Very frustrating experience with Drivalia’s PCN handling. A toll/payment issue has been disputed for months, with both Drivalia and Merseyflow already involved in the correspondence. Despite... Se mere

Excellent Customer Service
HI,
I cant praise the customer service, their help and prompt communication related to the crossing penalties against the courtesy car. I have been using their service for crossing Runcorn bridge for work purposes for over 6 years, and this was the first time I needed to contact the customer service and seek help. I spoke to numerous customer service assistants vie phone and email and their customer service, communication and help was excellent.
Firstly there should be an option on…
Firstly there should be an option on here for 0 rating as there is nothing good about this scheme/scam/system whatever we wanna label it.
Always try and avoid the f ing thing coss it’s a joke but had no choice few weeks ago
Paid online then noticed it only added credits to my account so I did it again and again it just added credits despite me providing my registration etc.
Received two pcn’s yesterday and just know it’s going to be a one sided drawn out joke!
Vehicle change
When I changed my vehicle, it never occurred to me to change the vehicle in my local account. I ended up with over £1000 of penalties. Unfortunately, by the time I received the first ones, the amount had already built up. I went into the contact centre and a week or so later, I was contacted by email. My penalties had been wiped, I was asked to pay just £50 to cover the crossings. I was so relieved as I'd heard such horror stories. I believe that if you treat them (Merseyflow employees) with respect, they will do their best to help you.
The worst organisation I've had to deal…
The worst organisation I've had to deal with. Negligence is on the best days, cynical exploitation of their monopoly if every other day.
To make it worse the council appoint the board who are meant to keep merseyflow honest
This company employs absolute imbeciles…
This company employs absolute imbeciles who are the least competent people you could have the misfortune of dealing with. They keep refusing the information I give them and keep making threats despite me not being the vehicle owner. I have tried to pass permission on to someone else to deal with it because I'm at my whits end and they still refuse the information. On the verge of taking legal action against them for harassment now.
Disgrace
Disgrace ! No wonder scousers are branded as dodgy thieves. This company just says it all about Liverpool... I won't be using Liverpool Airport again and will never visit sh*£pool ever again £22 small price for eternal happiness
Designed to generate fines
Their payment system just seems designed to generate fines.
Terrible website and payment system
Terrible website, absolute Con to pass over, don't no a sole who actually approves of this bridge, brilliant design, terrible execution.
website is garbage
Some awful advisors here!
Awful Customer Service depending on who you get through to! Called in to pay PCN notices as a result of admin error with our corporate account. Spoke to an agent this morning re. one of the vehicles & he was polite, helpful and completely understanding. Spoke to another agent later in the day re. another vehicle and was simply a difficult, inflexible, patronising, unfriendly and stubborn jobsworth. Why do Companies have to recruit such people. Awful experience
Poor IT Systems on their side, do not get caught out!!!!
After a single crossing on 1st of Jan and logging in to see that I could pay £5 as a blue badge holder for all further crossings which despite me only crossing rarely was worth it so duly paid and followed the instructions to register.
I received no more contact from them and had reason to make 2 crossings on 8th February so when I got home I went to check the crossings had registered which they hadn't which was a shock so called customer services to be told though they had my details and the £5 fee for the registration some 6 weeks on and the count was not activated because when I uploaded the photos of my blue badge for whatever reason they had not registered.
I had no warning that they didn't upload and indeed after having my made payment 6 weeks before they did not make any effort to email or call me to advise it hadn't activated yet.
Even though of this failing in their system I had to pay separately for the 2 crossing on the 8th and email in with the photos again to activate.
It is disgusting they made no allowance for this failing and given following my email with the photos it said I could cross as often as I like without the said sticker being sent to me which shows their system can recognise by registration plate if it has a blue badge account exemption they were not prepared to make such an allowance despite their system had not acknowledged that I had paid and for whatever reason was just awaiting my photos.
I have raised this with their accounts team but they wouldn't make an exception for the crossing on the Thursday. Be warned had I not been curious to check if the crossings had been acknowledged I could have ended up penalty charges
I recently made a trip in a Rental van…
I recently made a trip in a Rental van across the Gateway Bridge at Runcorn and arrived home late at night. I was tired and decided I’d pay the following day. However, like many others, I completely forgot all about it the next day as I was very busy. It was only in the morning the day after the payment deadline, that I remembered.
I called the Merseyflow number and was very please when the assistant charged me just £2 for the crossing.
I’m hoping I won’t have to edit this review in a weeks time if a PCN arrives in the post.
** AVOID THIS BRIDGE **
** AVOID THIS BRIDGE ** Went over the bridge, signs stating that it is a toll bridge, no toll booth, no clear way to pay the toll apart from some app that you must download. Not from the area, not sure what bridge I was crossing and not into the app stuff. A week later I get a fine, £40 or £20 if I pay straight away plus the toll charge of £2. Im happy to pay the £2 toll charge but LET PEOPLE PAY. A driver can not safely look at signs about how to pay a toll charge. Fine - if you dont want to put a man on the bridge collecting toll money, send the £2 toll charge out in a letter, but why fine drivers? I guess it goes towards paying staff in a heated building talking all day and playing with each other. I will avoid the Mersey area and take my business elsewhere in the future. Your loss Merseyflow!!
Customer support telephone number out…
Customer support telephone number out of service... Sent an online enquiry asking for a call back NOTHING !!!!
Someone should look at the Customer Service of this organisation !!!!!
4 times tried to register for auto pay…
4 times tried to register for auto pay 4 times rejected absolute joke can understand why you have so many 1 stars
They won't let you pay!
Their website is clear that you must call the number if you are paying for a hire car crossing. Their website is also clear about the opening hours of the phone line. The automated message was also clear about their opening hours. So why was the line closed during those hours? A reasonable person would have to assume that crossings are therefore free from Christmas to New Years. I guess I'm unreasonable because I made the payment online against Merseyflow's website instructions otherwise I simply can't make the payment.
Crap setup
Crap setup, I used it once forget to pay and get fine. I don’t mind paying but other toll roads often have a booth were not used to tolls in this country really think they should sent a letter to remind people or link with government gateway to email you. I and sure many would happily pay a £2 ish admin fee for a letter or text from government system.
Private Plate
Bridge is ace. The signage although plenty all seem invisible? ALSO the website doesn’t recognise two of my private plates with or without spaces. Customer service won’t admit this and still try to blame the end user 😬😬😬
Money making scheme
We've regularly had to use this bridge because our daughter was in Alder Hey for quite a while. I forgot to pay after a check up at Alder Hey and have been given a £44 fine, my fault but my daughter was ill and it completely went out my mind. Seems like a big money making scheme, in my opinion they should send a reminder first. The signage isn't great and alot of the older generation like my grandparents don't even use the Internet so couldn't pay.
