banned for the following comment. Please tell me if I deserve to be banned for this comment.

A woman named Tracy posted the following,

"My least favorite thing about this new form of politics is the drive to divide. It seems to be crucial to one party to smash their beliefs into other people’s faces. I have never seen such hostile, offensive and self righteous behavior in my life! If one doesn’t see the same political beliefs they are deemed extremists and become mortal enemies. My neighbors are not my enemies. I will support my beliefs but continue to research other points of view. We all have the right to peacefully protest without facing violent reactions from the other side. Don’t mindlessly follow the pressure to divide. Even if we don’t agree, we are neighbors. Please don’t forget that."

A woman named Becky commented, "Beatrice, you don't think right" I looked at her page and saw she was a reviewer and I immediately took down the comment.

Within an hour, I was permanently banned.

It's ok for recommendations for services or products, but generally useless. In addition to moderators who exercise personal bias over objectivity, one must wade through nonsense posts of personal petty complaints. Clumsy app doesn't help. Overall, more irritating than helpful.

If I could give a negative star I would. Bunch of biased moderation. If it doesnt meet their views its deleted. They claim yiu break a rule but dang near every post is broke. They dont follow their own guidelines. Also made up with a bunch of bullies who If you dont like something just report on nonsense alone. And their own team who review these posts break the rules more than it can count. Hahha sensitive snowflakes here

First amendment doesn’t exist here!! They suspended my account because I was asking a question about a dog claiming I violated there national politics policy. Can’t make this up. Se picture below. We have a family of four. They then said only one account per address. Are you kidding? This is a left wing organization based out of Sanfrancisco California. Someone needs to investigate because the first amendment does not excist here.

Trash app that panders to ‘I have nothing better to do but sit around and play liberal loudmouth Karen’ trash. Spammed with ads, nobody is remotely interested in giving local advice/recommendations/experiences whatsoever. It doesn’t take someone with more than two working brain cell to see- comment and post deletions/suspensions/bans are politically motivated, and I’m sure depending on where you’re located.. it leans completely one way or another. Absolutely useless.

HORRIBLE TO THE NTH DEGREE. Was blocked from posting weeks ago for no good reason. I rreached out multiple times and am still blocked. HATE THAT SITE FOR THE KARENS WHO RUN IT AND ALLOW ABUSE OF GOOD USERS.

This app has continuous bugs. Probably worst app I've used.

They censure those that have conservative values. A member called Trump a pedophile and a Nazi and she is still on the site. I said the LGBTQ+ agenda was not to be celebrated, but shunned. That post got me removed. Liberal/progressive views are encouraged on this site. Disgusting.

NextDoor is totally AI generated now. I've been suspended because of their "preferred" NextDorians complained about something they did not like. Curious? One of their "regulations" about suspension is that you can not 'report' on a comment just because "you don't agree". My comment to these right wing conservatives was asking questions and asking for clarifications. But, because these 2 Nextdorian's --apparently their favored ones-- were able to cite me as somehow not following their rules and they were offended; that got me suspended. When I appealed this I got an AI generated message that it was denied. When I further appealed the denial with full explanation of why this was erroneous and completely targeting me, ND sent another AI message saying they were so concurred and would get back to me as soon as possible. -That was a week ago now. The kicker was, that the text was riddled with these curious little boxes that often follow AI text lines and words. And, not sure why some folks think this a liberal leaning platform. That has NOT been my experiences. MAGA lickers, Right Wing Conservatives, Christian Nationals, and Republican's in general, seem to hold the power in my NextDoor. And when you question them, give them reasons why they are not putting the truth out there, or they are echoing their leader's narratives --they do not like it and they'll get you kicked off by saying it's offensive. And because it goes to AI it just gets ticked off as automatic suspension. --A human is not reading this and making a discerning decision. At least, in my NextDoor, it seems the only one's taking offense and or "claiming offense' are the Right Wing Conservatives, Republicans, and MAGA lickers. The liberals and the Left are much more open to discussion and disagreement but they do not suffer fools! NextDoor is looking more and more like FOX news reporting in my opinion and experience!

Most aggravating app ever. It’s like putting a bunch of Karen’s in you phone blasting your feed all day. Don’t waisted your time unsubscribing, I’ve done it every day for a week! There is a cold place in Hell for whomever created this.
