Non Existent Customer Service

I purchased a piece of Furniture which developed a crack during warranty period. I went to the store and emailed customer service with the issue but no reply after repeated chasers. Their phone line is not staffed and even within open hours keeps on playing a message - no one is available to take the call.

Only purchase if you do not care about any post sales service.

Added on 13-April to respond to the response from NCF.
1. Tried calling the phone number again and again - no staff available to answer.
2. No responses on the emails sent- even copied the ceo email available from internet but no luck.
3. Connected on Facebook as well as suggested below but as usual no response.

In summary either it is a completely fraudulent company or is completely broke and close down soon.

Avoid NCF at all costs

Avoid NCF at all costs. I purchased a sofa for just under 2k from them, just before Xmas. The one i ordered was a grey Corner sofa and they delivered a brown one (how something that simple happened is beyond me). Because it was the festive period and the fact that I lived some distance away, I never got back to the showroom to complain until early February where it was confirmed that I ordered a grey one. After a few emails, back and forward, they told me that they couldn't take the brown one back due to the passage of time and point blank refused to give me the sofa in the colour that I ordered. I had decorated my room, and bought furniture to match a grey sofa - not a brown one. NCF were totally uninterested and offered me £100 as a "good will gesture". Absolute joke of a company!!!!!
And just for your info - the vast majority of their positive reviews are because the salesperson asks you to do that after your first interaction with them. I myself, initially, gave a positive review due to the salesperson being nice and friendly but it all went downhill after that.

Salesman Scott provided great service

Salesman Scott provided great service, not pushy but always available for anything. Nothing too much trouble, very friendly and most helpful. We bought 2 sofas thanks as much to Scott as the quality of the furniture itself. A great customer experience and we will return for sure.

Worst shopping experience ever

Terrible service, distressing experience. Bought 3+2 seater sofa plus stool.
Had floor plan, measurements gave access information at point of sale to salesman/shop manager. 8 weeks later took delivery. Delivery men couldn’t get 3 seater in straight standard height hallway. They didn’t try very hard and were rude. Said I’d just have to buy something smaller. Contacted customer care (no contact services phone number for shop). At no point during sale in shop was ceiling height mentioned or that standard ceiling height would be a problem. Explained this to customer services and was told I would have to pay 50% cancellation. At no point during sale was this mentioned either. It is in the small print on the invoice you receive after sale. Told customer services I was not paying cancellation fee when it was not my fault. Escalated to management and promised a return call. No return call in 48 hours despite phoning in every day. Had to travel to shop on 3rd day. Manager accepted responsibility, said they would redeliver and unpack sofa to get it in. Something the delivery men refused to do on the original delivery. Shop Manager said if it would not go in I could choose something else at no extra cost. 2 days later receive a call from customer services saying liability was mine. Received nasty email saying they would re deliver at my cost and if they couldn’t get it in they would leave it anyway, I’m presuming outside. Or I could choose something else and pay £200 admin fee. Responded by email I would take redelivery. No more contact from them to arrange this. 48 hours later I phoned back and was told they weren’t redelivering as I wouldn’t pay, when I clearly accepted the re delivery option by email 48 hours previously. I have now emailed them to say I have never experience such bad customer care, it’s has caused so much stress and worry. It’s a lot of money (50%) to loose through not being told standard ceiling height would be a problem. I have cancelled any further dealings with them, I cannot deal with the rudeness and the hostility any more. My bank has agreed to take up the dispute. All totally avoidable through better communication, better customer care and better information. Not blaming where no blame lies, not “ghosting” customers and not causing distress.

Con artìsts smooth talking sales people

Got fobed off when i had problem with relining arm chair do not buy from them if in edinburgh store go next door to the other store just want your money i will never buy anything from them again

Beware…My wife and I purchased a three piece suite graphic grey and two tables one console and one lamp table. We were given a date for delivery in June and we received the delivery two tables one graphic grey chair and the sofa and other chair silver grey . We went back to the store and complained to the manager who said sorry it was a human error we will correct the mistake it will take three weeks.
The three weeks came and went so we contacted the main office in Birmingham who told us that the suite had been ordered but wasn’t going to be ready until September. Having had the suite for four months we were faced with the seat cushions sagging and misshaped. We complained and sent photos all they said was sorry but we should dress and plump up the cushions regularly. Eventually after going through consumer advice they sent out an independent firm who actually do repairs for NFC living so not really independent to look at the suite. When the chap was in the house he agreed that we weren’t going to plump up the cushions every time someone sat on the suite. Another month passed and we emailed the company again to see what was going to happen and they replied

The technician has inspected the items in full and advised this is natural settlement of the interiors. As the interiors are foam interiors with a fibre pillow top they will require regular dressing and plumping to help retain the shape. 

Based on this assessment we would be unable to assist with this matter any further. 

The suite is not even 6 months old but looks done and I would say we were done with a cheap made suite.
