Dreadful customer service.
Totally have destroyed my phone
Been in 4 times now to ask why and every time they lie.
They repaired my screen after I smashed it... but I can not ever access my phone since.. it takes me 30 minutes plus to even finally get the phone to spark up.
I feel that they have taken important data out of my phone to use for themselves and I now have my phone which is totally dud.
Terrible experience... Peterborough.
Paid over 100 to have a screen saver and still I have a phone that is completely useless

Having made no progress when I contacted the local Apple Store regarding a prospective iPad repair (I was merely referred to their support app which I could not download as my secondary device was not upgraded to the requisite IOS level) I sought assistance from the local FoneWorld shop in George Street, Hove. In response to my phone call I learnt that they could assist with charger port repairs on tablets as well as phones, which was encouraging.

Accordingly I visited the shop and on initial inspection was informed that it would be necessary to “open up” the tablet to determine the repair necessary, and to provide a quote for the cost of effecting any repair possible. I agreed to leave the tablet with the assistant and to await a response by phone in about 2 hours.

I received a call from “David” about only an hour later confirming a replacement port would have to be fitted and the cost of effecting the repair. I agreed to have the repair completed which I was informed could be undertaken within half an hour. I extended this time to about 75 minutes as there was no rush and I was dependent on the local bus company for my journey.

The tablet was ready for collection when I returned to the store and the assistant who served me demonstrated the repair had been completed and that most importantly the tablet was now charging up, which had not been possible before. I was well satisfied with the work undertaken at the quoted price of £80, and was even more satisfied when I discovered that the “Home” button was working more positively than before, that sound had been restored, and that the tablet was working smoothly (rather than flitting from one app to another) - all 3 of these faults having developed as a disastrous consequence of the fall (albeit onto a carpetted floor) which had resulted in the “lightning” charging port having been “written off”.

Given that I had feared the whole tablet was perhaps a write off, and that my primary concern was that I would have no means of retrieving years of “strategy” gameplay, it was a real bonus that not only was the charging capability restored but that the other faults that developed as collateral damage from the tablet falling were resolved.

I am thus very pleased with the standard of work undertaken within a short timespan as quoted, and given that I had only specified I needed the port being repaired/replaced, and had accepted the quote on this basis, I was very pleased (and relieved) that your staff were able to restore my tablet to ts previous good working order. From my experience with your Hove shop I staff would be pleased to recommend this service to any friends experiencing the same situation with their tablet or phone, and this is the reason I sought out the Trust Pilot website to provide this favourable review.

Adman at fone world was amazing, fixed my phone in no time - when others had failed. I had a software issue, thought all was lost but he managed it. Really affordable and saved me spending loads on a new phone.

I went into Fone World George Street, Hove, Sussex today 30/3/23 and saw two young men one by the name of Tejas. My Apple mobile phone fell into the gutter in London.There had been torrential rain and it was soaked - no reception! I took it into the store and was surprised to hear something could be done. Very efficient,very polite and competitively priced. Very good

Fone World, the Lexicon, Bracknell. I've been having mobile phone issues this week and the guys in Bracknell have been extraordinarily helpful. Their patience, perseverance and friendliness are outstanding.

Visited the store in Brighton (opposite TKmaxx). My grandad and I were served by Ahmed. Ahmed has been such a professional, provided an honest opinion on the state of the phone's software, cleaned up the space on the phone, while being kind offering the grandad a seat as it took circa 30min to get the phone up and running. Thank you very much Ahmed!

Really helpful and friendly people in the store in Cambridge and solved my problem with the charging port in two minutes. Thank you.

Excellent customer service. Hamza and Danii in Oxford did a great job - my phone was totally defunct. They mended it, and accidentally chipped the screen and sorted it out from their own cash. Beyond and above!

Had my samsung A50 mic repared at Fone World in the Oxford city centre. Danii & Hamza were very professional and did a great job. Highly recommended.

My partner took her phone in to be repaired 5 weeks ago. (Merry Hill Dudley) The poor excuses about it being delayed and that it’s been sent off for repair is shocking. The phone still not fixed so requested a refund, and guess what another excuse the manager isn’t in until Thursday another two days ( nearly 6 weeks ) and only he can authorise.
Stay away is my advice !!

Disgraceful customer service. Happy to take £100 off me to fix screen. After 6 weeks it failed. Clearly wasn’t fixed properly. Shop refused to put this right. Never use this shop - I have had far better experiences with alternative shops in ipswich.

Recently bought my new phone from Foneworld in Bath. Hamza was extremely helpful and sourced my new phone efficiently. Overall a very professional service. Many thanks.

Pure and simple - if you want to pay 100 pounds for a sheet of highly breakable glass on your iPhone then go ahead; this is a rip off and the glass does not last 5 mins

Never thought my phone would work again. Dropped my phone from my bike, at speed, totally smashing the screen to pieces. The two guys at the Derby store had it fixed and back to me the next day ready to go on my hols. Really good service and two really friendly folks to sort it.

Had my Samsung A41 screen replaced today and screen protector fitted, very professional and polite would recommend 100%.
