Next door is one of the worst companies in this i've done nothing wrong and they claim I was spam spamming I don't know even what spam is i have no clue what it is i've never spammed anybody so I don't even know what it is and half the time I don't even read my junk mail unless it's from somebody I know and it ended it accidentally ends up in my junk mail but they also claim I made some comments about something tool the neighborsAnd all I did was make people laughI said some funny stuffAbout an a couple of experiences I hadWhat they did also do recently is a friend of mine wanted me to post for herAbout her business which I didAnd all of a sudden I go toLogin to my account and without any warningThey suspended me indefinitelyI started putting my business on there and they kept my pictures they have no right keeping someone's pictures andBy Massachusetts state law they're supposed to tell youWhy they're suspending you what you've done wrong and give you a chanceTo appeal your case but they didn't do that.I'm glad that people are putting reviews on here and exposing them for what they truly areGood for all of you.Being honest I just sent themAn email,Telling them I want my pictures back because it's my property and not theirs they have no right keeping someone's pictures, They have to send them back.They're just a really bad Company. I was suspended after reporting a user, Phyllis Kinnally, for behavior I found threatening toward my family. She made a comment about something bad happening to me, my daughter or my sister. Instead of addressing a legitimate safety concern, the platform chose to silence the person who reported it. That’s not moderation—it’s a failure of responsibility.
At this point, it’s hard to view this as a true community platform. It feels increasingly like an unmoderated space where harassment is overlooked, threats go unaddressed, and questionable behavior is allowed to continue unchecked. The inconsistency—and apparent bias—in enforcement is deeply concerning.
A platform that ignores serious reports while penalizing those who raise them isn’t just poorly managed—it actively enables the very behavior it claims to regulate. That should concern anyone who expects even a basic level of safety and accountability.
I will be sharing this experience locally so others are aware of what they may encounter here.
For the record, I am also reporting the threats made BY Phyllis Kinnally - A MAGA LOVER toward me and my family to the appropriate authorities. Unlike this platform, I take those matters seriously.

Nextdoor.com is an anti 1st amendment company. If you say ANYTHING that they don't agree with they will terminate your membership. This a VERY WOKE and DEI supported site.

Great for meeting neighbors sharing ideas news and updates and a great place to promote your business.

I must say that my experience with Nextdoor has been extremely disappointing and concerning, especially as a business professional.
I was blocked on Nextdoor simply for responding to a concerned citizen who was actively seeking a builder by recommending a company I currently work for.
I believe this is a legitimate and relevant response, especially since it was not spam or any form of unsolicited advertising.
I believe I have lost actual business opportunities and client queries, and this is very concerning, especially for a platform that prides itself on community and local businesses.
What is of more concern, however, is that while legitimate and helpful recommendations are considered to be against their policies, offensive and inappropriate comments are still allowed to be visible, giving the impression that their policies are not being implemented fairly or with any kind of consideration.
At this point, it becomes hard not to think that perhaps some users or businesses are being treated differently. Being transparent and fair are key in building trust, and in this case, this has not been possible.
Not only do policies like this hurt businesses, but they also hurt residents in their ability to access quality local businesses.
I would really encourage Nextdoor to look into their moderation policies and ensure that they are being implemented in a fair and unbiased manner.
At this point, I would not recommend this site for business use.

I run a local building company in Farnham with over 10 years of honest service and positive reviews.
Both my account and my partner’s account were blocked without warning, even though we only replied to neighbors asking for builders and never spammed.
As a result, we lost contact with clients, and neighbors were denied access to reliable local services.
Blocking honest businesses harms the community and lacks transparency. I hope Nextdoor restores accounts for legitimate local businesses.

Non fa niente se poi vedi sulla piattaforma un sacco di account che hanno anche nomignoli stupidi,ma quelli agli amministratori vanno bene. Se qualcuno vuole unirsi, io avrei idea in qualche modo di far chiudere definitivamente questa piattaforma, tanto non serve a nulla,gente che chiede e neanche ti risponde quando li contatti.e questi il loro unico problema sono i nomi? So many spams. Immediately after I posted a listing, two people reached out insisting on paying me right now before the pick-up and asking for my Zelle.

