On November 24, 2025, I signed up for Musicbed intending to download a single piece of music. When I saw the $99.99 charge, I mistakenly believed it was a one-time or annual fee. I take responsibility for not reviewing the subscription terms carefully at the time.
Starting January 8, 2026, I was charged $99.99 monthly (January, February, and March). Once I realized what was happening, I immediately contacted customer service. I explained the situation and offered a reasonable compromise: I was willing to pay for the track and even one additional month due to my oversight. I then asked if they could cancel the subscription and reverse the most recent charge.
I was informed that I am obligated to continue paying for the remainder of the annual term under the contract.
I contacted American Express to dispute the charges and block further billing. In a follow-up call with Musicbed, I was told that if I removed the dispute and paid an additional $199.99 (two more months), they would proceed with cancellation.
That outcome did not feel reasonable to me.
I’m sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision.

they helped me cancel a subscription after it was already renewed! We weren't using the system anymore. I would've preferred a subscription renewal reminder before the payment hit.

They replied to all my emails, and some of the emails does sound stupid even to me...but they took time to respond to all

5 Stars for genuinely amazing customer support & service overall. I had started my subscription on musicbed as a free trial. I quickly realized that at the moment it was not a service that I personally needed just yet and wanted to save money so, I thought that I had completed the subscription cancellation process but I must not have because I got charged for the month & immediately contacted musicbed over email a little worried about asking for a refund but I had to ask and not only did they respond extremely fast, they truly understood the situation, canceled my subscription (for the moment, I will 100% be back) and refunded me without any hassle. Like I said, this is a great service and I will be back. Highly recommend checking them out!

Great experience with them overall!
I really appreciated the fact that once I subscribed to their platform they setup an intro call with me. On this call they walked me through everything in great detail. Such a nice personal touch that their team goes out of their way to do this.
The selection on this platform is incredible and I've yet to find a song I do not like... highly recommend!

I'm a Film & TV composer, and my first contact with Musicbed (back on April 6) was a warm and professional interaction with their Client Specialist, Sydney. She answered my initial questions well and offered to be of help if I had further inquiries.

Catalog is great but their website is terrible. Slow to a degree that it's unusable. As soon as I load up their website and start playing a couple of tracks it completely eats up my CPU. Tried it on several different computers and always the same issue. I did a Google PageSpeed insight report just to verify that I wasn't a "me"-issue, and it reports a staggering 17s to fully load the page O_O Aren't you guys using your own website? Speed and effecient should be priority #1 (after the music that is). The root cause seem to be they are using an javascript framework (react) to render the whole website, which is just so extremely heavy on the CPU. Anyone using react in 2026 is just a sad choice and it hurts business.
Why Musicbed, why? I just want to be able to scan for music tracks for our projects.
