Il peggio del peggio, truffa sfacciata. Attese lunghissime, auto sgradevoli e personale sgarbato. Ultima disgrazia che mi hanno fatto (ultima perché mai più noleggeremo con loro e con Booking_com) ho comprato su Booking l'assicurazione completa e poi al desk l'impiegata mi ha detto che non c'era l'assicurazione responsabilità civile e me la ha fatta pagare a parte. Poi Booking si rifiuta di darmi riscontro quando sono loro ad avermi venduto unn servizio truffaldino. MAi più né MEX né Booking_com

Auch ein Stern ist zu viel.
Flug mit Verspätung,, wurde nicht erwartet wie vereinbart, auf anrufe wurde nicht reagiert...nächsten Morgen mit dem Taxi zum Anbieter...Vertrag wurde nicht mehr anerkannt, wollte überteuerten neuen Vertrag anbieten...und lauter Lügen...
Nein Danke... ich verzichte mit solchen Leuten Geschäfte zu machen....es ist meine zweite schlechte Erfahrung mit dubiosen Mietwagenanbietern.
Finger weg!!!! nur bei bekannten Anbietern buchen.

Mex nous livre une voiture avec 1h de retard le pare brise est gras, après utilisation des essuis glace je constate une rayure mais pas d'embêtement pour moi, au moment du retour, 2 agent déterminent rapidement la rayure, et veulent m 'expliquer que cela provient de moi, heureusement j'avais effectué, une vidéo a la prise en charge et heureusement cette rayure ressort,
Nous avons bien a faire a des voleurs qui essaies par tout les moyen de nous faire payer

We rented a car in Mexico at Mex Rent a Car. We used the suburban for a roadtrip of 3 weeks.
Never rent with them if you plan to go on a roadtrip. They have a non-excisting service out of the area of Cancun and Tulum.
The car itself looked perfect but wasn't well-maintained as we are used to in Europe, still the original tyres (120.000 km), maintanance overdue messages, no water, ...
And once we had had a flat tyre, no possibility to get a new one. We had to continue on the spare tyre for 2 weeks. Of course it also broke down...
And finally they charged us for 2 completely new tyres...

Hidden charges! I booked a rental and paid extra for fully comprehensive insurance but was charged insurance when I collected the car. I would strongly advise against booking with this company

Nous avons loué un véhicule pour 9 jours à Oaxaca par l'intermédiaire d'Expedia. Nous avons dû payer 429.59 dollars US pour une assurance OBLIGATOIRE !!! C'est du vol,!!!.

Beware, they wrote down our credit card info and made unauthorized charges to TMobile prepaid web. We know it was them because that was the only place my husband used his card ad our credit card company said they typed the numbers in manually. This was the St. Maarten location. AWFUL, company...bunch of crooks.

Huge scam! Don't Book. Ads w/ cheap prices then at the rental spot they put on fees I've never heard of, demand high holds and are so robotic in responses to questioning it all!

I only usually leave good reviews, BUT there’s not a good thing to say about this company. If your flight is delayed and you arrive 2 hours late, they will give your rental away and then it’s based on availability…. When you are traveling with 7 or more, they will find something “close” to working for you but raise the rates by TRIPLE!! Then I read the other reviews, and YEP!” Trust the 1 stars as they are accurate!

Comprobado que son unos estafadores. Si al final tenéis que alquilar con ellos, cuidado, realizar mil fotos y videos, donde se vea claramente que es el día de alquiler y el sitio donde recogéis el coche. Cuidado con los seguros, no son necesarios en la mayoría de los casos. Cualquier duda hoja de reclamaciones y grabar la conversación.

I wish I could use curse words to express the anger I have towards this agency. First of all, they NEVER answered the phone for us to be picked up at the airport. Finally, after 11pm someone decides to answer only to tell us they are closed. The next day, we Uber it to get our rental, only to find out they canceled it because we didn’t pick up the vehicle on the day it was supposed to be picked it up. No explanation after our experience, only it’s cancelled. No compassion, no trying to work with us, no nothing. Don’t rent from these people, and be aware, they also have numerous other rentals on the same street but same management .

This Car Rental place is a total scam my daughter did not read the reviews before booking please read the reviews stay far away from MEX CAR RENTAL these people are scammers; we are looking into getting a lawyer to see if we can stop this company from scamming people out of money and deposits.

