Tricked into buying pet insurance ?
A year ago I bought pet insurance through Quidco. And yes I read eligibility and bought through the link.
Purchase 18.09.25 lifetime insurance
Unfortunately the cashback was declined by Asda. So I raised a claim through Quidco as the cashback was around £27. Makes a huge difference.
The claim was declined by Asda. So I decided it pointless renewing.
I thought I’d check to see if Asda pet insurance are on Quidco for 2026 and they aren’t. So I assume, that despite advertising themselves as an insurance provider on Quidco, enticing people to buy because of cashback, the actual cashback was declined because Asda knew they were finishing with Quidco.

I was looking for a budget priced…
I was looking for a budget priced holiday insurance for a three day break in Portugal and after trawling many sites without success ASDA holiday insurance popped up and saved the day. The site was simple to negotiate and the price very reasonable. I will not hesitate ASDA holiday insurance in the future.

The best insurance company I have ever used
My dog, a 5 year old dachshund, was recently diagnosed with a really scary cancer. My vets removed the tumour immediately and completed the claim for me. Asda reached out for more information and the lovely staff talked me through things on 3 separate occasions when I called upset and panicked. He was booked back in with the vets for follow up tests and scans to see if we caught it in time or if it had spread. Before we even attended the follow up, the claim was completed. The further scans and tests were put through as a continuation of the claim and the fantastic Asda staff talked me through the claim process again. This was settled extremely quickly too. After coming from a much slower and more stressful insurance company I couldn’t believe the speed and helpfulness at Asda. The caseworker that handled my claim did a great job and everybody on the helpline genuinely cared and empathised with me. I recommend Asda insurance to everyone I know. My dog is now cancer free and I will be using Asda for as long as i own animals
