Faulty lamps, missing half the pieces, don't meet Australian standards and didn't work anyway. Pretend to be Australian made but actually made in China. Ignored my emails until I opened a PayPal case. I requested money back but they sent me more rubbish lamps and then expected me to return them to China at my expense...... All the lamps are where they belong now. In the bin..... I feel sorry for the bin.

Ordere two lamps, then had to chase to receipt of order. Only received one lamp from OVERSEAS and was poorly packaged. When went to put up - didn't work. Have had numerous emails back and forth for refund on the other lamp I did not receive and on the faulty lamp. Same responses every time. Is a joke and would never recommend this company - is a total scam to say in Melbourne and the whole experience is frustrating.

If I could I would give a 0 star rating. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Seems like a scam site. No tracking. Poor communication. When my items finally arrived one was faulty and they wouldn’t offer a refund.

After reading the reviews, I too thought I had been conned, but... to my surprise, the lamp I ordered, an Ambiglow rechargeable, arrived within the 14 day predicted delivery time via Australia Post. It was well packaged and beautifully built and finished. And it works. Yes, 'Made in China' but show me an electrical appliance that isn't these days. My only complaint - hence the four stars, not five - is the pretence that the company is Melbourne-based. Noting the more recent number of satisfied customers, I suspect this is not a scam but a case of a company which launched too early and was unable to keep up with unexpected demand. So, to all of you worried that you may have wasted your money, don't despair... yet.

Sent broken, smashed lamp. Wouldn’t accept photos for refund. Now having to take them to fair trading as they aren’t refunding for broken lamp.

I was very worried about my purchase after reading reviews, but the lamp arrived well packed and as described. Yes it's from China but for this price I knew I was not getting a European made product, and TBH a lot of lighting in Aus shops is from China anyway.
Shipping was not super quick but I was able to track my parcel throughout. Happy.

I was really worried that this place was a scam, but it's not! It took just under a month for me to receive my lights. Yes, maybe it's a drop shipping business but I certainly wasn't scammed..maybe the lights aren't made in Melbourne but meh.

How I wish I'd read reviews before wasting $200

I ordered two items, one of which hasn't arrived weeks later. The quality is Temu or worse. There is no branding attempt, it's straight from the factory, absolutely tiny and crap quality. Genuinely shocked.

Terrible terrible quality and experience!! Do not buy! I tried to cancel as soon as I realised my mistake buying from this scam however they refused. When the first light arrived (I ordered 4) the quality was terrible and nothing like pictured. Fake timber ‘look’ (worse than you could possibly imagine) and poor quality wiring. No way I would install these products - they are not safe! No invoice was provided and they give you the runaround when you try to return. It’s an absolute con!!

I would give zero stars if I could. Site is a complete scam. Received only partial order, then after complaining and stating I needed to cancel the order they sent out more stock. Have tried to return, however they're refusing to pay the duties in china or give me details to pay them myself.

Do not ever think to buy anything from this company. Totally scam.

Do not buy from this company. They claim to be based in Mebourne Australia. They are a China based company with poor quality products. They then want you to pay for the return costs of their rubbish products back to China before they will issue a part refund. They then off a % refund of you keep the product. It’s a common scam because people can’t afford to pay for return shipping. Avoid this company and their rubbish products.

Yet another unaware customer ... this business is a FULL ON SCAM. Faulty broken products sent ... refuse my refund. I have emails from May until September to show what a dishonest, fraudulent and scam company Misterlamp Melbourne is. I thought I was buying from an Australian company. I bought from scam artists. I am hoping that my bank can get my $150 back. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. Spread the word so that no other innocent person becomes their victim.

The company has not delivered the items and refuse to refund.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! such bad quality. My box was banged up and the lamp look like it could’ve been bought from one of those cheap $2 Chinese stores. Was expecting a glass/ metal mushroom lamp and got a kid looking plastic toy lamp. Do not buy from this place

Yes, this company is a scam. Lost $300. They didn't send a receipt, some random company based in Hong Kong sent me a piece of rubbish, their (fake) contact number is based in NZ, their (fake) address is UK, they make out they're from Melbourne, it's a total scam.

This company based in China sent my lamp that was so misleading compared to their website. It's cost me $599.00 Aust dollars. I sent the lamp shade back the same days it arrived. Its currently stuck in their China customs awaiting clearance for ten days.
Never buy anything from. This company..Now I'm not even getting updates even when I've got registered tracking post. Shame on you for misleading people. I'm upset and you've take my money and sent a completely different colour. DONT USE THIS COMPANY SPREAD THE NEWS.

NOT BASED IN MELBOURNE OR AUSTRALIA! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Purchased lights from them that arrived cheap and nasty. Nothing like the photos on website. I have to spend my money to send back and are then told they are a drop ship in China! So misleading and scam artists. Don't waste your money with this scam company!
