Had a few loans with Morse yes the interest is a bit high but it's not as bad a other companies. Ive never had a problem with Morse great for small loans and small payments weekly seen alot of people take the loan then complain don't take it out if you can't pay it back

DREADFULLY RUDE MANAGER AVOID AVOID!Took a loan out on the 13th was told I could pay monthly would of course have to pay 3weeks by time payment was due this was fine and loan finalised by ANOTHER MANAGER (being fair she was nice)before my FIRST MONTHLY PAYMENT is even due I receive a call asking for payment explain the set up agreement my payments not weekly but monthly all is fine then THE MANAGER MARK CALLS.
The most rudest abrupt person to ever be I charge of a company and dealing with customers rudely tells me I am incorrect and I HAVE TO MAKE A PAYMENT TODAY again I try to explain my loan agreement with other manager NOT GOOD ENOUGH I NEED PAYMENT TODAY says mark unbelievable way to speak to people I found his manner aggressive and threatening I would never take a loan with them again actually think you would find your local friendly loanshark armed with knuckle dusters and a shovel less intimidating.

My partner put a complaint in on 6/6/2022 and had reply to say received it and please don’t get a claimed management company or solicitors involved whilst they look into complaint, it’s now 26/10/2022 and still no response from complaint, rang loads of times and been told they will email complaints team to contact us which hasn’t happened and today phoned again and agent said ring this number 03300450717 as it’s the complaints team and as I’m writing this me and my partner have now both been on the phone to this number for 42mins with no answer,, STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE

A company contacted me to claim PPi from provident a couple of years back and saw I had a loan with Morse I said I don't want to claim PPi from Morse as they have been good to me the next week I got a call from Morse saying I could not talk a loan out with them again because I am claiming PPi which I have not authorised.... I sent them the recorded message that I had with the PPi company stating I have not authorised anything to do with Morse Club but Morse isn't having it and have blacklisted me. Awful company

I am a morses club member and have only two payments left to pay off my loan in full.
Had an email to say because I've been a great customer I was entitled to another loan.
I have never missed a payment, but low and behold when I apply for a second loan , they say I can't afford it.
I find it IRONIC that I've never missed a payment but I can't afford the loan.
If I was a millionaire I could afford the loan but wouldn't need one so your rules around affordability are an absolute nonsense.
I do not blame the representatives who try and help but it's all computer generated and it's a great company gone bad in 2022.

Yes they have high APR (has does any other "bad credit" lenders) but EVERYONE who applies for a loan KNOWS the rate before signing.
YES they do credit checks before ANY loan is approved, regardless if you're an existing customer or not. They HAVE TO, BY LAW!

So applied online & was accepted, I was contacted by an agent however I was unable to answer the call when I texted the agent a few days later the agent replied with “Sorry you’re not on my system, you will have to reapply” so I went online to reapply but was refused this time around as I had applied less than 45 days ago and I must wait prior to applying for a 2nd loan BUT YOU NEVER ISSUED THE 1st LOAN AS I NEVER MET THE AGENT

I have used Morses Club regularly over the last 5 years, never missing a payment. I was astounded to be refused further credit, due to a poor history. I do accept that checks need to be made, but with an APR as high as theirs, l do think that they will lose a great deal of custom. I thought that the whole point of Morses was to help those with a less than perfect credit history. I obviously thought wrong, and have found another provider who can meet my needs.

I was provisionally accepted for a loan one month ago. I sent income and expenditure to customer service which I was supposed to receive a response by 20 September 2022. No response to date. I then sent another email that I was supposed to receive a response by 24 September 2022. No response to date. I was then told my complaints email would be answered within 5 working days from last Thursday. No response to date which is now 6 working days. Clearly another company who have no customer service. Very unhappy and no stars if I could.

I used them once! And never again! Apr is just silly! Plus I tried for a 2nd loan even tho my 1st was paid off to be told by my agent he will look on Monday wen it was Thursday. I have had 3 loans with Morses. I just repaid one in full on the understanding from my agent I could reloan. A week later I get told I can’t. I’m planning on repaying the one I have left and never using them again.

Was offered £400 but only wanted £300 and told the agent multiple times. Then when its on its final stage hes going through the application and says that I'm loaning £400 I told him no sorry its £300 and he says oh shall we just go through with it otherwise we have to start all over again after 30 minutes of already going through everything.
The next day I decided to cancel the agreement and tried calling up multiple times. After being on hold for a total of 4 hours in a single day, I gave up.
Then they sent me paperwork to my abode which i requested they DO NOT DO before agreeing to the agreement.
Basically try to force you into the agreement and then not a single soul replies to either phone calls or emails.
I emailed them requesting for paperwork not to be sent to my address a week ago and still no response.
please avoid using these scammers. It's clear to see they're here to take advantage of people.

Morses Club PLC (AIM:MCL) shares crashed as it became the latest doorstep lender to try to insulate itself from mis-selling complaints.
Peer Provident Financial closed its doorstep lending arm in 2021 and shunted the business into a special purpose vehicle to cap the soaring costs of compensation.
Guaranteed loans group Amigo did something similar as mis-selling claims soared during lockdown and now Morses Club is attempting to go down the same route.
In a statement today, the lender said it is in talks with UK regulator the FCA over establishing a scheme of arrangement to cap customer redress claims.
"Whilst the directors consider that Morses Club has adequate liquidity for the immediate future, they believe that without a potential scheme, the level of redress claims could jeopardise the group's future," it said.
Approval from the Financial Conduct Authority is needed, as well as the majority of affected customers and a court sanction.
Morses, as well as saying it is in talks about extending its current funding facility of £35mln from its current end on March 2023, also needs to agree a new business model with the FCA and secure its funding as its current facilities are in place until March 2023.
It said a £45mln exceptional provision will be booked for the current year, with adjusted profits to be 30-40% below current analyst consensus and there will be no dividend.
Morses Club added it has tightened its lending policies and, as a result, has seen a decline in sales volumes.
In addition, the structure of the loan book has changed due to a higher concentration of new customers, something that will make 2023 a transition year in which legacy issues can be largely resolved.
How much claimants would receive through the Scheme was not revealed.
Gary Marshall, Morses Club’s chief executive, said: “A successful Scheme of Arrangement would provide more certainty to the total liability arising from customer complaints and ensure that we can reshape the business for the future.
“The potential scheme is intended to provide a fair settlement for all eligible customers, whilst securing the Company's future and enabling us to continue to provide access to credit for an underserved and growing demographic."
Shares fell 43% to 4.8p.

Striving to intercede on an outstanding loan offered to a vulnerable adult. Wrote to their vulnerable customer email address heard nothing back. Unconvinced they did adequate checks in assessing the suitability and understanding the customer had in taking out a loan.
Messy set up.
Couldn't give me a loan because my weekly outgoings are more than what I earn apparently. Obviously this isn't the case otherwise I wouldn't be able to survive. Not sure how their system works things out but it clearly needs looking at.
