The website is user friendly and you can find a broad range of opportunities across theatre, screen and everything in between. You also get regular email reminders which is very helpful.

I love the variety of roles available in many different screen genres.

Roles are constantly streaming through my inbox, so there are no shortages of things that I can apply for.

I am constantly applying for things. The latest one being a feature film that sounds exciting.

It is worth joining Mandy, as their membership fees are not too expensive either.

I am aware that some people have got work through Mandy. However in my experience the jobs it sends out are all very commercial and it is incredibly rare to even be considered for them. My main issue with Mandy is that ultimately it is exploiting people’s passion and creativity for their own mercenary gain. The prices are very high and there is no way to get a hold of anyone at the company. Recently I had an experience where I needed a significant refund. No matter how many emails I send or how much I call them, they will not respond to me and other people have had this experience too. I have lost that money forever. I wanted to write this review to warn people of this side of Mandy.

I have gotten daily emails of possible jobs with Mandy but am yet to apply to any; despite this, it looks like a user friendly helpful way to get work. I'm looking forward to applying to jobs in the New Year.

Utterly useless waste of time is how I describe MANDY. Having been a member for over six months, Mandy appears to be a real cheapskate job board asking for free help or otherwise very underpaid labour. It’s the sort of thing you would expect to see in the corridor of a college, not a professional forum that involves a lot of skilled and experienced talent. The customer service is also an insulting interaction with AI bots at best. Highly disappointed and frankly cheated by a subscription that was not worth a single penny in return (just a lot of wasted effort and attention). Could not recommend it poorly enough

As new actor Mandy has been a very useful site for me, I've been successfully approached for a few opportunities and a handful of my own applications have resulted in employment. Thanks Mandy, here's to an even more successful year ahead!

Absolutely shocking service. There is NO way to get hold of anyone there. I have made contact with them in literally every conceivable way. Various email addressed. Filled in their online form. Facebook. Twitter. Instagram. I have a paid account I'm unable to log into. Its been nearly a week and N0 ONE has been in contact. Their only phone number goes to a voicemail telling me to email them. What fresh hell of customer service is this. I would not recommend paying money for this shocking service. They do not care about their customers.

Mandy is a great place for voice over talent, like myself, to find work that pays at industry standards, instead of saturating the market with underpaid work. I'm really happy with the quality of jobs available and would recommend to all serious voice over actors.

I just had to cancel my membership as a discount that I should have had was not applied and they blamed the computer system although I had submitted the details to them 18 months ago in order to quality. You can, it appears, only claim a Union membership discount on the monthly fee if you cancel your account close it and then sign up again. I will not be renewing with Mandy for 18 months until the amount of discount I am
owed has been recovered. They refused to accept their mistake and this made me re-evaluate and I realised that it was not economically productive to be with Mandy.com, despite its previous reputation which it appears to be trading under even though the site has been bought out. The other problem they have not solved even though I have complained for many years is that when producers post jobs they almost always put the application deadline as after the advertised recording date which makes no sense and we can never tell if a job has expired or not and it takes time and effort to submit an audition and you could be doing it and the job already recorded and done - I submitted many auditions but only 2% of the auditions recieved a response - there is no system on Mandy to see the progress of an audition and you have no idea if you have been rejected but yet it is the most expensive of the platforms to join because of its reputation. The feeling in the Mandy online Forum community is now it has been bought out it may not be trading as Mandy for very long as the web site functionality (which was not great to begin with) has been reduced further - the two problems I mention above make it not viable for me to continue so I have cancelled my paid membership after nearly 4 years being on the site 3 years as a premium member.

Consistent job notifications with a range of errors and opportunities

I was a member of the site for 10 years. In recent months I had been accelerating various different shoot pitches for self-funded documentary projects. I had been asking videographers to schedule their own shoots, due to budget but also streamline the situations when the subject and filmmaker were local to each other and in the same timezone. Some complained about this request and I was given a threatening warning from their site admin Kat. I asked her for undeniable proof as to the role of a videographer via the letter of an entertainment lawyer. I argued that some are also small business owners with producing skills. Kat got buttered and banned my account. "Protecting" members from getting paid work. The act is cowardly, goal-post changing, counter intuitive and vengeful. I had been pitching work and the applicant numbers were low, and some that did apply weren't local to the gig.

The Mandy platform is easy to use, and has some great features for making a good looking profile for cast and crew in the film industry. To apply for jobs, however, you need to pay for a premium membership and they are mostly in London.

I get 7 days free if I send a review. I have no idea if this is a good site.

Only 4 stars because I have not tried premium! Mandy is nice and organized. I love how your feed is specific to your craft. I have yet to secure work through it, but this is probably because I have not tried premium! :)

Very easy to sign up and access your profile. No complaints at all

Mandy has been great for me! You get constant alerts that are specific to your casting type and the website is super easy to navigate and use.

Mandy is great! I’ve only been using it properly for a month and have already secured a week long production job! Highly recommend - great for starting out in the industry.

It seems like there are some good opportunities on the website, but being a South African $100.00 US a month is just not feasible to try it out just for the chance of applying and hoping to get feedback from a potential client.
