Mandy is fantastic! Facebook groups are clunky, outdated, and hard to read but Mandy makes finding production gigs so much easier! It takes a lot of confusing out of taking a leap and changing careers and is so easy to use. The jobs are worth the time spent looking, and the time spent is so much less because it's so easy to use!

Mandy’s slick and professional website is easy to navigate and the standard of the organisation’s looking for freelancers is extremely high.
Setting up notifications and completing your profile is well worth doing. You will receive regular notifications about work that matches your skill set.

Mandy is very good at sorting the types of available jobs into relevant categories. You get the right offers and a logical path to apply. Production is often messy but Mandy keeps things organized.

I signed up on Mandy some 12 years ago when I was just starting as a Trainee Director and its great how I've developed in the screen industries field as a Filmmaker.

Honestly, with the entertainment industry getting worse and worse in terms of exploitation and all the shady P2P voice over casting sites that are out there, I figured I would give Mandy a go after learning they started getting into casting work her voice actors. Let's just say that I have now signed up for their paid subscription and you barely get even four to five relevant jobs a week. Worse yet, you don't know how many other talent you're up against as at least other sites let you know how many auditions are required and how many other talent you're up against. For all I know, hundreds of people are fighting over the same stupid job, leaving me and others with very little chance to book it. I've generated some leads and almost booked a pretty good animation job, but then the client decides to do what flaky clients do and pull out. So in about a year and a half of using this paid service, I have yet to recoup my subscription fees by booking anything. Also, there customer service is absolutely non-existent. I think they're located in the uk, but that has nothing to do with a fast response time through messaging. I've literally sent multiple messages about an issue regarding an audition I uploaded that isn't properly showing up, but they have yet to get back to me and it has been more than 3 days. Honestly, I still have hope for them since they do seem to be focused on the talent side of things and not just raking in cash by letting anyone with a credit card sign up (cough, voices and voice123), but at least those sites give you plenty of opportunities to submit multiple auditions a day. I don't know if anyone has actually booked voice work with mandy.com, but I feel like it's very far and few. If they do exist, I would love to hear from them.

I'm fairly certain there's absolutely no one manning the emails at Mandy. I've been a member for years on and off and usually am able to jump between membership and non depending on whether I can afford it/am going to use the service.

This is clearly no longer possible as the only way to deactivate my membership or even delete my account is through email. And then no one answers anything, leaving me hanging with an unwanted subscription that I can't afford to pay for.

It's really put me off ever reactivating my membership in the future just in case this happens again.

Please just delete my account!

Been with Mandy Singers for years and they have always provided many worthwhile auditions to attend, on a regular basis. I would say Mandy is one of the leaders in providing entertainment jobs.

It seems to be a solid site to book some jobs, but the subscription price is extortionate. Other than that, its a decent platform that many productions turn to

Contacted them a few time via email, facebook and instagram anout account deactivation, still have not received a response for over a week. What the hell do you have to do to get your photos removed?!

Great customer service - rectified a mistake promptly

I've been using the platform for years. I regularly book work on CCP now known as Mandy and go onto to build relationships with directors and continue to book work. It's user friendly and offers tonnes of opportunities.
However, I do find it a little pricey now, especially as there's no scrutiny with the paid roles, some paid jobs are as low as £100 or £300 but what full use age rights for all platforms which frankly should be illegal. Also, it seems to have recently lost the who & when someone has viewed your application feature which I loved.

Other than that, great platform to network and book jobs.

Coming up to 10 years as a member. When it was called casting call pro, it actually worked. Its no longer fir for purpose. Site often not working properly. Many jobs ads poorly under paid and destroying a steruggling industry. My membership expires in November. It will NOT be renewing.

I have been using Mandy.com for a few months now and it is great. I have find it easy to navigate and easy to audition for a ton of fresh new jobs which come in daily.

It is definitely different to other voiceover websites as it builds up your itinerary of auditions under your profile which is handy.

No longer fit for purpose. I am bombarded on a daily basis by jobs that are irrelevant. Despite putting in place filters and every possible measure I am still getting tons of junk mail. When I do go on the site and put in my search YET again (as it doesn't remember your last search) there's a pitiful selection, often out of date, often unpaid. They say a fool and their money are easily parted...well I won't be foolish enough to sign up again!

Sadly after being bought out by Backstage the website had severely deteriorated and is a very inferior version of its former self. Absolute crying shame really as Casting Call Pro/Mandy gave me some wonderful contacts, jobs, opportunities and resources that were and ARE invaluable to any jobbing actor. However, I have absolutely cancelled my membership due to the way the website has become and the removal of so many features on there.

Was scammed out of $300 by "Suzy Buckley", "Sam Damian" and "Natalie Sisk".

I've been back after a long time away. Mandy has changed a fair bit. But, what it has approved upon massively is the amount of smaller (weekly or monthly) paid freelance work. Which is ideal for people who already have quite a busy schedule and can not commit to a project for months at a time. Really happy so far.
