We’ve had two Matki showers installed…
We’ve had two Matki showers installed over a eight year period and both have leaked in the same place…the first one caused considerable damage to the underfloor area.
The second one has now started leaking thru the grout in the tiling adjacent to the shower right hand pillar.
Everything is sealed in the area but it still leaks…I’ve now got to find a installer who will look at the problem…the original installer is no longer around.
Please help Matki

Simply amazing customer service
Simply amazing customer service. We purchased our shower doors and tray 12 years ago and it has been excellent. I won’t point the finger at whoever used an abrasive cleaner on the silver waste fitting but I needed to replace it. Of course I had lost the fitting instructions so asked Matki if they could tell me what I needed and how I might unscrew the existing one without making a hole in the dining room ceiling! They asked for some photos of our existing waste which I duly provided. Almost immediately by return of post they sent me the required pieces, the tool to unscrew the old one, and appropriate instructions. All at no charge! Absolutely brilliant! Best customer service ever.

Joshua Long, Matki Customer Services, recently assisted us to fix our shower leak with technical help, support and parts. His manner was fantastic - he listened and clarified the issues and promptly sent the parts needed. Quite simply outstanding! I would add that we have previously found Matki Customer Services outstanding and therefore I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company, their quality products and their after sales service!
Matki (Radiance) showers
We have four Matki (Radiance) showers. They were installed nearly ten years ago. Alan Wilson came to undertake a little bit of ‘housekeeping’ on the sliding door mechanisms. His quality of work, attention to detail and his demeanor were all first class. He was a credit to the company.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with Matki’s service. While the top track infill had failed, Matki sent a technician out without charge and replaced it with no quibble. The engineer was polite and did the job in no time.

Helpful response from the technical…
Helpful response from the technical team. I ordered seals for a door we bought in 2010. The sales process was reasonable and despite a hefty price tag received them within the time specified. I had to contact the technical team because one of the pieces was slightly twisted. Lucas assured me it would be okay but has promised to replace it should we have any issues. Great service and good products.
ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE
Misleading information and incorrect technical drawings on the catalogue. Purchased a very expensive shower enclosure compared to other brands, just because it should have a door can open both ways. Received an enclosure with a much wider door opening than stated. It absolute is a design failure as it doesn’t leave any room to move inside when the door opens inwards unlike the picture shown on the brochure. So, the door can only open outwards now and all the extra money we spend is a waste. Contacted the company. After emailing back and forward multiple times they finally understood the mistake causing the problem. Their lack of ability to read their own technical drawings absolutely was shocking. Finally they thanked us for letting them know and accepted that there was misleading information. A decent company should have offered a full refund but we were only offered £100 refund, less than the tenth of the amount we paid. And almost after a year we still haven’t received anything after hours of debating. As an engineer I was appalled with their technical knowledge, accepted the refund just because we don’t have any more energy left to deal with their unprofessional approach. Whole experience is a huge let down. Suffice to say, never dealing with this company again.

I am a bathroom fitter and advising customers to look eleswhere
I am a bathroom fitter and I have been purchasing and fitting matki products for several years unfortunately the quality of the materials I have purchased and then fitted over the last 2 years is appalling and there after sales is even worse. The company now only does half days on a Tuesday and Friday and when you do get through you are told to email and they will get back to you which they do eventually.
I have now decided to tell all my customers not to purchase Matki products as the company just does not care and the last straw for me is that I have been refurbishing a bathroom for a customer where they had purchased a Matki shower cubicle, when I went to fit it I opened the boxes to find several damaged parts, Matki was contacted and they then assured the company I purchased the shower from that they would sort it out and have new parts delivered on the day I needed it for fitting, they did not deliver when they said they then said it would be delivered on Tuesday as I was fitting it on the Wednesday I even offered to pay for delivery to guarantee it was delivered I was told that it would definitely arrive so not to worry, surprise surprise it never arrived and was not able to contact Matki as it was a half day. This meant I was not able to fit the cubicle on the Wednesday and I have a very annoyed customer and Matki just dont care and this is not the first time. On the same job I have a damaged shower wall outlet and they cant even tell me when I will receive this what a joke I dont expect this type of service from a company like Matki this company is suppose to be selling high end products this is not the case and there customer service is appalling. People need to know that Matki products and service over the last 2 years has deteriorated to a level that is not satisfactory.
I would advise customers to look elsewhere company's like Kudos, Merlyn and others give a better service.

Aftersales Service gets 5 starts
We recently purchased 2 shower trays. I wanted to get a repair kit and phoned the bathroom company where I had originally ordered the tray. Matki provided the repair kit free of charge even though this was not a warranty claim (one got scratched sometime during installation). To my surprise it arrived at my doorstep the very next day.
What a pleasant surprise.
Big fan of the brand
Big fan of the brand. We’ve enjoyed our Matki shower units for over 13 years (they still look great/haven’t dated since our house was built!) and am thankful for the reliable and efficient assistance I have recently received.
Matki’s Technical Support Department/Customer Support Service have been really helpful in dealing with our (first) minor parts (cartridge) issue; their considered responses and action turn-around times were wonderfully prompt. They we’re happy to listen to our plumber, deduced the cause of our issue straight away and mailed out a part immediately. So pleased we decided to install the timeless Matki units; the firm’s dedication to nice design, maintaining good client relationships and achieving satisfactory outcomes at impressive speed is worth the investment. Would recommend and purchase from them again.

