This was our first experience on a Pullman train. And it was a luxury experience for sure. Booking was easy and seamless via Luxury Train Tickets who sorted out all our needs and kept us fully updated re our journey.
The train experience we had was from London Victoria to Chatsworth House and back. The day started at 8.20 am with a sparking wine reception on the platform with an excellent singer providing entertainment.
We then spent the next few hours enjoying a wonderful 3 course brunch.
Once we got to our midpoint location we were professionally transferred to Chatsworth house on a luxury coach where we enjoyed a wonderful couple of hours independently exploring this beautiful location at our own pace.
We were collected on time and arrival back to the train was greeted with the popping of corks and with a glass of champagne.
The following 5hrs were spent devouring an excellent 5 course meal with excellent wine and discrete but faultless service- big shout out to Pai and Cassie for their fabulous service.
We finally arrived back in Victoria station at 10pm after enjoying a complete bucket list experience.
The train was sumptuous and it was basically a 5 star hotel and restaurant on wheels.
We cannot recommend this experience highly enough and we are already planning our next trip.

Absolutely fantastic day - Everything was perfect!
The Booking process was easy with great help over the phone to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. All the staff from the booking through to the end of our day were so so helpful & exactly what you would expect from this kind of experience.

I booked the London Victoria round trip as a present for my Wife’s Birthday & as we got off our train at Victoria to start the day, there was live music from three ladies singing with perfect harmonies at the entrance to the British Pullman reception (I wish I could remember their name!) We were greeted with a welcome drink & awaited the arrival of our Steam Train.

There are more than ten carriages, all are 1920’s & 1930’s Art Deco, restored wonderfully.
We were met at our carriage door (Cygnus) & welcomed aboard by name & shown to our seats / table for our trip. The staff were fantastic, perfect chat & superior service throughout.

The food - all five courses - was absolutely first class, just the right portions too. Very very good. This was accompanied by our supplied bottle of Verve Clicquot, along with three other beautiful wines along the way.

We stopped at Dover to stretch our legs briefly & for the tender to take on water for our return trip.

Dessert was then served, followed by cheeses & biscuits & petit fours.

Sitting there with time for lovely conversation, fantastic food & wines, watching the countryside fly by was a really wonderful way to spend a day,

Time on the train was about five hours, which was pretty perfect & I think everyone was sad to leave once we arrived back at Victoria.

I would really hope we could be returning for another trip at some point.

My British Pullman experience was wonderful from start to finish. Booking my journey with LuxuryTrainTickets.com was the cherry on the sundae. All my questions were answered promptly and complete instructions were sent beforehand. The train itself is gorgeous. I was in the Minerva carriage. Our two attendants were delightful. I enjoyed getting to know the couple next to me. Burghley House was incredible and Stamford was quaint. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

We recently embarked on the British Pullman to take part in the Murder Mystery Experience. We were welcomed with a drink in the Pullman Lounge before being shown to our cabin.

The staff, who were excellent throughout, gave us a brief history of our carriage and provided us with everything we needed for the journey. The food was delightful, beautifully presented and kept us satisfied for the full duration of the journey.

The highlight was the murder mystery itself. You are fully immersed in the journey to Arcadia from minute one. The actors and actresses on board are absolutely fantastic. Interacting with each of them was a pleasure, and they provided plenty of humour throughout the journey.

I have returned from this trip recommending it to friends and family. It is worth every penny.

We had the best day! From arriving at the platform to a fab jazz singer, to incredible service and comfort on the train (and the food - so delicious!). We were well looked after, and it was incredible to be able to see Highclare Castle in small groups. Our guide told us usually they have 1300 visitors a day! Highly recommend, and hope to do another trip next time we are in London.

Our second time on a Pullman.
But the food was extremely poor.
I had fish on a bed or mash potato and half a carrot!. The rice pudding, only a couple of mouth falls and yu same with the soup.. so extremely disappointed. And costing almost £1.000

I will not hesitate in the future to book another trip with Luxury Train Tickets. They are very professional and assist in handling all the details no matter how small! Thank you to Carol and the whole staff for making our trip even more amazing!

I had booked the Pullman Train from London Victoria to Chatsworth House and it was the absolute highlight of my stay in London. The organization was impeccable and everything, from the food to the decorations was just perfect. The stewards were extremely polite and friendly and made sure to honor every birthday, anniversary and other celebration that brought us together that day. A special praise goes to Freddie, Keith, Sinead and Cassie who were so polite and took so much time getting to know the passengers and making sure everyone was feeling well. As a first-time solo traveller, I felt like this was the perfect starting point, as the team allowed everyone to just lean back and enjoy the day. During our stay, we were told about the history of our train car and encouraged to explore the others as well. Our time in Chatsworth House was long enough to explore the house and the gardens before we went back to the train. The day was quite long, from 8:40 to 21:40, but everyone I spoke to agreed that it was over far too soon. The promise of returning to the golden time of travel was more than fulfilled and I hope to return sooner rather than later!

What a fantastic day out! It surpassed all our expectations and Sarah, our host, couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and it was great to see everybody dressed up and enjoying themselves. I couldn’t recommend a trip aboard the Belmond enough!

The service and fine dining experience was everything we hoped and more.
Our carriage was absolutely beautiful and immaculate, with fantastic attention to detail.
All the staff were very friendly and attentive. We felt thoroughly spoilt and will definitely be returning.

What an amazing day celebrating my Mum's 80th birthday. From start to finish the service, food and attention to detail was spot on. We were extremely well looked after by Danny and Mike. Our first time on the Belmont Pullman, very much hoping it wont be the last.

Such a fabulous experience from the initial greeting on our arrival, the glass of bubbly and the entertainer who set the scene by singing songs from the 30s. Our servers were fabulous and looked the part in their uniforms true to the period of luxury travel. The train was a delight to travel in and each carriage was decorated to the highest soec and so beautifully reminiscent of the Art Deco period. The food was elegantly presented and delicious. All in all we enjoyed every moment and the experience of travelling on the Pullman is a memory that we will treasure for a very long time.

These train journeys are one of my absolute favourite things to do! So relaxing. I love the attentive service, and it is so nice to sit down for a few hours and just spend time chatting with someone you love, with no distractions. The food is great, and free flowing booze is a super indulgent treat. The opulent surroundings are the icing on the cake.

Firstly I must commend Lucy for her friendly and comfortable approach to dealing with us as newbie's to this type of experience
Lucy was actually interested in what we wanted and she delivered perfectly and we have just booked our second trip over the Christmas period
What also impressed us was that a day or two before we were due to travel Ralph rang from Luxury Train Tickets just to make sure we were okay with everything
