The staff were very friendly and welcoming, during the trip they were quick to answer questions and always on hand to help with anything, nothing was to much trouble. The carriages we travelled in were spotless and tables all layed out as a 1st class travel experience should be. The food was excellent no issues with quality or service, everything well presented.

The only negative wasn't really with the Train experience itself but with the transfer from coach back onto the train at Victoria Station, London. As it was so busy at the station our group got somewhat broken up as we all walked to what we thought was our platform, The group at the front got the correct platform but around 30 of the group went to the wrong platform and was lost, it took about 10 minutes to find the correct platform as the Company Reps were at the correct platform...a representative should have stayed at the back guiding us in the right direction...it was a minor blip though and did not detract or ruin the experience. I would recommend to anybody to go on one of these experiences you won't be disappointed, it is a long day but very worthwhile and pleasant...hats off to all the Team!!..💜

We were on the Phil Howard culinary train journey on 22/5/25 and from the moment we stepped on the train the whole thing was an utter delight . Setting , staff, service , quality of the food , live jazz band - ALL absolutely excellent . The only thing that lacked a little atmosphere was the Reception room where everyone gathered before boarding .. hard to pin down but something additional to a welcome drink required to bring it to life.

We booked the train to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and it did not disappoint. We were greeted on the platform as we approached with smiles and directions. I was impressed that they learnt and remembered our names. The food and accompanying wines were delicious. Initially, this was supposed to be a once in a lifetime booking, however we had such a wonderful and thinking of making another booking in the future.

A day out we’ll remember forever.
From start to finish the Moving Mystery was wonderful. The booking was easy and seamless, all my questions answered fully and in a timely fashion. On the day we arrived at Victoria Station in plenty of time though were unsure where to go. My only suggestion would be signage of some description or details on the tickets of where to go, it’s a big station. Anyway, once we got to the right place we were looked after impeccably. The train itself was beyond words, stunningly beautiful and being able to travel on it was a privilege. The food was wonderful, acting flawless and attention to detail by train staff perfect. Trying to solve the mystery was fun and just added to an already perfect day.

We had a truly magical trip to Edinburgh, the whole experience was so well organised, beautiful, and comfortable. Loved the meet and great staff, the piper at each station and the truly stunning food.

Our Pullman to the Grand national was superb from start to visit. Our Steward James was top notch and could not have done more for us. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. Looking forward to next year!

From booking this fantastic event of the murder mystery and the actual day was great. The food, atmosphere of the 1930s and trying to solve the crime was an experience I will never forget. A truly wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

We have just been on the British Pullman trip around Kent and it was truly amazing from start to finish. Lucy at LuxuryTrainTickets looked after us from the point of booking up to the day. The day itself was one of the best things we've done as a family. The staff on and off the train made you feel so welcome and special. The service was pure class and food was delicious and not rushed. The drinks flowed and were generous. We definitely felt it was value for money. My parents thought it was wonderful and makes the best present. Highly recommend.

I booked the York trip for my wife's 60th Birthday, Oh my, such a wicked experience, the staff from the word go made it very special even when booking the experience Lucy was fantastic and she helped with all my questions. On the day as mentioned all the staff were brilliant and very knowledgeable, the food was fantastic, will definitely do this again :)

I very rarely do reviews but this one is a pleasure to write! Our initial point of contact for our booking was Lucy at Luxury Trains who was so patient in dealing with all my questions in making arrangements to celebrate our daughter’s milestone birthday. The tickets were sent out promptly by Carol and along with Lucy both of them shared their personal experience of the train and their enthusiasm was so infectious! Nothing was too much trouble in order to make our day perfect and memorable.

As others have said in previous reviews the train, service, food and drink was impeccable and the staff including the Train Manager were so lovely coming around to ensure that everything was going smoothly (a special mention for Dylan our Steward who had a terrific sense of humour and looked after us so well). The singers were just a lovely touch and made the trip feel so festive.

We wanted a day for our daughter to remember…. in fact the day was memorable for all for all us, thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, we are so appreciative.

We enjoyed a fabulous day with six friends. Everything was first class the staff,food entertainment all made it a day to remember.

Our night was absolutely wonderful from when we arrived on the station and offered a glass of champagne, ushered into our cabin which took our breath away, to the attentive staff, the food, the wine, the entertainment. I could go on. This was by far the most perfect New Year’s Eve we have spent, ever. Yes I mean that. We really were completely blown away. Thank you so much

What a great day out, I was worried at first about 5 hours on a train, but what a day it was all over too soon. The staff were amazing and the booking team were so very helpful. the day was a special day for us and no effort was spared. I am so grateful for all the help we had and also the surprises we had along the way. I cannot recommend this enough. Thank you to everyone :)

It was a magical day travelling on a beautiful Pullman with a five star meal served along the way. The singers, musicians, and magicians were amazing and gave the event a party feel. Thank you for fulfilling my expectations.