Great service. Problem with the hinges on our shower door, Matki came and replaced them free of charge (they were 4 years old, the guarantee is for 8!).
Easy to arrange, friendly service from everybody we spoke to, especially the service engineer.
Excellent Customer Care
Needed a few spare parts so I called the customer care and spoke with Jenny JG. She was so polite and helpful, emailed me plenty of info to help establish which shower enclosure I have. She also included a fitting guide to help me identify the parts and how to fit. Just spoke to her on the phone again to order the parts, such a helpful lady, I’m very happy with this 1st class customer care from a UK company.. brilliant!
Beware - Product ordered not delivered after 16 weeks
Shower enclosure ordered from Fired Earth told it will be 2-3 weeks. 16 weeks on and I still do not have a date for delivery . Fired Earth staff are doing their best to chase but Matki are not delivering. Will be requesting refund as bathroom has been delayed due to this and cannot delay any further.

Great Service and aftercare
had small issue with my gold linear handles after 18 months called Technical support team, spoke to Phil who was really helpful and pro active. Sent me some screws and new handles straight away. Problem solved now. Would recommend Matki to friends and colleagues you really find out about a company after the sale and how they treat you when things break or dont go well. I was really impressed with Matki. Keep up the good work.

I must congratulate this company for still retaining a person to answer the phone immediately when you phone them which I am sorry to say is unique in this day and age of hiding good customer service behind “COVID” let Matki be an example of what can be achieved if you care about your customers. After explaining my shower door issue an appointment was made for an engineer to visit suiting my availability as well as theirs. Alan arrived on time and his very helpful and courteous understanding was brilliant and I now have a 100% working shower door again. When booking the appointment I asked the cost for the engineers visit and was told “there is no charge” which is going that extra mile to respect and honour their customers. A big thank you to all at Matki for providing such a brilliant customer service experience.
Matki Eauzone Quintesse…
I bought a Matki Eauzone Quintesse Shower enclosure in Oct 2016 from CP Hart. Unfortunately the brace bar deteriorated quite quickly with the chrome peeling off. I contacted Matki and an engineer came and replaced the bar. Great service! Unfortunately the replacement brace bar has done exactly the same thing - the chrome coating is peeling off and is very sharp and can cut the finger when wiping down. I contacted Matki and the response was very different from my first. The customer services representative said that as I hadn't registered the shower on the website I wasn't covered for an engineer to come out and replace even though the part is under 5 years old. He authorised a replacement part which we would have to install ourselves. We have received the part and, needless to say, it has sat in the packaging for months as my husband doesn't feel confident to do this himself and I don't see why I should have to pay for a plumber to install a part that is very obviously faulty. I don't think this part is made out of the same material as the hinges, door handles and other chrome parts on the shower which are all fine. It is obviously coated and not a solid product. I also have a Matki Eauzone Plus Curved Corner Slider shower in another bathroom and I have no issues with any of the chrome parts on this product. I do not use harsh chemicals which can be proved by the fact that both showers don't have any problems other than this particular brace bar. Also the brace bar sits above the door and is quite high and only needs to be dried off with a cloth. Having read all the wonderful reviews from people - some who have moved into houses with Matki products that they didn't purchase yet still manage to get an engineer out, and some who have products that are over 10 years old and still get an engineer to visit, I am wondering why I'm not getting the same service on a product that isn't 5 years old. I have my invoice from CP Hart that proves when I purchased this shower. Whether or not I registered it on the website is, in my opinion, irrelevant. Matki products are at the top end in terms of price and I expected more longevity and better customer service for the money spent. Disappointed!!
Update on review. I was contacted by Matki after they saw my review and an engineer has been out and replaced the brace bar free of charge. The engineer was very helpful and courteous. It’s a shame that it took a bad review to get somebody to sort it but fingers crossed that this bar lasts longer than the others have. Thank you Matki for sorting.

Exemplary customer service.
Contacted Matki early last month when a component in their shower valve body assembly developed a leak.
Despite the part being out of the guarantee period, Matki agreed to provide a replacement without cost. Unfortunately they had to wait for their supplier to obtain further stock (a not uncommon occurrence just now), but when it did arrive, it was dispatched by overnight courier, again free of cost. Peter and Matt in Matki technical services are to be congratulated on exemplary customer service in difficult times.

Leaky showers
Had several Matki showers installed as part of our home renovation. The frames and seals leak badly. Had the authorized supplier in to change the seals. Still leak. Having been in correspondence with Matki desperately trying to get one of their engineers over to assess and fix the problem. Despite several chasers over the last month. No joy. Meanwhile my bathrooms are a damp mess.

Bought a shower around 3 years ago there was a mark in the glass got in touch with Matki Customer Service. They were amazing helpful knowledgeable. Sent technician round to my home ( Alan ) was brilliant lovely helpful chap sorted the problem out. from start to finish they have been amazing. Would recommend this brand
