So like every bad credit company they go through your credit file on the phone with you, it's very embarrassing and I'm not that desperate to get a very high interest loan which will make me even more worse off, reminds me of the terrible Welcome Finance! You have been warned.

I don’t know who this company are

I don’t know who this company are, but one of their customers has given them my mobile number by accident or on purpose. I have been receiving text messages & voicemails from them for 3 or 4 months. You cannot reply to the texts. I have telephoned the number from the voicemails & told them to remove my number from their records, but they have said they can’t do anything without knowing who the customer is! An absolute joke of a system. I’ve just texted them on the number to see if that works. Avoid them, they’ll never leave you alone whether you’re a customer of theirs or not!

Avoid like the Plague ...

Avoid like the Plague .... First loan with them went fine I paid my first week and then switched to monthly as arranged with agent from begining. Agent phones me every month to collect balance owed.. sadly the way they work there system is it shows me in arrears each week building up to the amount of my monthly payment. This has never been an issue and i suspected just the way they operate.... I apply for further credit and am told I dont need to pay full monthly payment and that my new loan would be a clear and renew. Unfortunetly the system wouldnt work over the phone for agent who has to arrange to vist me the next week . All of this went without issue until my credit file updated showing I had missed septembers payment . I raised a complaint over the phone with an extremly arrogant member of staff who frankly kept telling me it was correct and my fault ETC.Three days later i get a email of final outcome stating they had spoke to staff and that i was in the wrong and i had indeed missed payment which is impossible as there own agent collects it from me over the phone on the last thursday of each month when am paid.I asked for this to be reviewed and low and behold the same outcome from the company

I cannot be late with payment and if indeed I was sitting in arrears having missed a months payment THEN WHY WOULD YOU LEND ME DOUBLE £750 if your records show (all be it wrongly that am behind on my first loan)

I had hoped you would remove the error mark on my credit file but it looks like this will need to be taken to the ombudsmen cause its clear this companys communications ,handling and complaints system is usless

To summarise I pay monthly over phone to agent who tells me exact amount that needs to be paid and i pay in full last thursday of every month

I was in the process of clear and renew loan where your company lent me further money and cleard my small remaining balance of the first all of this evident from payment history

so again i could not have a missed a payment and its clear from my payment history that i did not. But to use your companys logic you STATE I HAVE MISSED A PAYMENT and there for i ask the question why would you lend DOUBLE the amount of money to someone who account was in default ?

I look forward to the ombudmen taking up the claim and the outcome challanged and my credit file being returned to normal !

Avoid Avoid Avoid can see why this company has to enter into an arrangment to pay customers given the level of service ive reacived from head office .

I feel like I'm reading reviews for a different company! I applied this morning on my way to work at 7am. By 10am I'd been refferd to a very helpful chap called Patrick. By 6pm I had a grand in my bank that's been such a massive life line! Yes the interest is high but we know why let's face it. I'd recommend all day long if you need financial help

Received my first loan in the June and…

Received my first loan in the June and when applying was told by agent you 2nd loan will be Available after 26 weeks. Never missed a payment as pay online monthly
On the 27th week I clicked the button for further credit stating an agent would be in touch by the end of the working day heard nothing back so text my agent to be told there’s nothing on the system for you and to just keep trying each week I’ve been doing this and never hear anything back
Next month is my last payment and probably still won’t be able to get a 2nd loan as no one ever gets back to you
Wouldn’t recommend this company at all as in the past I’ve recommended friends and they’ve all been turned down

I had 400 pound loan off them never missed a payment when I had the loan my credit score was not very good I applied for another loan with pretty good credit score and got declined just don’t get how that works out and tbh I applied for the loan and it was me that had to chase it up because there never got back to me to let me know I been declined and there told me there will check at end of January to see if I will be accepted for the loan I applied for I would actually understand if my credit score was bad but it actually gone up almost 200 so I can only have loan if my score is really bad confusing

