In a Panic
I was in a panic as discovered the GPS had a GLICH for my address, I texted customer Support to inform them of this and provided a closer address which would put the driver a block away. Customer support was very understanding and reached out to their team and contacted the driver...NEEDLESS to say as I was finishing up with customer support the drivers where pulling up to my apt. The 2 gentleman were very nice, the put everything together in record time once I showed them where everything was to be plced..they even took the trash with them,😊 asked if I was satisfied and to which I replied MOST DEFINITELY....

The three men who delivered the furniture were early, friendly and knew what to do in set-up. They even asked me to look over their work before they left. I was very happy with their work.

BOB'S GIVES OUT YOUR INFORMATION JUST ASK
The sales girl was okay, there was a problem and she focused on the other person not me and I decided not to move forward with the sale. A lady accused my dog of biting her child. Crazy does not deserve any kind of conversation I left - the sales girl kept saying I feel bad and my fried said she was not hurt she was scared and her mother should have walked around with her not in between three adults and two dogs. The manager when the woman asked for it gave him my phone number - PRIVACY didn't they teach their staff you do not give out customer information? Meanwhile my dog is quarantined and it wiIl cost me $50 which I plan on getting back 10 fold when I file a lawsuit for my privacy being violated and him giving a stranger my phone number omg you have been warned any idiot would have known you do not do that and he is a manager!!!!!
Terrible Service – Never Again
I scheduled a delivery with Bob’s Discount Furniture for 10:00 AM and waited at home all day. At 3:00 PM they suddenly canceled my delivery without even calling or informing me. I took the day off from work just for this delivery, and they completely wasted my time.
When I called customer service, the representatives, supervisor, and manager I spoke with were not professional or helpful. All they did was repeat that they “understand,” but they didn’t actually do anything to fix the problem. It really felt like nobody wanted to take responsibility.
On top of the bad service, the quality of the furniture is low for the price I paid. Based on my experience, I will not be buying from Bob’s again and I do not recommend anyone purchase from them.

If you have a deadline, a move-in date, or simply value your sanity, DO NOT shop at Bob’s Discount Furniture.
We placed our order on August 5th. We were moving into a new home and explicitly made the store attendants aware of our timeline. We had a packed schedule of life events: a housewarming, a birthday, and hosting Thanksgiving. We needed this furniture.
Today is December 1st. Four months later. We have missed every single one of those milestones without a complete home. We spent our housewarming and Thanksgiving embarrassed and inconvenienced because Bob’s cannot figure out basic logistics.
The level of incompetence here is staggering:
1. The Sales Lies: We bought a Queen bed set and were explicitly told by the sales rep that it did not require a box spring. That was a lie. We set it up only to realize it was unusable, forcing us to run out and buy a box spring out of pocket just to sleep on a mattress.
2. The Delivery Chaos: Nothing arrived on time. Most items didn't show up until November—three months late. When the bed set finally arrived, it came without the dresser. When they finally scheduled the dresser, it arrived without the mirror. Another appointment, another day wasted waiting for someone to screw on a mirror.
3. The Final Insult (The Dining Table): Our dining table arrived in pieces throughout November. The final component, after waiting months, was delivered yesterday (Nov 30). The result? They forgot the screws. The delivery team told us the hardware wasn't in the box.
Now, after waiting since August, I am being told I have to wait another month for them to simply ship screws and schedule a technician to assemble it. We are looking at a 5-month fulfillment time for standard furniture.
This has been the single worst consumer experience of my life. Corporate needs to intervene immediately, but frankly, the damage is done. If you are moving, go anywhere else. Bob’s has ruined our move-in experience, our holidays, and our trust

Super nice people
I had a great experience at the Roseville Store. I found the store super clean, with a HUGE inventory. Lots of good sales going on and the sales people will really work with you on pricing and financing. I was very impressed and purchase a sectional couch. I received it, delivered to my house in perfect condition and the delivery guys did not even give me a hard time about all the stairs. All in all, had a great experience and will go back for future furniture needs

Eric was very helpful and made the experience very easy. Bob’s had a more unique selection of dining sets than anywhere else we had been and after looking at it on and off for quite some time, we decided to buy it and are glad we did. It is going to look very nice in our dining room and they are going to deliver in just 2 more days (3 from when we purchased it), which is perfect because Thanksgiving is coming.

The Dedham location was very open, clean, and inviting. Our sales person (who I think was named Cheryl, I'm not great with names) listened to our needs and showed us options that fit without being pushy. She showed us lots of info on the Bobs return, delivery, and insurance policies which was very helpful as this was our first time making a large furniture purchase.
