Professional and Curteous

Reliable and courteous! Arrived for pickup 10 minutes adrift of requested time but had learned from past experience to book a little earlier to allow for traffic holdups so arrived at destination on time!

Driver cancelled 5 minutes before he was due
Driver cancelled 5 minutes before arrival time. Trip was booked the previous day. Replacement driver arrived 21 minutes late. Missed my appointment.
Additional details - submitted 25.03.26 Booking no. 37097074
I booked the cab on the 12.03.26 online for 09:20 on 13.03.26 pickup time. On the 13th I rang the helpdesk nto check that the driver would be turning up on time. This was at 09:05 on the 13th. The controller confirmed that the driver would pick me up in 9 to 10 minutes. However, the controller then informed me at 09:15 that the driver has cancelled and that he would find me a replacement driver. The replacement arrived 21 minutes late at 09:41. Consequently I misses an important hospital appointment. Drivers should not be permitted to cancel bookings at short notice unless there is an emergency of some kind. This incident has caused be a great deal of distress and inconvenience and is totally unacceptable - having taken the trouble to book the day before travelling

Bad Service Not for the first has this company…
Not for the first has this company failed to pickup at St Pancras International. What is more they failed to give me a reason. So was it because they failed to register it or because the driver got a better offer from his Uber app?
On one occasion the driver was sitting outside my door (before the requested time) and then disappeared; Minicab.co.uk told me he wasn’t coming because he got a tyre puncture. Really? I think they need a firmer contract with their drivers.

Not always reliable
The booking process is easy and prices are fair, but the driver arrived later than expected. The ride itself was fine, but communication could be better. Not a bad service, just not very consistent.

However, there are occasions when unexpected delays occur on the road, including traffic, accidents, and road closures. These are out of anyone's control, and there is always precaution taken to leave earlier. Despite this, we cannot control the situations that unfold on the road sometimes.

The driver arrived 20 minutes late. I had an urgent appointment. I found the driver arrogant. I don't know how this type of person is allowed to work in this sector. Furthermore, the car smelled bad.

Easy to book and pay. If there are any issues the booking office always call you and do their very best to resolve. On the rare occaision that I have required a refund it has been actioned very quicky. The booking office are always very kind, polite and helpful. Highly recomended.
