For a company that claims to be Australian, but uses a fake Russian actor and puts down another Australian (Mr Harvey) in their advertising, I definitely do not trust Makin mattresses anymore, not to mention all their products are highly overpriced and extremely low quality.

Excellent service & high quality mattresses.

As a long term customer over 25 years you excelled again. A mattress custom made in October 2025.

Some issues started to appear 1 week ago. Spoke with Rose at Regency Park. SA .Who has done so well with our concern. Who is an absolute credit to Makin Mattress.

It was picked up on Monday 20.4.26 It was returned this morning fully rectified. 22.4.26. The delivery & fitting team were on time & called us in advance on the 2 occasions over these days.

The best customer service experience. So well done.

My husband and I got a Matilda Bellissimo medium queen mattress and it was the biggest mistake of our lives, expensive mistake. We paid $3000 and in a week I had extreme back, knee and ankle pain, I was not sleeping at all my mental health was at an all time low, I went back into the store and felt like I was being gaslighted by the manager she kept questioning me as to why I got a medium mattress and kept telling me the mattress on the showroom floor have been laid on for years and that’s why they feel good. She insisted that I need to work the bed in for it to feel the same. I ordered a topper and paid more money in hopes the mattress would be more comfortable I have given it 3 months and I am in extreme pain we rang the store again to be told the only thing they can do is I use our comfort warranty to change the mattress firmness which won’t help I laid on the plush and hard mattresses and got full body numbness. It’s extremely disappointing that they don’t have an offer of ur money back when you have these kinds of problems. We also asked to speak to someone higher then the store manager and she told me that she was it and then said there is an area manager when we insisted their had to be someone higher and we are still waiting to hear from that person. My hope in writing this review is to save the next person from this mistake and saving them their money.

From when the mattress was quoted to picking the correct one and then to picking it up the service was always great

I was happy with the service and the product. Being a mattress that can be flipped means double the use over time.

This is our 4th mattress purchase from Makin' Mattresses.
We keep going back as their product is excellent and service outstanding.
Every time we have encountered warm, welcoming and professional staff with great knowledge of the product and customer needs. The showroom is clean, well-maintained and with many beds to try.
The delivery has always worked like clockwork - smooth as silk.
The one time we did require an adjustment to our mattress, they were true to their word and immediately organised the alternation - all in the one day!
The other thing we love is the mattresses are all locally made. We are definitely lifetime customers and highly recommend Makin' Mattresses.

Customer service was great and professional Delivery was very efficient and professional. We are very happy overall. Would recommend this company to anyone that needs a new mattress and base.

Bought a mattress from them in 2017 on the comfort promise. Very poor quality and expensive. Failed within 28 months. Would not buy from them again.

Very disappointing mattress and service. We bought a Bellissimo Duet 400 Soft. Almost straight away it developed holes where you sleep, we turned it more often that the handbook recommends and it still gets a hole the shape of your body after only a few hours sleeping. I went back to the Albury shop to talk about it as we aren't happy. The woman at the shop was downright rude. She told us that we were supposed to sleep in the middle of the mattress a couple of nights a week to stop the holes developing. I pointed out that we are a couple and that two people can't sleep in the middle of the bed. She then rapped with her knuckles on a piece of paper taped to the desk and said "It's right there, you would've been told that when you bought the mattress".
Well we weren't told anything like that, because there's no way we would've bought the mattress if they had told us. The other woman there told us that we could bring it back to the shop and they would change the soft topping for a firmer one and I asked if that would not get the sleeping shape holes and she really didn't want to answer. This was a very expensive mattress and asking your customers to sleep in the middle of the bed a couple of times a week so as it doesn't develop these holes is crap. We are looking for another mattress and when we get one I will take this rubbish back to the shop and dump it in their driveway.

Quality product and great service.

I have been buying mattresses from Makin from past 8 years. The service and quality never disappoints.

Well I waited a while before they tried ringing me to decide on a soft or a medium pillow which didn’t have that on there website when I order the pillows .But iam pretty happy with the pillows I bought.

From walking into the showroom to sleeping in our new bed the process was fantastic. The great service we received in store, very knowledgable and recommended the best bed for us. It was delivered without a hitch a short time later and we have been sleeping like a dream ever since. The best purchase we have made, the mattress is so comfortable and supportive. My sleep has improved and my back ache has disappeared. Love that we are supporting a local business and with such great results. could not recommend highly enough.

We spent 4000 dollars on the best mattress and pillow top cant sleep on it its like sleeping on a concrete floor done all the flipping and got mattress protection just a crap mattress can't even take pillow top off and sleep on mattress want a mattress I can sleep on never tried to sleep on a worse bed very disappointed

Good quality, competitive prices and fast service. I bought a single Siesta mattress in 2012 and just replaced it with a larger Siesta king single. The original mattress is still in great shape.

Online purchase process was easy to navigate. Delivered on time by very caring staff. Very comfortable bed. Great value for money.
