Excellent prices, fast delivery and great service from their staff. My sheets arrived in just three days. I compared their prices with similar companies but NIS came out tops

Bull, bluster and blather from salesman
Ordered Knauf 150mm insulation and paid these middlemen 62.50 for delivery.
Info duly arrived from CCF in Liverpool who were actually fulfilling the order!!!!!!! Strange?? Info on phone showed i was drop 5 of the day and that 100mm Knauf was on its way!!!!!? What?
Phoned NIS who looked at the order and said yes that is wrong we will stop the order. Therefore did not arrive.
The salesman Matt at NIS said he had personally persuaded the Managing Director at CCF to deliver ASP. Ye right.
Next day I had to ring again and was assured that CCF was on the case.
Next thing, a text appeared saying that Travis Perkins were delivering from Mold, another location!!!!
Travis Perkins, were exceptional, the driver was an ambassador for TP, and everything a British delivery driver should be. And they delivered a clean, dry and correct product. Thank you TP.
National Insulation Supplies appears to be a drop ship operation only, taking orders and then subbing out the delivery to a local merchant. This is madness and means a middleman takes a nice slice of the cake for just taking the order.
NIS attitude was very car salesman oriented, I felt the salesman was a del boy type waffler, accustomed to spieling off bull faeces.
I will not be using the Company again.

Hi Terry,
Thanks for your review, though we’re disappointed to see the tone and inaccuracies in your comments. We take pride in our work and go out of our way to ensure our customers are looked after, but your experience and review seem to misrepresent how things unfolded. We feel it's only fair to address the points you've raised to give future customers a balanced view.
Let’s start with your accusation of dishonesty during your initial inquiry. You asked us whether Knauf manufactures an uncut version of their Loft Roll 44. After confirming with our team and even calling Knauf directly, we informed you that this product had been discontinued years ago. We provided their representative’s name (Rachel) and their direct number so you could verify this for yourself.
Despite this effort, you called us liars and claimed we were spreading false information. This was completely untrue. What’s frustrating is that we went above and beyond to ensure the information we gave was accurate. We didn’t just rely on internal knowledge—we double-checked with the manufacturer to provide you with the correct answer. The fact that you then chose to place an order with us after such an accusation was baffling. If you truly believed we were lying, why trust us with your order?
Frankly, we were hesitant to take your order because of the tone and disrespect shown in your earlier communication. However, we decided to proceed because we believe in treating all customers fairly, even when they’re difficult to deal with. Unfortunately, our concerns were justified, as your behaviour during the order process was consistent with your earlier interactions.
Yes, we are a dropshipping business:
That’s not something we hide—it’s how we can offer highly competitive prices while working with trusted suppliers. You could have gone directly to them, but we save our customers money by leveraging the trade discounts we’ve earned through years of high-volume purchasing. Additionally, we handle the legwork—sourcing products, coordinating logistics, and ensuring orders are fulfilled smoothly—saving our customers significant time and effort. Dropshipping is a widely accepted practice in online retail, used by many major companies, including Amazon.
Delivery costs:
Yes, the delivery fee is £62.50, and that’s what it costs to get bulky insulation material shipped to North Wales. It’s clearly stated at checkout, and you agreed to it when placing your order. We don’t profit from delivery charges — Most customers understand this is what it costs to move large, heavy items.
The supplier mistake:
Now, about the delivery confusion—yes, an error occurred, and the wrong product was sent initially. As soon as we noticed, Matt jumped on the phone to sort it out. He arranged for the correct product to be delivered the next day, and Travis Perkins stepped in to ensure you received exactly what you ordered. We apologised for the mistake, but despite our best efforts to fix it quickly, you were rude to our team, hanging up mid-conversation multiple times.
It’s worth clarifying that Matt didn’t claim to have "persuaded" a managing director at CCF. He simply worked with our national sales manager at CCF to get the issue resolved as fast as possible. He always strives to help our customers and is far more of a Rodney than a Del Boy!
We encourage anyone reading this review to check our overwhelmingly positive reviews and judge for themselves the type of company we are. We also suggest taking a look at the reviews Terry has left for other businesses on Trustpilot to gain a broader perspective.

Good price for the product ( Celotex)…
Good price for the product ( Celotex) helpful staff on the phone. Not quite 5 stars because the ‘track my parcel’ function didn’t work , and the email saying ‘goods will be delivered today’ actually arrived the day after they were delivered. So only by luck was I at home.