I've had 16 loans out to date

I've had 16 loans out to date with Morse's with 2 still being paid off. Been through multiple reps all have been nice people. Just been changed to a new rep and thought as I've paid off a loan I can apply for a new one. They refused saying nothing showing up on the system. My new rep rang me and asked me about my credit history and I answered truthfully.i had bad credit In the past but my score has been going up last four years to a decent score. As I told the rep look at my payment history as it doesn't have one missed payment.i know morses changed rules where you can't get a new loan out for ten weeks but it's been far longer than ten weeks since took out a loan. Yes they now offer current customers cheaper Apr loans but they increased the weeks you pay over. I used to recommend Morse's to people yes they had high Apr but was a great company at one point. I received info saying they are going to payback customers Apr maybe that's why they don't offer long time customers new loans anymore. And then today I find they did a credit search on myself even though I haven't clicked to apply for a new loan because they won't give me one till there system says so, so I have no idea why they searched me without my permission. Who gave them permission to do so. Luckily I pay via the app every payment day so haven't had issues like other saying they got marks for non payment when they did make payment. I always keep my records and paperwork for ten years so they can't say I've missed a payment which I never have.

Morse's you used to be a great company. I don't know what happened but if you cant offer myself a long time customer a new loan or even a renew after 16 loans then something's going wrong inside your head office.

Very poor customer care

Very hard to make payments to the agents and when you inform morses club about your concerns they basically call you a lier, look elsewhere for your short term loans

Refused!

So have had 3 loans from this company over last couple of years and no problem until now when I am about to make final payment on the third loan. Never missed a payment. My credit rating is actually much better now than it was 2 years ago although still needs improvement but I've been refused another loan. No-one with a good credit rating would apply to them as the interest is so high! Didn't make sense until I received a message from them notifying me of a scheme arrangement for claiming compo for unaffordable loans. They are still trading but I wonder for how much longer. I've given them 3 stars as the agent was lovely and until now I had no problems. Shame really.

First loan went smoothly

First loan went smoothly quick deposit I’ve had the loan for 30 weeks never missed a payment and currently in credit try to get another loan out but I can’t have one because of my credit check which nothing has happened to still the same as when I applied the first time around….you will lose a lot of customers doing this as this is what bad credit loans are for hence the high interest rates.

Been with them 4 years paid every loan back tried to renew all of a sudden I cant because of my credit score but I have contract phone I been with longer never missed payment home internet never missed payment and a rented tv never missed payment

Currently have a loan with them paid of 2 but can't get another one due to my credit score. I thought this company was for people with bad credit hence why the interest is shocking on them. Been a customer for 4 years never missed a payment but now all of a sudden I'm no longer eligible for a loan with them. Sooner my last loan is paid off the better will be closing my account! Never using the company again

Applied online was sent an email to say…

Applied online was sent an email to say I was initially approved and to wait for an agent to contact me.
Waited and waited for days, sent online forms to ask etc
Called and was told that someone would contact me and still nothing.
Called today and told it was declined, I asked why no one had bothered to let me know just out of common decency and to avoid me having to keeping chasing.
Not sure why I was accepted to then be declined but the lack of contact is frustrating especially when they then tell me to apply again in 45 days.
I won't bother again.

Tried to get a loan today but the first…

Tried to get a loan today but the first guy I spoken to shut the phone on me and then they try to tell me stuff about my credit file that wasn’t true. Not sure if this company is legit but glad I didn’t get it. Rude staff I think. Since putting my personal details on the form I have received 21 scam calls from Wednesday. Really not happy

a woman come around at 5pm calling me…

a woman come around at 5pm calling me and saying she's from Morses Club and she come around to my house to speak about the loan that i apply for, which is right I did apply for a loan but i was not informed about her coming around. So when i arrived at my address the woman was very mean and was shouting that's she's waiting here 10 minutes and i apologize to her but she just walk quickly down the stairs and said she don't have time for a waste person like me and slammed the door. I just want to say I really wanted to borrow the money because im going through hard time and a employee from Morses treating me like im nothing. never again im going to borrow from this company and i hope anyone that reads this will not borrow money from them. Thank you :)
