I took a travel card out in 2024
I took a travel card out in 2024, was not advised that if inactive for over 12 months a monthly charge was applied. 30 euros had been taken in these fees, I rang their help line to advise I had been unaware, was told by "Mary" (supervisor) that was my problem for not reading the T&C's & they would not refund out of discretion or goodwill. There was no email or app notifications which are common ways for businesses to communicate so I closed my account & will NEVER use them again.
Edit: In response to Grace, you're just reiterating the T&C's rubbish, no other provider charges this that I know of & it's even worse that it only applies to those with money still in the account as I certainly would have transferred it out, stealth profiteering!
Why would I ring your help line again, I already outlined the appalling experience I had, I'm not wasting further time on this, I'm just going to ensure everyone I encounter is aware & hopefully doesn't use the con card.

The inactivity fee is outlined in the card's terms and conditions and applies after 12 months of no card activity, such as topping up the card, making a transaction, or withdrawing funds. The fee is £2 per month and is only charged where there is a remaining balance on the card.

Stranded on holiday as had our money…
Stranded on holiday as had our money and passports got stolen have no money to stay here or go home and unable to actually speak to anyone to do with the insurance

Policy not cancelled and payments still been taken
Really disappointed with the service. I rang to cancel my pet insurance policy in August, but it clearly hasn’t been cancelled as they’ve continued to take payments from my account for the last 2 month. It’s frustrating having to deal with this when I’d already taken the time to call and cancel in the first place. I shouldn’t have to keep chasing something that should have been sorted out already. Not impressed at all, and I’d expect the payments taken since I cancelled to be refunded.
