I ordered a couple of outdoor lanterns. Despite receiving an email several weeks ago that my order was being dispatched to the courier, I have heard nothing since. I have rang several times, and sent emails, but have mostly been ignored. When I did finally make contact I was reassured I would receive an update and the order would be re-dispatched if lost, but again I have had no communication. A diabolical service and I can't help but feel like my money has been stolen. I will be speaking to my card issuer. Beware.

Very happy with the garden furniture set, it was easy to put together and looks amazing, great quality product, looking forward to many happy of years using it!

Although the delivery time was not as expected, a little longer than stated, the products are good quality and excellent value for money.

I ordered a sofa suite and a dining suite from Modern Rattan and we ran into a problem with the supply of one of the items by the date I needed them for. You can always judge a company by how they handle issues when things go wrong and they could not have been more helpful. As I’m local, the MD even popped round to help resolve the issue with me in person.

My furniture looks absolutely gorgeous and is the highest quality. I won’t just be recommended Modern Rattan to my friends, I’ll be back for a Bar Set!

Extremely unprofessional company which I would avoid at all costs! I purchased 5 outdoor cushions totalling £150. Prior to placing the order, I called the company where I confirmed that the cushions were in stock and was told they had 8 in their warehouse. I placed the order and several weeks later had no dispatch confirmation and the order was showing as unfulfilled on their website. I called the number on the websitr and apparently got through to the managing directors mobile as all lines were busy. I was told they were waiting to be picked and would be with me shortly. 3 weeks later, I still haven't received my item. I emailed the company asking for a delivery update and tracking details as the website was still showing as unfulfilled. I had a reply stating that the order was apparently lost and they would send me some more cushions so may receive both. To this date, the order is still showing as unfulfilled and I suspect that the item is either not in stock or this company are playing the drop shipping game! The business address shows as a flat in Birmingham which does not fill me with confidence. I have now had to start a payment dispute with PayPal to get my money back which they are ignoring.

Update - Refund now recieved, very little communication from company and conflicting statements throughout. I still would not reccomend this company.

The outstanding thing about this company is its proactive communications from point of sale to delivery. I knew exactly what was going on at all stages. The product (garden furniture) is great, the price was great, the delivery was seamless and so I am really delighted. All we need now is some decent weather so that I can enjoy my purchase.

Excellent product for the price. Great customer service when needed to move delivery date from just before Christmas to 8 January. Overall very impressed.

Great service. Some niggles with damaged chairs on delivery, which were rectified quickly and efficiently. Great quality products, I always think it's how a company responds when something isn't right that is an important measure and Modern Rattan (through Matt) were excellent in this regard. No hesitation in recommending and I'll use again.

After a lost delivery the customer service team and Matt were very helpful in resolving and providing a replacement product.

A disgraceful company. Ordered a set beginning of January 2024. Chased for updates via email, to then be told that the carrier had our wrong contact number which was untrue, but we gave the number again. We asked for the furniture to be delivered by the 9th February, to which yiu agreed. Guess what NO DELIVERY so far. Thank you . UPDATE, THE first email we received from you was on the 8th January stating our order was being processed. My husband also spoke to you personally on the phone Mat Cooper apologised on the 15th and 30th January, via email order 133805, so can't understand why no reference.UPDATE, it was reported to our credit card company as we had waited over 6 weeks for delivery despite you saying you would deliver by the 9th February. The point is you promised to send us the dining set, we chased on the phone and have emails before we contacted our credit card company. DO YOU THINK WE ARE GOING TO PAY FOR SOMETHING WE DID NOT RECEIVE. We waited long after you promised delivery by the 9th as we told you we would be away after that. SO YES, it was cancelled by or credit card company for none delivery. THEREFORE your response is wrong. If you had fulfilled all of your promises then obviously we would have gone through with the transaction. YOU NEED TO CHECK ALL DETAILS before sending a response on TRUST PILOT. The whole essence is on TRUST which you don't have. Thank you. UPDATE, thank you for your response. We provided the correct contact number by phone and on the emails if has my husband dd details. At no point t no follow up email was received. I appreciate it was my husband who ordered but we do have the same surname. We have a cover that is obsolete, no furniture after mus communication . To reiterate we did say we were going away. It is sad that we had to ask for our money back. I see yiu have blocked us on Facebook. This is the end of it. As you state you are a family business let's leave as is. Thank you

Excellent delivery -the chaps were great and coped with the difficult traffic really well. They were very keen to make sure we had the right stuff and all of the boxes.

Very happy with the Amalfi Chaise Sofa Set - it fits perfectly in the area I ordered it for. Delivered within a week of order and delivery drivers were really friendly and helpful and even took all the packaging away for me. Would recommend Modern Rattan without hesitation.
