Mr. Tire New Bern NC. Store 0346 Managed by Chris Smith, BUYER BEWARE, STAYBAWAY FROM THIS LOCAL. Incompetent mechanics, negligent, pictures of willful destruction by so called mechanic, complaints filed with consumer affairs, State NC attorney generals office, NC Governor letter, Craven county business license office, seriously considering legal action,..... NOT RECCOMENDED. Mechanic IS a hammer mechanic, SB fired!

Went in to get a nail removed and my tire plugged. I used them before. Now they got some gimmick that they have to replace your tire stem when they plug your tire (Which added an additional 20 dollar cost to the bill). I think I got taken for a ride. They need to inform customers of that fact before they plug their tire. I would have gone somewhere else had I known. Live and Learn. Buyer beware. They'll never get my business again.

Kayla was very helpful to me today while receiving an oil change for my car today. I just wanted to take this time to say thank you. Your kindness was appreciated.

Mr. Tire in Ephraim, NJ, “forgot” to do the tire rotation, left dirty rags in the car, filled out the new oil sticker incorrectly and pasted it over the remnants of the old one. I was also surprised that an extra quart of oil and various fees add up to $39 in addition to a $69 full synthetic oil change per the original Groupon price - seems like a bait and switch.

They charged us $40 per tire to mount and balance, there local competition charges$ 16.50 to mount and balance , we will not be giving them our business again, beware! Rockland Maine store

I brought my vehicle in for the oil change and tire rotation tonight. I reminded the technician that I definitely needed the tires rotated. It took one hour, which was fine, and then one more time I asked them if the rotation was done. Their response was "yes" I checked just to make sure and they were NOT rotated. I knew this because I marked one of them ahead of time. I went back in and confronted them about this issue and their response was that they would take car of it. I sat there another 20 minutes and my vehicle never budged so I just gave up and drove it home without the rotation. This is not the first time this has happened to me at this location....that is why I marked my wheel this time

I took a wheel into them for a simple flat repair. They quoted $60, I said that was very high but gave to go ahead. When I went to pick it up and looked at the invoice they charged me for a TPMS kit for $20.49. I said the wheel was from a car that did not have TPMS, they said it was "policy" to charge regardless. I went back a couple days later and asked to speak to a manager. Told him the story and he said he couldn't issue refunds but said he would forward it to their district management but didn't even both to make a copy of the invoice... never hear back from them. These guys take advantage of their customers... take your business somewhere else.

I have 2004 Excursion
After 1 1/2 hours I went up to desk to get update. They said they had to go get a bigger wrench for my tie rod adjuster sleeve which wouldn’t loosen. When I went into the back they were beating on the tires - they had pried open the clamp on the tie rod.
So I asked what the problem was they couldn’t get the adjuster sleeve to adjust the tires so they were beating on the tires to move it. Turning the sleeve they said both tires would move in the same direction - this is not correct. They acted like it was their first alignment when I left I only got paperwork for the alignment. When I got the truck home it sat for two days in driveway because of the rain. Then I went out to check the work the bolts on the sleeve were just hand tightened and I was missing the break on the tie rod. I called Mr Tires owner on delsea dr in Vineland to tell him. He said no way I must of touched it. I told him about the attempt at aligning my truck, and he said if I wasn’t happy, I could come back in and have it done again. I just wanted my money back. He refused to give my money back so my only recourse was to allow him to do it again or go to another mister tire. I wanted to go to a place up in Cherry Hill to have it realigned properly. I did bring it back to Mr. tire same circus, but now they had a ton of paperwork that they handed me on my truck. They now say it needs a total new front end. I won’t use this shop anymore. They have incompetent mechanics and a owner that needs the money badly because he cannot give refunds when he screws up.
If I hadn’t went out and checked his work, and I had an accident because it came apart, this story could’ve had a different ending - a terrible horrific ending. do not use this shop ever

Came in for tire change and front end alignment.  2 tires were only filled to 23 pounds of air, should have been 35.  Broke 2 TPMS sensors. Did NOT recalibrate sensors. Did NOT replace one valve stem cover. Put wrong milage on invoice (which would affect warranty of tires)  I have serious doubts now as to whether the alignment was done correctly.  WILL NEVER USE MR. Tire again!

Went to their Buckeystown location,with a already diagnosed oil pressure sensor need to be replaced,they refused my diagnostic even though I am a master electrician,charged me $99 to perform diagnostic, then they marked up a part from $38 to $178 plus labor the diagnostic cost and other miscellaneous,total $378 to screw in a part and plug wire on !
I told them I can get the part at Napa they told me the restaurant don’t allow people to go to the grocery store buy a steak so the restaurant can cook it for them!
Worst customer service response answer in the history of the world possible !
I then watch a lady came in the store with some custom head lamps and same guy received them from her without telling her you cannot bring your own steak to the restaurant!

It's the age-old story of going in for an oil change and being upsold unnecessary, expensive repairs. I wouldn't be so mad about those repairs if they actually did them properly. But my car has more problems now than it did before I brought it. I now have to go spend more money on repairs (elsewhere), and I missed work for what was quoted as a one-hour job. Furthermore, the customer service is disappointing at best. Avoid this company if you value your time, money, and sanity.

I dropped my car off at Fulton road canton Ohio location. Melissa at the front desk exhibits perfect customer service. She’s helpful. Kind. Professional. I will be back.

I was a 6 year customer at the Statesville and the Newton store. The changed management for the worst. I will be going to the BBB after this.

I feel fully violated upon my daughter having a repair at your Newton, NC location and will NEVER go or recommend them ever. They are fully unethical and took advantage of her.

She had to have her front stabilizer links replaced which they state were $139.88ea. The exact same part number sells for $37ea every where I look. The dealer charges only $43ea and Autozone only charges $32ea. They also charged her a $99 computer diag fee which was not even performed as the part replaced has no computer interface and on top of that charged her $350 labor for all of 30 minutes it took to install these parts. The entire service time was less than 2hrs out the door and included a wheel alignment. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I am well aware of the cost of these repairs as I am an ASC tech of over 30yrs but can not do the work any longer due to a neck injury. I hope your company executives have very little sleep tonight after reading this email. $625 for this work is an abomination.

Signed a very upset father

Had starting problem. John Gallo said a new alternator and plugs would fix it.
IT DID NOT.
Then he said battery,a new fuel pump and fuel filter would fix it. IT DID NOT.
Charged a lot of money and still have the same problem.
Mr. Tire is the WORST auto repair shop. Called customer service they never responded.

Shah, Juan, and Charlie at the 11625 Lee Hwy shop in Fairfax, VA are fantastic. Top drawer mechanics combined with outstanding prices results in an unbeatable value! Have used several times and will continue to do so!

Mr.Tire571- I have been going to them for around 20-23 years now and I have had nothing but the best experience with them. I will continue to go to them. They have friendly and knowledgeable people that work there. Thank you for all you do.

This company dosent have a soul. I bought two tires for ford Taurus, put the extended warranty/flat repair added. Got a nail in the sidewall had it towed and they tell me they can’t find the warranty let alone that I ever purchased anything at this shop. Don’t like it call corporate.

Great service. Had an appointment for a tire rotation and alignment. Done in about an hour, no issues at all. Professional and friendly staff. Repeat customer and will continue to frequent Mr. Tire #731.