I reported the two accounts and nothing happened to them.

A moment later I found that my own account had been indefinitely suspended.

Any platform the censors God and Jesus is part of the problem in america. IN GOD WE TRUST. Moderators are able to target and make up any excuse to ban people. Especially if its not for a leftist agenda. Nextdoor billionaires have created an environment toxic for your character and detrimental to your mental health. This app need to be abolished.

I would not recommend the Nextdoor app. My experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning. There are users posting inappropriate comments, including sexual remarks, which makes the platform feel unsafe rather than community-focused.

What’s even more frustrating is how reports are handled. Each time I’ve reported problematic content, my account was quickly restricted instead of the issue being properly addressed. Recently, after reporting a post, my account was blocked indefinitely with no clear explanation or way to regain access.

Customer support is also very poor. Attempts to contact them are ignored, and there is no direct way to speak with anyone for help or clarification.

Additionally, many users don’t have profile pictures, which makes it difficult to know who you’re interacting with. The app is also cluttered with repetitive posts about jobs, cleaners, and “man and van” services, which takes away from its purpose as a neighbourhood community platform.

Overall, this app does not feel safe, transparent, or well-managed. I would not recommend it.

Since I wasted an hour of time to carefully write an honest review to have wiped out when I was prompted to log in to trust pilot Im gonna keep it simple when I say that I agree with the many 1 star reviews on here. As someone who witnessed it all over a year.

I would give ZERO stars, if possible. I was suspended for reporting a member profile to NextDoor Support who was offering "fool around" (sex) to men. "She" has an "open marriage" and wanted to reach out to men to contact her.
Guidelines on ND only apply to those who agree with the far left-wing agenda of NextDoor Support, their leads and their moderators. If you are a conservative and a moderator or a lead you are targeted to be suspended or removed. Upholding their "guidelines" is a total joke. Only applies to whom THEY want to protect. NextDoor upholds the comments of hate, rudeness, snarky of those people they agree with. The neighborhood has turned to hate on each other and NextDoor app should be eliminated.
So, here is the response I got back after my appeal for being suspended was denied. Mind you, there are numerous posts and comments from people who ARE uncivil, hateful, rude, snarky, constantly go against "the guidelines" who are reported BUT NextDoor refuses to do anything about them. In fact, if you report them it is YOU who gets suspended temporarily or permanently. Here is the reply "I" got back from them today - "I'm sorry to hear about your account suspension appeal being denied. I've reviewed the appeal and confirmed that your content/account was in violation of our Community Guidelines. Specifically, Uncivil comments or attacks. Nextdoor is a place for open conversations about what matters in your neighborhood. It’s okay to disagree, but always keep it respectful and focus on ideas—not personal attacks. This is how we build stronger communities together. On Nextdoor, your neighbors are real people—living right down the street or around the block. The way we speak with each other shapes our communities. When conversations stay civil and constructive, everyone benefits."
Talking about HYPOCRITES! Stay away from this social media - they have their own agenda and they play a one-sided game. You can't post, comment or even react unless you are upholding THEIR viewpoints. Some decent rich person needs to buy Nextdoor or shut it down. Evil is good, good is evil now. And Nextdoor is certainly NOT in the good category!
Oh, and I replied that I wanted to know EXACTLY the "uncivil" remark I had made since I wasn't able to access my account. NO reply yet. Of course not. It's THEIR agenda and if you don't agree with them, you get suspended.
I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and the police dept where this person who made that post resides. Kansas law re: soliciting sex on social media isn't to be taken lightly.

I have just been suspended because I responded to a post about gas prices. In my response, the moderators evidently didn't like the facts that I presented. There were several responses to the original poster, and have they all been suspended? I doubt it. After many of my posts/comments have led to suspension, I get the feeling that the moderators are "out" for me. Is this paranoia. No. NextDoor is a very liberal organization so Conservative posters beware.
