Krijg zoveel mail, niet normaal. Op de website zoveel popups of ik nog meer mail wil en andere bs, hele site is onbruikbaar daardoor. Niet downloaden, het is het allesbehalve waard

The moderators seem to have their own agenda and will stop you from discussing anything that disprupts that agenda. Censorship is rampant

J’ai registrée mon compte particulier et j’ai ajouté mon compte professionnel, et dans 10 minutes mon page a été suspendue en disant que j’ai posté faux l’info. En contactant de service client pendant tout la journée passée par discussion pour rien en fait il m’a pas aidé. Et mon compte reste toujours bloqué pour rien.

Absurd irrational removal of uncontroversial offerings,fine if you have lost your cat or are looking for something for next to nothing. I will not know in future as leaving and blocking from now on.

Don't go there for help, you won't find any. You will find a bunch of bigoted, self-centered, useless gossip mongers is all. People just love to show how stupid they are on this site and won't even try to use it for help, I try to hire and buy from way outside of this area.

nextdoor used to be ok. now its too many ads and everybody is putting puppies and old dogs at risk by giving them away free, which puts them in the hands of dog fighting rings and horrendous deaths. Nextdoor is now maga and thats repulsive

Terrible nonexistent ‘support.’ Disables longstanding accounts that are barely used without any explanation. Also the selling/buying function used to be straightforward neighborhood transactions, but is now overrun by commercial ads. Complete lack of professionalism, has lost all usefulness.

I give Stamford, CT Nextdoor one star... mainly for connection to other neighbors and information sharing. The other four blank stars are for the moderators of my hometown of Stamford, CT's Nextdoor. Your First Amendment rights fly out the window. You are absolutely not allowed to say what you believe, nor share an opinion that sways from the narrative. This is by far one of the worst-handled sites online. If you were to visit, be careful... it's deceiving!

beware of nextdoor.....1 this is so true I have asked for a report for my suspension. I have not been given the reason for the suspension other than my account was restored. But I believe someone falsely reported me and I would like the report on how my account was suspended. Also, a post of mine was flagged and it didn't break any community guidelines. There have been many reports and comments from multiple neighbors saying rules/moderators are not being fair or compliant. The community guidelines and privacy policy contradict each other. 2 I was suspended then able to get back on 3 hovered over a persons post they had a comment I liked so sent them a message and got a nasty response then the permanently suspended me for typing you know which did not violate anything and she was the nasty one 4 nextdoor with there 24-48 hr get back is a lie as they ignore 5 if I call meself what I am they all have a bug claiming I violated guideline which is untrue as if I call myself names how am I a fending people makes no sense also lastly poster can never read english treat people like a retard with there comments the people already know and never give advice that has to do with the post

This site has really gone down hill. It started out on a social media site then became a controlled freak environment. Political comments get banned fast. Mods have too much power and if there is a bias decision, your account is banned like that. I move(ed) frequently for many years and I had to start a new account each time i moved. Instead of letting me transfer the account many mods just straight up banned it stating some sort of bs “violation of agreement”. I read through the I Agree clause unlike other people and I know that’s a half affed answer because I am careful what I post. This isn’t reddit so you need to be careful with your words and I am.

One neighborhood figured out who I was. Then started to stock and harass me like it was no big deal. I hate to say it but this was not what social media was for. I posted a thread that says whom ever decided to start stocking and hrass me with this site please stop before a cease and desist is sent out to the individuals involved. They just flat out banned me fast for doing so. This isn’t fairness. It’s fascism.

I am sickened in what I’m seeing in my next door feed. You have the bulk of it being over whelmed with ads mostly disgusting medical ads. You have people posting advertisements for their personal business hoping to scrap up a few customers. Which in my mind is very disrespectful and you can’t tell who is legit or not. I am tired of seeing pictures of porch pirates, dead animals, lost animals, stolen merch that is being resold as (theirs), people bashing others and other dribble along this line. Next door has tanked and gotten worse.

I lost how many accounts I’m on now and had to use facebook to get back in as it was a “new” account. I’m in a different neighborhood so it’s slim if anyone other than the system would notice. I have one for my home area and one for my work area so I can see what’s going on in the area around me. The mods have too much power and bias decide if they don’t like you and poof you’re gone for some shabby reason.

Before covid made everything political and divided us politically, this use to be a fun place to go. Now it’s full of haters, bias people and those that need to take a chill pill because they take things too seriously. This site should all out ban ice posts because I am tired of seeing extreme disturbing violence. It’s like when tick toc banned these posts and now reddit is flooded with them. Yet reddit doesn’t do anything and I’m fed up seeing this bs.

Next Door is without a doubt the worst site on the entire internet. There are a lot of complaints of Nextdoor having a left wing bias which could be true for some people. I am a Liberal and was banned within a month of joining in one city and a year later when I moved to another city and tried again . . . I was banned permanently within two months for expressing my views and I was in no way disrespectful. The site is moderated by neighbors and if they don't like you, they flag everything you post and if there is enough flags, the higher ups who ban people, just ban you. Not a suspension, just permanent ban. They keep all your information but you cannot see it or access it. However they do not delete it either. It is a Data Mining site that could care less about its users once it has the user's personal data. They even ask for a Government ID which no other site does and they falsely claim it is to keep bots or people that are not local away. This is a lie in my experience. Stay away from Nextdoor

I've been trying to delete my profile and unsubscribe for years now. It's impossible. I just want to delete my account and have repeatedly tried. I've also repeatedly reported Nextdoor emails as phishing. Just let me leave.

I was on this site for about a month, and then I was cut off and told to contact them to reinstate my account. I was told to continue I had to email them a copy of my driver's license and ss #. I told them where to go and this person is no chump.

I had never gone on to Nextdoor for my neighborhood until I found a lost pet cat and I wanted to get it out to people in the area. All I did was register and put up a notice that said "found cat near this intersection in this subdivision" and a photo of it and I was immediately banned indefinitely without any given reason.
Given that from what I could see scrolling in it there is little besides advertising for questionable products/services, I find it hard to believe a "found pet" notice is in some way unacceptable but I guess that tells us what we need to know about this site.

I've been targeted by nextdoor moderators. After just coming back from a 30 day suspension for made up reasons of breaking guidelines, Monday after the Super Bowl, there was a discussion about the half-time show. I commented that I didn't like it and I switched to the alternate show by TPUSA, and liked it much better, I was then met with a barrage of hate filled, name calling, insulting. and condescending comments, one of the people involved in that, had moderator next to her name. Now being tired of having just about every comment I make, reported and removed, and after numerous suspensions, I decided to give a little taste of their own medicine, so I went through the post and reported every comment that contained bullying, offensive name calling, disrespect, and condescending remarks, only to find out the next morning, that my account had been indefinitely suspended for breaking guidelines, now talk about being railroaded, this is a perfect example. I will say that I am conservative, and widely known because I belong to a private group that's conservative, and anyone can see that by checking my profile, all of my troubles with suspensions started after joining the group. I guess there's nothing I can do about it, there's no one I can call or email about this, it's like the inmates are running the asylum!

I was stupid enough to try Nextdoor and have been trying to unsubscribe ever since. That was 3 years ago and they still send me unwanted emails. I gather I am not alone.
