1st experience with Mycardirect
I've had a car from mycardirect for 2 months over the summer. At the beginning, not being used to car subscription service and was unfamiliar with the site interface, I found myself to be little lost. Additionally, as I was taking the car to Europe, there were some hurdles along the way, but everything was sorted out in the end, and I was very happy with the car and the service provided. Tony was especially helpful throughout the entire process—we must have spoken dozen of times overall. He always had plenty of time for me and my queries, making the process easy. Thanks again Tony. Let's do it again next summer!"

Credit control department let down. Sales - good, Credit control immature. Avoid
I had initially high hopes for MyCarDirect, as they offered a promising service that seemed to fit my needs perfectly. However, my experience with their credit control department has completely soured what could have been a positive relationship.
From the beginning, the credit control team displayed a lack of professionalism and a heavy-handed approach that was both frustrating and unnecessary. Despite my consistent and timely payments, I found myself constantly harassed with erroneous notices and demands. It became clear that their system is either poorly managed or the team lacks the competence to handle accounts accurately.
Their customer service in this area is also subpar. Instead of addressing my concerns and correcting their mistakes, they seemed more interested in passing the blame or pushing back, adding unnecessary stress to what should have been a straightforward process. I’ve dealt with other companies in the past and never experienced this level of incompetence.
The negative interactions with the credit control department ultimately overshadowed any benefits MyCarDirect's service might have offered. It’s a shame that a single department can ruin an entire relationship, but unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened here. I cannot recommend MyCarDirect if this is the level of service they provide.

I just wrapped up my lease contract with the company, and I have to say, I couldn't be happier with the customer service I received. From day one, they impressed me with their quick responses, professionalism, and friendly vibes. Every time I reached out with a question or concern during my 9 months contract, it felt like they treated me with the same care and attention as if it was our first interaction.
They really went above and beyond to make my leasing experience smooth and enjoyable, tackling any obstacles that came my way with honesty and a commitment to excellence. A special shoutout to Emma—she was incredibly helpful and always had a friendly approach . And Tony deserves a mention too; he was amazing and really opened doors for me especially at the beginning when I needed help.

I have recently sourced a short term business lease car from Mycardirect and I highly recommend them. I have been dealing with Tony Kandola who was just exceptional, he managed to sort a car for me and have this delivered with 3 days, constantly keeping me updated and seeing the deal through until it was delivered. First class service and first class help from Tony, thanks again and very much appreciated.
MyCarDirect's Daylight Robbery: Unacceptable Customer Service and Outrageous Fine Policies
I am absolutely appalled by the outrageous practices and horrendous customer service of MyCarDirect. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others about their disgraceful conduct.
Recently, I incurred a simple Dartford Crossing charge of £2.50. Instead of notifying me about this minor charge and giving me a chance to pay it myself, MyCarDirect took it upon themselves to pay the £2.50. While this might seem like a small convenience, they then had the audacity to slap on an extortionate charge of £40! That's right—a £2.50 charge turned into a £42.50 penalty thanks to their ridiculous and unfair policy. To make matters worse, they added VAT at 20%, bringing the total to an astonishing £50.50!
This is nothing short of daylight robbery. MyCarDirect is essentially stealing from their customers, using minor infractions as an excuse to impose outrageous fees. Their customer service is non-existent; they don’t communicate these charges beforehand, and when confronted, their responses are unhelpful and dismissive. They are completely indifferent to their customers' frustrations and concerns.
To anyone considering using MyCarDirect, I strongly urge you to think twice. There are far better car companies out there with fair policies and decent customer service. MyCarDirect’s business practices are deceitful and predatory, and they should be avoided at all costs.
Save yourself the headache and financial exploitation—look elsewhere for your car needs. MyCarDirect is a scam, plain and simple.

Was in need of a car lease quickly and the team at Mycardirect (both Tony and Emma) were amazing. I received the vehicle within a few days of applying and the service was seamless. Can highly recommend this service.

I needed transport for a short term fix and these guys were the shortest lease period I could find. Reasonable charges and subsequently very efficient in there service and the handling of the whole process. I dealt with a guy called Tony, very professional and helpful from start to finish.

Have had a terrible experience with…
Have had a terrible experience with MyCarDirect. A number of different issues that include them double billing me on multiple occasions and me having to flag it, conflicting guidance on pick up dates that lead to them charging additional costs, and finally when they pick up the car we were charged almost £1K for the cost of 2 barely noticeable scratches. They are the kind of company that will do anything to extract every extra bit of money out of you.

I had an issue with the car on the first day but wasn’t of their making, I got a different car delivered a few days later due to the hassle it would be to get it looked at.
The servicing / breakdown aspect when things go wrong I have to admit, wasn’t the best but that’s outsourcing for you. As I’m a new customer I’ll refresh this review as and when required as servicing becomes relevant.

month contract and from start to finish the process was an easy and user friendly experience with very helpful customer service staff. I ended up extending my agreement and it was handled very easily with no hassle or fuss. I will definitely use this service again! Highly recommend!
Brilliant My Car Direct
Wow. What an utterly superb service and range of vehicles to choose from (ICE & EVs) at My Car Direct. I needed a car for a few months while I waited for my new salary sacrifice car to arrive. My Car Directs proposition of flexible subscription ticked all the boxes. Day to day I only need a run around to get to business meetings. However having the option to upgrade to a bigger vehicle for weekends aways with the family has proven to be a godsend. The whole experience was effortless, made easy by great knowledgable and friendly staff. I 100% recommend My Car Direct to anyone looking to fix a short term need or a longer term one with their highly flexible car subscription solutions. 10/10 on all fronts.
