I made a request today for a repair to my Bi Fold Door. Not only did they respond and arrange a visit on the same day but the work carried out was exceptional.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great service and job well done!

The corner of my Dad's memorial tablet had broken off in two pieces. The repair is completely invisible to the eye and even if you run your hand over the area you can't feel the join. Outstanding job - very pleased. Definitely recommend Magicman.

Gave a great review previously for the engineer as he did rectify the issue. However, 6 months later the top layer has come off and the worktop is very sticky and turning a different colour. After emailing asking to see if an engineer could return to look at the problem, I was told this would be chargeable due to the fact I signed off the original work and they offer no warranty. All I did was ask the engineer to apply another coating as you could still see the dent, which he advised would resolve the issue. I was not aware this wasn’t ‘your standard process’ I just agreed to the work being carried out. I was also unaware that any work carried out was not under warranty because I signed and accepted what he did.

I believe you should at least send an engineer out to look at the issue as it may be the products which you have used. Instead you have just replied with “This complaint is now closed on our side, if you wish to seek further external advise please do so”.

This is such poor customer service. I have now have a worktop that will get worse with time and will need to be replaced.

Update: I emailed and informed them that they should ensure that under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the services they provide must be performed with reasonable care and skill. And if there was no resolution to this then I will have no option but to go to trading standards. They came back with report us to trading standards then as we have nothing illegal! They also never return your call!

Repair to worktop satisfactory, the company’s communication with one another and me as their client was not very good. Booked for between 8am-noon, workman booked from 11.30am-3pm?? 🙄They take quite a while getting in touch with one another and I still haven’t heard from them after emailing them hoping for at least a formal apology/maybe slight discount in compensation. There were 2 small chips in the worktop and I was charged £180. I believe a fairly high price for hanging around all morning unable to go outside in case he turned up

I Booked in Magicman after we had a plumber screw holes incorrectly in our bathroom. To save re-tiling the wall it’s now been sorted quickly and you wouldn’t even know where the holes were.

Paid a significant amount to repair a wall! Was given a quote after sending photos of said wall. Guy came, sorted a few bricks, that was it! Wall looks worse than ever! After complaining! They want ANOTHER £450 to finish the job!!!! Still ongoing!!!
Ps. Paid £450 for only ten bricks repaired!!!

We had the pleasure to use Magicman services to fix a minor damage to our front door. The whole process from booking the job was very straightforward. Christophe did a fantastic work, was very prompt and good communicator. The whole door was color matched and sprayed to the highest standards. I would use the company again if something starts falling apart.

My damaged kitchen unit thanks to a burglar throwing a brick into it now looks like new again! Thank you so much to Phil from Magicman. On time, professional, polite, friendly, cleaned everything up & did a fantastic job! Would highly recommend.

Do not use this company

I had magicman come out to fix a very small dent on my uPVC door frame . The first technician that came out done a terrible job loads of overspray and didn't even match the colour despite me giving them the colour code.
Second technician came out today done a better job still didn't have the same colour code spray. He has scratched the door frame near the dent when sanding down the other technicians overspray . I have paid £180 and my door frame looks worse and has more damage then before a absolute joke !

Recommended by our plumber about a severely cracked washbasin, they came it and repaired it leaving it as new. Unbelievable!
I took off one star because one has to pay the full amount in advance. A deposit would have been fairer to ask.

We are over the moon that we found MagicMan. Having taken 3 chunks out of our kitchen worktop as the result of my husband falling off a ladder whilst decorating, we spoke to our kitchen supplier who in turn gave us a MagicMan business card.
From making the initial contact through to the appointment being made - we were dealt with most efficiently. After only a couple of days we were offered an appt and Niko came to our rescue.
He was so polite and personable and assured me all would be well. And it was. His patience and diligence was amazing. After just over 3 hours he had seamlessly repaired the damaged worktop. We are so glad we found MagicMan and Niko, a credit to his craft

Quoted £800+ to fix a burn on a kitchen door. This is why the uk is ruined. Absolute con artists.

Tyler came to repair cracks in limestone floor tiles that we had put up with for years and had thought that it was just "one of those things". What a superb job he has done! It's faultless. He just came in, did the job, tidied up afterwards and left the floor looking as good as it had when it first went down 15 years ago. A brilliant, professional job. Thank you so much. Wayne

Turned up on time was friendly courteous apologised for the previos shoddy repair.When the repair was finished it was first class our sink looked brand new .I would highly recommend your repairman.

Engineer was brilliant and fixed a burn on my counter top. Took about 3 hours and he took a lot of care and left no mess. Highly recommend Magicman.

I have updated this review since 25th March when the engineer couldn't come because of an emergency. It was worth waiting for. Thank you.
