Subpar packaging and damaged items
Two months ago I ordered from Moda for the first time. I place an order for a Prada Celo bag and was charged $15 for shipping. I expected this to mean shipping would be quick and that the packaging would be luxurious. But it wasn't. It took two weeks for my bag to arrive and the bag was just thrown in a box in a dust bag wrapped in purple tissue paper. Honestly, I have seen better packaging from less expensive stores, like Sezane. Still, I can understand the shipping time due to Covid delays, but the packaging really was subpar.
Nonetheless, what really bothered me was that my bag was damaged when I received it. It had creases and a visible scratch on the back. I submitted a return request, shipped it back, and got my money back. Then I placed another order for the same type of bag and after two weeks, I got the SAME damaged bag in a box that looked like it was stomped on and opened and haphazardly re-taped again. Did they think I would not notice it was the same bag?
Anyway, I submitted another return request and now I will be purchasing my bag from Prada directly. Needless to say, I'm so disappointed in Moda and will not be shopping here again.

Don't Buy From Them! Look Elsewhere
I had a really bad first experience with Moda Operandi. This was my first purchase ever and I was so excited because I had read wonderful things. You can imagine my disappointment when problems started happening as early as checkout. My promo code didn't work, delivery took longer than specified, customer service was extremely unhelpful, and even stopped responding after the second email. Will definitely be my last time purchasing!

Ghosted by customer service, had to file a claim with Visa to get a refund
I ordered my wedding dress from MO. Fedex "lost" the package in shipping, and after repeated contacts to Fedex - where they confirmed that they couldn't find the dress, and MULTIPLE emails to MO to resolve the situation with zero acknowledgement or response, I finally had to file a claim with my credit card company to get the charges reversed. I'd say bad customer service, but it's like ... non-existent.

Not so luxury experience
Honestly, my experience wasn’t great. Shipping at Moda Operandi costs $15. I figured this would mean I’d get my item super quickly at least, since most other luxury retailers don’t charge for shipping. I was originally given a delivery date of July 7. That day came and went without so much as a shipping notification. It wasn’t until I contacted customer support that my dress shipped. It finally arrived on July 15, in a dress bag that was too short for my dress, causing some weird folds on the bottom, and in a box that looked like it had been punched a few times before getting to me. The dress itself was gorgeous and the CSA I spoke to was great, but otherwise this experience sucked. My first and last time shopping here.

Product assortment has gone downhill
Product assortment has gone downhill. You charge for shipping, literally nowhere else I shop charges shipping and they do 2 day shipping; you charge and then you take 2 weeks to get me the product??

Shipping prices
I live in Puerto Rico, a territory of US, and for shipping purpose you treat me as foreing country. That’s means $65. I am client of Net-a-Porter London since 2013 and they ship me by DLH, your shipping company, for $39. Recently they have opened a warehouse in US and they are distributing from there to this part of the world only for $20. You have to review your prices to be competitive.

I wrote at first bad review and put 1 star, because delivery took so long and I wasn’t able to wear the bag that I picked up for the event as I planed. But when I finally got an item and saw the cutest packing it melted my heart. Great job with packaging, wish the delivery would be faster and I could wear this bag for my event.