NON CI HANNO CONSEGNATO L'AUTO LASCIANDOCI A PIEDI ALLE 2.00 DI NOTTE!!! PER ARRIVARE A CASA ABBIAMO DOVUTO PRENDERE UN TAXI!
Zero! Zero! Zero! Questo è il giudizio che si meritano! Siamo stati clienti per 2 volte e abbiamo trovato la stessa impiegata rigida e scortese perfetta per spillarti soldi, (ve la descrivo pure, così se riuscite, le state alla larga: tipici tratti dello Yukatan, alta circa 1,6 m, grassoccia, capelli neri, lisci e molto lunghi, poco gradevole esteticamente), la polizia dell'immigrazione è molto più flessibile di lei; completamente inadatta per stare al pubblico, o forse ce la tengono proprio per queste sue caratteristiche!
Nello stesso giorno abbiamo prenotato per due periodi diversi, 8 giorni il primo periodo e 5 giorni per il secondo, dato che uscivamo dal Messico, con due ottime offerte tramite il Tour Operator Discover Cars.
Nel contratto stipulato con Discover Cars l'assicurazione completa era SOLO CONSIGLIATA, ma non obbligatoria, e veniva proposta a circa USD 7 al giorno. Dato che avremmo usato la macchina solo per piccoli spostamenti intorno a casa, abbiamo deciso di stipulare solo l'assicurazione base.
Al nostro primo arrivo l'impiegata ha subito iniziato a proporci di fare un'assicurazione con copertura totale al "modico costo" di 35 USD al giorno, quando il costo del noleggio era di circa 9 USD al giorno!
Dopo una lunga trattativa siamo riusciti a noleggiare l'aiuto con la sola copertura base, ma ci ha trattenuto ben 2.000 USD dalla carta di credito, quando sul contratto era specificato che ci avrebbero potuto chiedere al massimo 1.415 USD.
Lei si è giustificata dicendo che questa era la PUNIZIONE per chi non sottoscriveva un'assicurazione a copertura completa.
Ma il bello arriva al nostro secondo noleggio...abbiamo trovato la solita impiegata e questa volta ci ha IMPOSTO di sottoscrivere un'assicurazione totale con Mex rent a Car, ad un costo stratosferico! IL TRIPLO di quello che avevamo GIà PAGATO per il noleggio auto, altrimenti non ci avrebbe dato la macchina. Considerate che ERANO LE 2.00 DI NOTTE!! Che eravamo stanchi morti dal lungo viaggio, e nonostante questo abbiamo deciso di NON NOLEGGIARE PIU' LA MACCHINA, PERDENDO TUTTI I SOLDI GIà PAGATI, poiché comprare un'assicurazione con loro era troppo sconveniente. Abbiamo preso un taxi e ci siamo fatti accompagnare a casa, pagando ovviamente anche per questo, ma ci costava comunque molto meno!
Prendere a noleggio un'auto con MEX rent a car può essere molto pericoloso, costosissimo e mettervi in seria difficoltà, l'impiegata punta proprio a questo. Dovete destreggiarvi bene con inglese e spagnolo, altrimenti rischiate molto!

No respetan los precios, firme un contrato de $431 MXN por día por 6 días de uso (auto sedan 4 puertas), al momento de llegarme el cargo a mi tarjeta subieron el costo a $2,500, sin avisarnos, solo lo descontaron del depósito y tomaron más de la tarjeta de crédito, sumando un total de $15,000, cuando solicite aclaración me mandaron un contrato nuevo el cual no firme, por lo tanto no autorice el cobro.
No es posible que aumenten tanto los precios, cuando hasta en su página de internet están en lo que se me rento de inicio. A eso se le llama fraude o robo.
Alguien a recibido algún reembolso?
O ya hecho una queja en PROFECO?

They are a group of thieves!!!! Go to another car rental supplier. They obliged you to add a very expensive and “mandatory” insurance, otherwise they don’t give you the car.
Booking price 450 USD + “mandatory” insurance 900 USD = 1350 USD

Terrible rental, took almost two hours to. Check out a car, had to prove we had car insurance, had to pay for toll fees,$75, when we discovered we needed to turn in the car early we had to pay an extra $80 dollars as they were not open at 5am, and we had to leave it at the airport. Do not use this car rental, the only reason I used it was because I used my miles from my credit card and this was the company associated with this car.

Nobody at the airport desk for over an hour, none of the helpline numbers were answered. TWO hours in a Q to get to the desk, 30 minutes to do the paperwork (which I had already booked) then another 40 minutes to wait for the car to be brought, damaged almost no fuel.
I had a email confirmation showing the price agreed with full insurance included. The girl behind the desk said it was from a comparison site and the cost would be over double. The staff were slow and uninterested. Shambles. Use a bigger maybe more expensive. But has a better reputation

I booked a car on booking.com.
Paid for the car + insurrance.

When I came to pick up the car tvey wanted me to pay an extra $1500 for insurrance.

When they found out I paid with a debit card they refused to give me the car.

Never use this company!

I rented a car with Mex in Cancun, Having read the reviews, I was absolutely ready for a terrible experience, but decided to risk it for the price. The place was a little full, so it took us 30-40 min to get to the counter. After this, the agent understood and didn't push me on additional insurance since I am insured externally (they do take a deposit by blocking 1,500 usd from your credit card, which was returned fully). It took us less than 10 min to get everything signed and ready, including the purchase of an additional driver for my wife.

We got a decent car, they had to give us an SUV as they didn't have my category which was lower (free upgrade I guess). The car was clean and had gas on it, and the return was very easy. Honestly, I don't see why this company has such bad reviews. My experience was perfectly fine renting from them.
